The K&N 57-1559 FIPK air intake system replaces the restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing in some Jeep Liberty models. K&N intakes are designed to dramatically reduce intake restriction as they smooth and straighten air flow. This allows your engine to inhale a larger amount of air than the factory air filter assembly. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine’s RPM range. The 57-1559 air intake comes with a chrome topped K&N high-flow air filter and a heat shield that installs into the previous air box space. Air is directed through an aerodynamically engineered intake tube into the engine’s throttle body for a guaranteed power gain. The tube accommodates the air temperature sensor and crank case vent hose. The oversized cone shaped air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is needed depending on driving conditions. This air intake is relatively easy to install usually in 90 minutes or less using existing factory mounting points requiring commonly available tools to do the job. K&N 57 Series FIPK's are street legal in all 50 US states and come with K&N's Million Mile Limited Warranty.

Customer Feedback

Saw this product on a friend's Jeep Liberty. He couldn't say enough about it. More power, greater acceleration and better gas mileage. And the sound it makes when you kick it down. Took his word and ordered one. Took 90 minutes to install. Just like it says. Unbelievable Checked under the hood to make sure someone hadn't exchanged my six for an eight. The power, the sound, just like he described. Definitely worth the price. One last thought: your gas mileage will improve, unless you keep putting the pedal to the medal like I do. Oh that sound Happy Motoring.

I love your products! I purchase mine for my Scion FR-S, and I can say this is the best simple performance upgrade I ever made! I feel the difference in power right away. I even purchased another one for my Jeep Liberty! Great product, thank you!

2011 Jeep Liberty Renegade 3.7L, 4x4, trail rated has a real world city driving increase of about 1.6 mpg on the uphill / downhill area driven. Haven't taken it out on the freeway for a long trip yet but if the city driving is any indication, I would expect highway mpg to possibly increase by about 3+ mpg. Jeep KKs & JKs do not get good mileage because of the non-aerodynamic (flat) front end, low gearing and extra weight from under chassis skid plates so this is a pleasant surprise. Low end acceleration has a felt increase, especially from a standing start on a 5% or more uphill grade, without sacrificing the increased mileage. Because of the increased engine performance, the transmission shifts faster into the next higher gear and holds the gear longer under load. I would buy another K&N air filter for any vehicle I own.
