The K&N 57 Series FIPK 57-1544 air intake system replaces your vehicle’s restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing. K&N intakes are designed to dramatically reduce intake restriction as they smooth and straighten air flow. This allows your engine to inhale a larger amount of air than the factory air filter assembly. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine’s RPM range. The 57-1544 air intake comes with a chrome topped K&N high-flow air filter and a heat shield that installs into the previous air box space. The placement protects the air source from engine heat and allows air to be directed through an aerodynamically engineered intake tube into the engine’s throttle body for a guaranteed power gain. The oversized air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is needed depending on driving conditions. This air intake is relatively easy to install usually in 90 minutes or less using the existing factory mounting points, attaches to the crank case vent tube and requires only a screwdriver, a socket set and several wrenches. K&N 57 Series FIPK's are street legal in all 50 US states and come with K&N's Million Mile Limited Warranty.

Immediately noticed a change in my 2007 Chrysler 300, 3.5L. It gave it more of a growl. It pulls in alot more air now. Its acceleration increased pretty nicely, its 0-60 cut down by 2-3 seconds. It's quicker in response to the gas pedal, when the gears change it's smoother, the engine is happy! Almost makes me wanna get the full cold air intake now!

Picked up some extra HP and much better MPG. You can feel the power. It's a Dodge Dakota with a 360 Magnum. Las Vegas is hot in the summer so this intake helps to get cooler air to the throttle body. Cool air, better HP and MPG. Can't beat that. Even with the extra power I'm getting much better MPG. Thanks.

This was so simple and intuitive to install. Watched the online video for a Dodge Magnum and then put it in my Dodge Charger R/T 5.7L with absolutely no issues. I forgot to check how long it took but eaisly under 40 minutes ... in my garage, by myself at 10:30 at night with one shop light ... very easy. The change in the tone of the exhast note was imediately noticable. You can actually hear the engine breathing easier now. The change in excelleration off the line was imediately noticable. In retrospect, it was readily apparent how restrictive the factory intake was copmared to this performance intake.
