The K&N 57-6010 FIPK air intake system replaces the restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing in some Nissan Xterra and Frontier models. K&N intakes are designed to dramatically reduce intake restriction as they smooth and straighten air flow. This allows your engine to inhale a larger amount of air than the factory air filter assembly. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine’s RPM range. The 57-6010 air intake comes with a chrome topped K&N high-flow air filter and a heat shield that installs into the previous air box space. Air is directed through an aerodynamically engineered intake tube into the engine’s throttle body for a guaranteed power gain. The tube accommodates the factory mass air sensor, air temperature sensor and two vent lines. The oversized cone shaped air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is needed depending on driving conditions. This air intake is relatively easy to install usually in 90 minutes or less using existing factory mounting points. The tools needed are a screwdriver, pliers, a ratchet set and several wrenches. K&N 57 Series FIPK's are street legal in all 50 US states and come with K&N's Million Mile Limited Warranty.

I drive a 2002 Nissan Frontier with a supercharged 3.3 v6 I installed a 3 body lift and 5 suspension lift added a set of general grabber true 35 12.5 on 17 inch wheels Completely rebuilt the transmission.  I needed to replace my stock intake air cleaner which is very intricate and would no longer line up with the 3 body lift this intake kit not only fits perfectly with minimal trimming and re drilling a few holes.. it went in very easy even with the mods made to my truck.  I am extremely happy with the performance increase feels drives like it did before I put the oversized tires on it.

So I own a 2004 Frontier SVE, removed the O.E filter box with a KN PANEL FILTER and INSTALLED a 57-6010 FIPK. What a ride.  Furook, thats the trucks name, yeah I know - dont ask, had lots of go with just the supercharger, now its got gobs of power and torque.  So, then I buy the wife a Nissan Xtrail 2.5l dohc.  Washed the panel filter from Furook and installed it into the Xtrail as applications are same filter. Performance fuel econ, unless I throttle hard on the SC are great.

I install the KN oil filters too, top of the line product, the company I am a part of sells lots of these awesome filters.
