The K&N 57-6003 FIPK air intake system replaces the restrictive factory air filter and air box in some Nissan Sentra models. K&N intakes are designed to dramatically reduce intake restriction and improve air flow. This allows your engine to inhale a larger amount of air than the factory air filter assembly. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine’s RPM range. The 57-6003 air intake comes with a chrome topped K&N high-flow air filter that installs onto the factory mass air sensor within the previous air box space. Air is directed through the air filter and into the engine’s throttle body for a guaranteed power gain. The oversized cone shaped air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is needed depending on driving conditions. This air intake is relatively easy to install usually in 90 minutes and accommodates the factory crank case vent hose. The installation simply requires commonly available tools to do the job. K&N 57 Series FIPK's are street legal in all 50 US states and come with K&N's Million Mile Limited Warranty.

Within the last month I purchased a K&N air filter for my 2005 Nissan Sentra 1.8s. After hearing about K&N for a few years I decidied to try it. Before with a paper filter I was averaging around 30 mpg in city and 36 mpg on the highway driving. In the three weeks since installing the filter I have noticed an increase of about 3 mpg. There is also a noticable improvement in throttle response and the car idles and shifts at lower rpms. Awesome product, telling my whole family and all my friends.

I recently purchased 2 K&N air filters. I bought one for my 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan Sport and the other for my 1996 Nissan Sentra GXE. Both these vehicles have a little over 105,000 miles on them. These filters REALLY do make a huge difference in performance and gas mileage. I can tell you that as soon as I put the filters in and took the vehicles for a spin, I could feel the difference in acceleration and performance. It's almost as if the engine did not have to work so hard anymore. I have also noticed improved gas mileage by 2-3 mpg per vehicle. These filters are definitely worth the price. You NEVER have to replace them PLUS you end up saving money due to increased mileage. I would recommend them to anyone!

Testimonials 2002 Nissan Sentra SE-R
Thanks K&N, I have seen an 8hp improvement and 10.2lb/ft torque improvement over stock. I drag race at Rock Falls Raceway in EauClaire, WI, and I have seen a .25 second improvement. MPG gains have been 5-6, which is great, considering the tall gears the Sentra has.

Thanks,
