The K&N AirCharger 63-2583 air intake system replaces the restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing of some Ford F150 turbo models. K&N intakes are designed to dramatically reduce intake restriction as they smooth and straighten air flow. This allows your F150’s engine to inhale a larger amount of air than the factory air filter assembly. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine’s RPM range. The 63-2583 air intake comes with a chrome topped K&N high-flow air filter and a heat shield that mounts into the lower air box. This allows cooler, denser air to be directed through custom molded intake tubes into the engine’s two turbo inlets for a guaranteed power gain. The oversized air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is needed depending on driving conditions. This air intake is relatively easy to install requiring only a screwdriver and several wrenches and a socket set. This air intake cannot be sold in California. It is not legal for use in California or other states adopting California emission standards.

Product Reviews

So far, so good. Nice HP increase. Haven't noticed much of a mpg increase, but 70-75 is normal on our highways here, so it really wasn't expected. Easy install, fits like OEM, only performs better. Thanks.

Outstanding. K&N really knows their products. Did exactly what they claimed it would do. Easy to install, anyone that can read could install one of these kits. Boosted my power, torque and even upped the mileage a bit. I am am very happy with this kit. I STRONGLY suggest K&N products to anyone. As a matter of fact I already have.

Outstanding. Strongly suggest every engine have one of these units. Bolted it on and right away gained 3mpg and a noticeable advance in power on an Ecoboost V6. K&N is true to their advertising. You get what you pay for. Real easy for the everyday Joe to install, just like they say. Thank you K&N for being one of those companies the care about the end result of your product.

Intake kit really helped my F150 breathe better. Great hearing it suck all that air into the twin turbos. Increase in HP nice too.

Good price, easy to install and improved performance. I am totally satisfied.

I just installed a K&N cold air intake and filter on my 2013 F-150 super crew with the 3.5 Ecoboost engine and went from 21.5 Litres per 100km to 17.5 litres per 100 km pulling our 17 foot camper trailer. For those of you that don't understand the metric system that's going from 13 mpg to 16 mpg. Worth the investment. I haven't had the chance to try the truck by itself on the highway yet but the gain should be good.
