The K&N 57-3032 FIPK air intake system replaces the restrictive factory air filter and air intake. K&N intakes are designed to dramatically reduce intake restriction as they smooth and straighten air flow. This allows your engine to inhale a larger amount of air than the factory air filter assembly. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine’s RPM range. The 57-3032 air intake comes with a chrome topped K&N high-flow air filter and a heat shield that installs into the previous air box space. Air is directed past the factory mass air sensor and through an aerodynamically engineered intake tube into the engine’s throttle body for a guaranteed power gain. The oversized cone shaped air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is needed depending on driving conditions. This air intake is relatively easy to install usually in 90 minutes or less using existing factory mounting points. The tools needed are a screwdriver and a couple of wrenches. K&N 57 Series FIPK's are street legal in all 50 US states and come with K&N's Million Mile Limited Warranty.

I am a custom sportbike builder and have used K&N air and oil filters in all our builds/customer bikes. I know the benefits of using quality filters versus what is entry level. Recently I was talking to Johnny Jump of K&N about my 2001 Suburban 2500 with 496 big block I use for towing, and he said there was a FIPK kit available for it. A few days later parts arrived and with 20 minutes of time the kit was installed. Fits perfect, throttle response is quicker, and combined with a new free flow exhaust and engine management program I am getting a 2 MPG improvement. Starting at 10 MPG, that is 20% for me. Can't say enough about the product and its quality.

Great product and my 2009 GMC Sierra 1500 sounds great, faster throttle response and looks great under the hood. It took a few hours to install and easy to work with, minor drilling but over all easy to install for someone that doesn't mind getting their hands dirty. Highly recommended.

I purchased this for my 2012 GMC Acadia Denali with the 3.6 engine. Mileage improved a small amount and acceleration was a bit more crisp from a dead stop but more noticeable when accelerating while driving where speeds were around 40 MPH. Very noticeable when accelerating onto a freeway.
