The K&N 69-0015TS Typhoon air intake system is a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum tube air induction system designed to fit some Acura RSX and Honda CR-V models. The restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing are replaced by the K&N Typhoon air intake which is designed to dramatically reduce air flow restriction as it smoothes and straightens air flow. This allows your engine to inhale a larger amount of air than the factory air intake. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine’s RPM range. The 69-0015TS air intake comes with a black rubber topped K&N high-flow air filter that installs into the previous air box space. Air is directed through the intake tube into the engine’s throttle body for a guaranteed power gain. The intake tube has an attractive silver powder-coat finish that's made to last and it accommodates the factory IA bypass control thermal valve, air temperature sensor and crank case vent hose. The oversized cone shaped air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is needed depending on driving conditions. This air intake is relatively easy to install usually in 90 minutes or less using existing factory mounting points. The tools needed are a screwdriver, pliers and ratchet set. Some Typhoon air intakes are not legal for sale or use in California and other states adopting California emission standards while others are CARB exempt and 50 state legal. Check the K&N catalog or website for vehicle applications and specific CARB status for each vehicle and air intake.

I self-service my Honda CR-V 2011 SUV and save a lot of dollars in service payments. Been using the best products on the market to keep it running smoothly. K&N's oil filter does a great job and remains and feels durable even after it's been used and ready to disposed. Other oil filters look weak or fragile when it's time to change. I feel confident with K&N oil filter.

I'm really happy with these new air filter for my Honda CR-V. I don't notice any gas fuel savings so far, but when stepping into the gas pedal, the engine delivers more power with less pressure on it . I really like the feel of driving my SUV on the highway, and I don't mind if I don't have a fuel saving, performance is just way better. Thanks

I've used K&N air filters in my last four automobiles, (a 2002 Honda Accord, 1999 Ford Explore, 2011 Highlander and 2014 CR-V,) plus two for my son's automobiles. Although I can't quantify their performance accurately, I think they improve both performance and mileage slightly. This is important to me because I now own two four cylinder cars and want all the horsepower I can get.
