The K&N 57-3039 FIPK air intake system replaces the restrictive factory air filter and air intake. K&N intakes are designed to dramatically reduce intake restriction as they smooth and straighten air flow. This allows your engine to inhale a larger amount of air than the factory air filter assembly. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine’s RPM range. The 57-3039 air intake comes with a chrome topped K&N high-flow air filter and a heat shield that installs into the previous air box space. Air is directed through an aerodynamically engineered intake tube into the engine’s throttle body for a guaranteed power gain. The tube accommodates the factory mass air sensor, air temperature sensor and crank case vent hose. The oversized oval shaped air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is needed depending on driving conditions. This air intake is relatively easy to install usually in 90 minutes or less using existing factory mounting points. The tools needed are a screwdriver, a ratchet set and several wrenches. K&N 57 Series FIPK's are street legal in all 50 US states and come with K&N's Million Mile Limited Warranty.

Customer Feedback

Dave McClelland was right - "Nothing gives you more horsepower for your dollar". I have a '93 GMC K1500 on which I recently mounted 33's (rather than the stock 29's, with a 350 TBI. It was absolutely gutless after the tire change, wouldn't climb grades without downshifting, and would run out of air over 3500. I had heard about K&N but was skeptical about the performance claims. I thought I should spend a pile of money on a chip or something. When I finally decided that Dave M. couldn't be wrong and sprung the few bucks for one of your filters, I was amazed. The truck has heaps of power, and doesn't shift anymore climbing the same grades (and we have some steep ones around here). I really notice the difference when passing. I can feel it in the back of my seat, in the throttle response, and I can see it in my lower fuel bills. In fact, I am so sold on this product, I got one for a friend's '01 Dodge today, and it really woke up that truck too. Why don't all vehicles come with a K&N from the factory?

Just want to say the best investment l ever made! After installing it on my 5.3 liter GMC Sierra, man the pickup power and the sound is awesome. Thanks again!!

Fair price and very fast delivery. Installation was very straight-forward on a brand new 2016 GMC Canyon V6, very easy and fast with no issues. Immediately noticed better throttle response and definitely more power/torque on acceleration. One word of caution...this intake will make a BIG difference in engine noise. You will definitely hear this thing roar from 2500RPM and upwards (with stock exhaust). For me, it's on the verge of being too loud, quite honestly, since part of getting the GMC versus the Chevy sibling is the extra sound insulation that GMC offers. I love the improvement in power and can tolerate the noise under acceleration, so it's great. Highly recommended.
