The K&N 57-2530 FIPK air intake system replaces your vehicle’s restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing. K&N intakes are designed to dramatically reduce intake restriction as they smooth and straighten air flow. This allows your engine to inhale a larger amount of air than the factory air filter assembly. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine’s RPM range. The 57-2530 air intake comes with a K&N high-flow air filter and a heat shield that installs into the previous air box space. The placement allows air to be directed through an aerodynamically engineered intake tube into the engine’s throttle body for a guaranteed power gain. The tube accommodates the factory air temperature sensor and air filter restriction gauge. The oversized conical air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is needed depending on driving conditions. This air intake is relatively easy to install usually in 90 minutes or less using existing factory mounting points. The only tools needed are a screwdriver and several wrenches. K&N 57 Series FIPK's are street legal in all 50 US states and come with K&N's Million Mile Limited Warranty.

I could tell a huge difference after I put a k and n intake in my 2002 Ford f350 7.3 power stroke. Very happy with this purchase.

I've used k&n in the past and will always use k&n. I've used them on V6 engines which are my work trucks, my 4 wheelers and my biggest toys, my Diesel trucks. Every motor I install them on I feel more horsepower and better fuel economy, especially on my diesels. Ordering was the easiest. Every time I order ground delivery they say 5 to 7 business days. I've always got them less than 4 days. I will always recommend K&N.

Easy installation. Fuel increase was only .5 to 1 MPG with no real performance increase. 2001 Ford F250 4X4, stock 7.3L diesel. 6inch lift with 33 inch tires.

Improved fuel economy about 1mpg and boosted power somewhat as I pulled a 29' 5th wheel 7,000 miles across the country. In the long run it will be worth the cost.
