The K&N AirCharger 63-3068 air intake system replaces the restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing in some Cadillac CTS models. K&N intakes are designed to dramatically reduce intake restriction as they smooth and straighten air flow. This allows your CTS’s engine to inhale a larger amount of air than the factory air filter assembly. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine’s RPM range. The 63-3068 air intake comes with a chrome topped K&N high-flow air filter and a heat shield that installs into the previous air box space. The placement allows air to be directed through a custom molded intake tube into the engine’s throttle body for a guaranteed power gain. The oversized air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is needed depending on driving conditions. This air intake is relatively easy to install requiring only a screwdriver, socket set and several wrenches. This air intake cannot be sold in California. It is not legal for use in California or other states adopting California emission standards.

I've been using this products on various vehicles since 2006, from Lincoln LSE's to a 2010 Taurus SHO, a 2011 Cadillac CTS-V a 2011 Lincoln MKX to my current car which is a Merc 550. I've noticed a marked difference in each of the cars in acceleration way more than when I had installed an Air Raid cold air intake system which actually slowed my CTS-V down, too much air for the sensors to accommodate so that was a waste of four hundred bucks. With all of the highly responsive and regulating computers on today's high performance cars determining what it going to do and not it's worth it to stop at K&N as far as air intake is concerned, anything else is a waste of money, as evidenced on several channels on You Tube. Take it from someone who's wasted hundreds of dollars seeking more speed, get a filter from these guy's you won't be disappointed.

This filter works great in my 2012 Cadillac CTS-V! I do notice a slight performance improvement in power and gas mileage. I never have to worry about replacing this filter ever again. This should last a lifetime. This makes my 6th K&N filter purchase. Ever since I found out about K&N, I have never went back to paper filters. K&N makes a filter for all of my cars.

I'm driving a 2014 Cadillac CTS-V. This car is a supercharged 6.2 liter, so it's basically a huge air pump. All the performance sites recommend the K&N high-flow air filter, so I thought I'd give it a try. Aftermarket performance companies are notorious for over-marketing, so I set my expectations low. Big mistake! I didn't expect this much improvement over the stock paper filter, but I can feel the punch of the K&N filter thoughout the rpm range. Previously the CTS-V would accelerate to 120 mph with a half-hearted gas pedal on a stretch of highway I travel regularly. After the K&N that same procedure yields 150 mph! At high rpms the filter really shows it's stuff, but the engine clearly breathes better even at low rpm. Nice work K&N! It's great to find a performance product that lives up to its claims.
