The K&N 57-3062 FIPK air intake system replaces the restrictive factory air filter and air intake. K&N intakes are designed to dramatically reduce intake restriction as they smooth and straighten air flow. This allows your engine to inhale a larger amount of air than the factory air filter assembly. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine’s RPM range. The 57-3062 air intake comes with a black rubber topped K&N high-flow air filter and a heat shield that installs into the previous air box space. Air is directed through an aerodynamically engineered intake tube into the engine’s throttle body for a guaranteed power gain. The tube accommodates the factory mass air sensor and air injection hose. The oversized cone shaped air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is needed depending on driving conditions. This air intake is relatively easy to install usually in 90 minutes or less using existing factory mounting points. The tools needed are a screwdriver, pliers, ratchet set and several wrenches. K&N 57 Series FIPK's are street legal in all 50 US states and come with K&N's Million Mile Limited Warranty.

I have a 1997 4.3 vortec chevy blazer 4x4 that i was lucky to get 15 mpg from. Since it DEFINITELY wouldnt hurt, i installed a stock replacement filter (i didnt go with the entire intake) and instantly i noticed a gain in low end power and now i average about 20 despite the engine not running quite right! I just installed one in my 2007 envoy 4.2 vortec 4x4 because i was getting 13.5mpg and im putting the intake on my 1997 gmc sierra 5.7 vortec 4x4 to wake it up a little and help the mpg's. TO THOSE WHO WONDER ABOUT THESE OR THINK THEY ARE B/S, THINK AGAIN. THEY WORK AND THEY WORK WELL AND ARE PERFECTLY COMPATABLE WITH YOUR VEHICLE AND YOUR VEHICLE CAN AND WILL BENEFIT FROM THE USE OF ONE OF THESE EXCELLENT AIR FILTERS!

I had put the 77 Air Intake kit on my dad's 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer EXT 4x4 4.2 L6 about three years ago and it still makes plenty of power compared to factory setting! The sound is just awesome! When you bury that pedal to the floor it just takes off and makes the most insane sound. I love that intake and I bet it got some more MPG`s to. So thanks K&N for making the best filters and intakes out there!

Dear K&N, I just installed your replacement air filter part # E-1009 for my 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer LT 4.2L L6.  I am seeing improvements in all aspects of the word.  I am accelerating better when passing cars, and getting better gas mileage especially when gas prices are creeping up on a national average of $3 a gallon for regular. Thanks K&N
