The K&N 57-3051 FIPK air intake system replaces the restrictive factory air filter and air intake. K&N intakes are designed to dramatically reduce intake restriction as they smooth and straighten air flow. This allows your engine to inhale a larger amount of air than the factory air filter assembly. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine’s RPM range. The 57-3051 air intake comes with a chrome topped K&N high-flow air filter and a heat shield that installs into the previous air box space. Air is directed through an aerodynamically engineered intake tube into the engine’s throttle body for a guaranteed power gain. The tube accommodates the factory crank case vent hose and a replacement silicone fuel pressure vacuum hose (on certain vehicles). The oversized cone shaped air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is needed depending on driving conditions. This air intake is relatively easy to install usually in 90 minutes or less using existing factory mounting points. The tools needed are a screwdriver, a ratchet set and several wrenches. K&N 57 Series FIPK's are street legal in all 50 US states and come with K&N's Million Mile Limited Warranty.

I just recently bought a 2005 GMC Canyon with a 3.5L I5. I had never even heard of a In Line 5 Cyl. engine before so I was not sure what to expect. Well to my suprise I was shocked at the performance of it. I went right out and bought a K&N filter yesterday and after installing it in the truck yesterday afternoon, WOW!!! This has made a HUGE difference! I can't wait to see what my gas mileage will do since my HP has increased ALOT. All I have to say is THANKS K&N for opening my eyes to the great world of accelaration! I will be buying one for my wifes car as well. GREAT JOB!

I just installed an 63 Series Aircharger Kit on my GMC Canyon, and its great. The sound is something else, and the midrange power is right there. The best thing is, there is a sweet spot in the gas peddle, and once you hit it, you can really hear and feel the difference.

You just got a customer for life.

Thanks

I just bought a new 2014 GMC Terrain and I did what I've done with the last eight new vehicles I've purchased I replaced the original factory air filter with a K&N filter. In every case, I've seen an improvement in fuel economy and an increase in horsepower. What's not to like about that?!
