The K&N 57-9024 FIPK air intake system replaces the restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing in some Toyota T100 models. K&N intakes are designed to dramatically reduce intake restriction as they smooth and straighten air flow. This allows your engine to inhale a larger amount of air than the factory air filter assembly. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine’s RPM range. The 57-9024 air intake comes with a vented chrome topped K&N high-flow air filter and a heat shield that installs into the previous air box space. Air is directed through an aerodynamically engineered intake tube into the engine’s throttle body for a guaranteed power gain. The tube accommodates the factory mass air sensor and crank case vent hose. The oversized cone shaped air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is needed depending on driving conditions. This air intake is relatively easy to install usually in 90 minutes or less using existing factory mounting points. The tools needed are a screwdriver, pliers, ratchet set and several wrenches. K&N 57 Series FIPK's are street legal in all 50 US states and come with K&N's Million Mile Limited Warranty.

I've kept only K&N oil filters on my 1996 Chevy Tahoe 2dr, 4x4, but also my 2006 Cadillac CTS and my 2008 Toyota Camry. I keep synthetic oil in all my vehicles and I personally change the oil frequently always using K&N oil filters. Easy to install and are truly the best!

These filters are excellent quality and fit. I bought this filter a while back for my Toyota to see how well it worked. I was very pleased, and went ahead and purchased this one for my pick-up. I would highly recommend this filter, and K&N has been an excellent company to deal with. Order was processed and shipped immediately.

I got my 2014 Mazda 3 S 2.5 in April and immediately replaced the paper filter with a K&N filter. However I had been thinking of replacing the intake with a High Performance Intake unit. I checked with the Service Manager at my dealer to see if there would be any warranty issues. He said that it would not impact any warranty coverage (although he suggested that I could replace the K&N unit with the original air intake if there was a factory recall on the fuel system). I found this kit really easy to install. The photo instructions were well detailed and easy to follow. I was amazed at the length of the original factory unit. From the 5 inch slot opening it takes a 90 degree turn, goes down 20 inches into the fenderwell, does a 180 and goes back up another 20 inches to the bottom of the airbox. The K&N unit occupies the same space as the factory airbox and is a short 12 inch run to the engine. As I said it was an easy, follow the step/photo installation. The use of the factory air sensor meant there was no recalibration or special tuning required. I just started the engine, checked all of the fittings and clamps to be sure there was no leakage, shut the hood, took a short test drive and it was good to go. You can easily feel the performance increase, especially with the 2.5 liter engine's automatic in sport mode. My brother, who used to sell Mazdas, drove the car before the upgrade and after. He agreed that the performance increase was very noticeable. Plus we both found the very deep intake growl (most noticeable in the Sport mode) to be a blast. It can be intrusive, but isn't anywhere as noticeable when your driving in the normal mode, so this isn't an issue for me. I stopped at my dealer and 3 of the salesmen wanted to see and hear the KN Typhoon. They all loved it and they plan to talk to the Parts Manager about making the kit something that he offers rather than the current I can get one for you which is what he told me when I asked about K&N products. I wanted the kit right away so I checked availability at the O'Reilly Auto store's website (very big in Minnesota). They listed a K&N Typhoon kit. However when I checked with the K&N website the part number they had listed was shown by K&N as for the 2004-2012 Toyota Corolla. So if you want to get a Typhoon kit through your local dealer, be sure to go to the K&N site first to be sure that you get the correct part number. All in all I can highly recommend both the K&N Typhoon Performance kit and ordering directly from K&N. Both exceeded my expectations.
