K&N Fuel Injection Performance Kits (FIPK®) contain a high flow K&N air filter with uniquely designed adapters. This creates a radius entry allowing the engine to ingest air with less restriction compared to the factory intake system. FIPK's are street legal in all 50 US states and come with K&N's Million Mile Limited Warranty. K&N air intake systems replace your vehicle's restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing. K&N intakes are designed to dramatically reduce intake restriction as they smooth and straighten air flow. More air means more usable power and acceleration for your car or truck. The filters on these kits are washable and reusable. Most of our intake kits are relatively easy to install using tools commonly available (see installation instructions).[MORE]

Customer Feedback      Be the first to review part 57-2500

In January of 2008 I purchased a K&N air filter for my 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis.  I admit I was skeptical that an filter would make any difference in performance or gas mileage.  Within three months, taking into account the difference between the original gas mileage and my increased gas mileage, the filter paid for itself.  Before I changed the filter to a K&N I would be lucky to get 14.5 mpg in town and 22.4 mpg on the highway.  With a 4.6L V8 I didn't expect much of an improvement.  To my surprise my I now get 17.4 mpg in the city and 27.5 mpg on the highway (confirmed on a recent trip from Kansas City to South Carolina).  Plus, I'm getting excellent performance from the car.  Needless to say I'm VERY pleased!!!  In May of 2008 I also replaced the paper filter in my wife’s 1995 Ford Escort wagon that has more than 150,000 mi..  Before I replaced the filter with a K&N filter I would get 19.5 mpg in town and maybe 24.5 mpg on the highway.  Now it gets you 21 mpg in town and 26 mpg on the highway, and it runs like it did when it was brand-new.  Why should anyone NOT get a K&N air filter?  Terrific Product!!!

I came to know about K&N thru media. Being a owner of a multi brand comprehensive automobile workshop, I requested for a demo piece, which they accepted by rushing it within a day. I first used in a Tata Indica and found an instant change in the performance and power in it. Having been satisfied with the product, I ordered it for my Ford Escort 1998 model and the result was same.

Having been fully satisfied, I approched K&N national distributor Methods at Bangalore to appoint me as their dealer.

Now, I am not only selling it suceesfully to my customers, but also started sending to far away places like Jaipur (Rajasthan, India).

I strongly and confidently recommend for all car and motorcycle users to buy and extend the life of your engine.

My K&N results

I own a 95 Mustang GT 5.0, I bought the FIPK (air intake) for it, WOW!!! What a difference, more power, better acceleration, slight mpg increase very pleased, so much so I bought the drop in filters for my 96 Chrysler Town and Country Minivan with the 3.8 v6, also my wife's 2002 Dodge Caravan with the 3.3 v6 both were amazing, better sounding, faster acceleration and better mpg, I also drive a 92 Ford Explorer XLT 4.0 v6 5 speed as an escort vehicle for modular homes. I honestly was getting 23 MPG with stock air filter driving over 1,000 miles a week. I bought the drop in filter to see if I could better my mileage, so I tested it for 1 month so far and I am SHOCKED. I am now getting 27.2 MPG in a Ford Explorer!!!!!!!! Anyone who owns an Explorer will tell you that 27 mpg is incredible, if not almost impossible, but it is true

Thank you so much for an amazing product that pays for itself, and has a 1 million mile warranty, finally a company that delivers on their claims..

I have tried "high performance" filters from other companies, you know the green ,blue, and the orange filters but they were nothing compared to the K&N.

A K&N customer for life!!
