The K&N 57-1555 FIPK air intake system replaces the restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing in some Jeep Grand Cherokee models. K&N intakes are designed to dramatically reduce intake restriction as they smooth and straighten air flow. This allows your engine to inhale a larger amount of air than the factory air filter assembly. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine’s RPM range. The 57-1555 air intake comes with a chrome topped K&N high-flow air filter and a heat shield that installs into the previous air box space. Air is directed through an aerodynamically engineered intake tube into the engine’s throttle body for a guaranteed power gain. The tube accommodates the factory air temperature sensor and crank case vent hose. The oversized cone shaped air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is needed depending on driving conditions. This air intake is relatively easy to install usually in 90 minutes or less using existing factory mounting points. The tools needed are a screwdriver, a ratchet set and several wrenches. K&N 57 Series FIPK's are street legal in all 50 US states and come with K&N's Million Mile Limited Warranty.

Customer Feedback

My experience with the ordering process was great the selection process was easy and the shipment was made in a timely manner. I'm not so sure the actual filter will make as much difference in the driving experience as it has with our other vehicles. With our 2011 Fusion and 2006 Chrysler 300 there was a noticeable difference in performance and mileage, and with our 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee there was a big difference in performance (plus it sounds great), where there doesn't seem to be any difference in performance on our 2014 VW Passat TDI SEL and the mileage actually seems to be a little less at highway speeds. The actual filter fit is different too, where it is literally 1/2 the depth of the factory filter.

I have used this product for years on Vehicle air filters. I've also used it on a Late Model Stock Car with our race team. It always worked well under those adverse conditions. So, it works very well on normal street cars. I will be using the filter oil on a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and a 2015 Dodge RT Hemi Challenger. I'm confident that it will work well, from previous experiences with this product.

I've know K&N Filters since my days with a Stock Car Race Team. I was always the one to clean the filters for the air intake as well as the crankcase filters on the race car. I have used K&N Filters in various cars over the years. We have noticed that My Wife's 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee has a quicker throttle response and we have gained about .5MPG (average)just running around locally. We will be on a short trip with the Jeep this weekend and will get a better idea of how the Jeep responds. So far we are very pleased with the results on the Jeep.
