The K&N 57-9017 FIPK air intake system replaces the restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing in some Toyota Sequoia models. K&N intakes are designed to dramatically reduce intake restriction as they smooth and straighten air flow. This allows your engine to inhale a larger amount of air than the factory air filter assembly. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine’s RPM range. The 57-9017 air intake comes with a chrome topped K&N high-flow air filter and a heat shield that installs into the previous air box space. Air is directed through an aerodynamically engineered intake tube into the engine’s throttle body for a guaranteed power gain. The tube accommodates the factory mass air sensor and several replacement silicone vent hoses. The oversized cone shaped air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is needed depending on driving conditions. This air intake is relatively easy to install usually in 90 minutes or less using existing factory mounting points. The tools needed are a couple of screwdrivers, vise grips and several wrenches. K&N 57 Series FIPK's are street legal in all 50 US states and come with K&N's Million Mile Limited Warranty.

It's nice to know that you don't have to spend an arm or a leg to get a little more out of your vehicle's. I get the best of both worlds more speed for less fuel. For every car or motorcycle I purchase it does not leave the showroom with out its filter. Not is it my household requirement. It's now the whole family's requirements. 21 cars in total and still growing.

Quality product - as always. Filter installed in less than 2 minutes. It fit perfect - as was expected. This is our 6th Toyota pickup to be fitted with a K&N aftermarket air filter. Took a while for CARB (California Air Resource Board) to approve the 2014 filters. But, worth the wait!

Increased HP and .5 to 1 mpg increase. One indirect problem. The air box on the Tundra sits on top of the main wiring harness. The K&N intake opens the space and makes for a nice nesting area for squirrels. Wire insulation is made with peanut and vegetable oils to prevent cracking, creating a magnet for squirrels, rats and mice. I had my 2011 Tundra 1 month before having it towed to Toyota. Wiring harness replacement was $5300.00. Solution is a pepper embedded electrical tape sold by Honda. I have all wires wrapped and no squirrel problem since.
