The K&N 57-3028 FIPK air intake system replaces the restrictive factory air filter and air intake assembly. K&N intakes are designed to dramatically reduce intake restriction allowing your engine to inhale a larger amount of air than the factory air filter assembly. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine’s RPM range. The 57-3028 air intake comes with a large, round K&N embossed chrome-topped high-flow air filter that funnels air directly into the engine’s throttle body for a guaranteed power gain. The oversized air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is needed depending on driving conditions. This air intake is relatively easy to install usually in 90 minutes or less. The tools needed are a screwdriver and a 10 millimeter wrench. K&N 57 Series FIPK's are street legal in all 50 US states and come with K&N's Million Mile Limited Warranty.

Customer Feedback

Have used various K&N air filtration systems over the years. Had a drop in filter on my 98 Ford Taurus(3.0 V6)and FIPK kits on my 97 GMC Jimmy(4.3 V6) and 92 Saturn(DOHC I4). Currently I'm using the kit from the Saturn in my 2005 Hyundai Elantra(2.0 I4)and a drop in filter on my 97 Moto Guzzi California (1100 V-Twin). No complaints other than not having a dedicated kit for the Elantra but the Saturn kit modded easily to it. Fuel mileage increases all around and noticeable power increase on the Jimmy. Considering purchase of kit for the girlfriend's Accord...

K&N filter on GMC Sonoma

I have a 1998 GMC Sonoma that I bought about 7 months ago.  When I first started driving it I got about 18 MPG, since I bought a K&N filter 2 months ago I am now getting 21-22 MPG.  I think I am going to buy the intake kit soon.

KNFilters. 33-2042, GMC Sonoma

I bought a 03 Sonoma ZR2 Highrider in '04, 190 horse, 3-speed/OD, bells and whistles. While 0-60 felt doggish, I thought it was okay. I always, from the time I bought it, thought that the truck just needed a little something. I dreamt of a KN cold induction, but was quoted an installation estimate and balked. While in a local parts store I saw the filter only (no replacement induction parts). I took a chance and bought the filter. I continued to the quickie-lube, had them pop it in, as I was due for an OLF. We left the service station and pulled out into 70km posted speed limit road. I Couldn't Believe It !! Felt like a cars acceleration. I asked my wife, "Did you feel that?" She of course responded "no what". We ran a few errands, visited with some friends. Four beers later My wife became the driver. She didn't believe what I claimed as added pep. She drove home, we live 15 miles from any town. We have three stops on the way home. Every one of them was left with a couple of black rubber marks!! Wow!

So far the best 80 bucks (Canadian) I ever spent on my Baby. Thanks K&N
