The K&N AirCharger 63-2580 air intake system replaces the restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing in some Ford F150 models. K&N intakes are designed to dramatically reduce intake restriction as they smooth and straighten air flow. This allows your F150’s engine to inhale a larger amount of air than the factory air filter assembly. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine’s RPM range. The 63-2580 air intake comes with a chrome topped K&N high-flow air filter and a heat shield that mounts into the lower air box. This allows cooler, denser air to be directed through a custom molded intake tube into the engine’s throttle body for a guaranteed power gain. The oversized air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is needed depending on driving conditions. This air intake is relatively easy to install requiring only a screwdriver and several wrenches. This air intake cannot be sold in California. It is not legal for use in California or other states adopting California emission standards.

Product Reviews      Review part 63-2580

My order shipped quickly. The install was about one hour. All parts bolt right up with no modification needed. The intake does exactly what they promise. My throttle response is snappy and the acceleration is greatly improved. I have not had it long enough to comment on MPG, but I supect it will improve slightly.

Great kit! 2 years running now. Better MPG on hwy winter and summer. Sounds great too!!

Bought it for my 2010 F-150 Supercab 4.6L V8 XLT 4x4 truck to help with overall performance, MPG, etc. I saw an improvement in gas mileage, (roughly 2+ mpg city and 4+ mpg highway) It also makes the truck sound more aggressive even with the stock exhaust! No problems with airflow sensor so far, but I've only had it on for about 2,000 miles. Easy to install, only took me 40 minutes (10 of which was spent locating the different tools I needed in my unorganized toolbox) overall, very pleased with results!

Love this K&N intake on my 2010 Ford F150.

Superb kit. Arrived when promised. Installed easily. Works great.

Getting 1-2 more MPG with the installation on my 4.6L 3V motor. That's at highway speeds. Doesn't seem to help much running around town but does sound more aggressive.
