The K&N 57S-9500 Performance Airbox replaces the restrictive factory air filter and air box. K&N performance air boxes are designed to dramatically reduce air flow restriction as well as smooth and straighten air flow. This allows your engine to inhale a larger amount of air than the factory air filter assembly. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine’s RPM range. The 57S-9500 Performance Airbox comes with an oversized cone shaped K&N high-flow air filter and a fully enclosed injection molded air box that connects up to the factory air intake hose. The air box has a removable lid for easy access to the filter when cleaning is required. The air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is needed depending on driving conditions. This performance air box is relatively easy to install into the previous air box space with commonly available tools. K&N builds these air box systems to last for the life of your vehicle and they are backed by K&N's Million Mile Limited Warranty. Some K&N 57S Series Performance Airboxes are compliant with the latest TUV emissions and sound regulations. Check the K&N catalog or website for vehicle applications and specific TUV status for each vehicle and air intake.

I have fitted the 57S-9500 onto my 2.0FSi Passat, and I need to say it’s really amazing what the box does to your car. You can really feel the difference in low rpm's but also when going full throttle. When driving without the lid you definitely have the feeling the car is a race car. Really nice solution that you can drive with the top off and on the air box base. And also TUV approved! Thanks K&N this was really worth more than I paid for......

Bought it for a 2013 Volkswagen Passat 2.5L 5cyl. Not only did it make my car sound SOOOO much better, but it increased the power significantly. Also, I drive a little hard and I use to get about 8-12 mpg in the Brooklyn city. Now my average is 16.5 after driving it really hard. This is the best thing I ever bought for my car, and it only cost me about $50. Definitely reccomend everyone to put this in their car, not only for the power and sound, but for the gas savings. This filter will pay itself off just in gas money. Definitely putting this in all my cars!!!

I have tried K&N Air Filter (E-2999) in my 2013 Audi A8 3.0L fuel type and I have really noticed the difference in terms of performance, initial torque and even horsepower. When you start accelerating, you can hear the air flowing through K&N filter and it really sounds good. Moreover, I can estimate the increase in hp to be around 30 hp which is great by only replacing the original air filter to K&N. Note: make sure to ask you car service provider if you are allowed to use them or not in order to not lose the car warranty. In my case, I usually remove them before the sending my car for routine checks.
