The K&N 57-1535 FIPK air intake system replaces the restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing in some Dodge Neon SRT-4 models. K&N intakes are designed to dramatically reduce intake restriction as they smooth and straighten air flow. This allows your engine to inhale a larger amount of air than the factory air filter assembly. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine’s RPM range. The 57-1535 air intake comes with an ultra-lightweight carbon fiber topped K&N high-flow air filter and a heat shield that installs into the previous air box space. Air is directed through an aerodynamically engineered intake tube into the engine’s throttle body for a guaranteed power gain. The tube accommodates the factory air temperature sensor, intake vent hose and crank case vent hose. The oversized cone shaped air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is needed depending on driving conditions. This air intake is relatively easy to install usually in 90 minutes or less using existing factory mounting points. The tools needed are a screwdriver, ratchet set and several wrenches. K&N 57 Series FIPK's are street legal in all 50 US states and come with K&N's Million Mile Limited Warranty.

Noticeable enhancement to vehicle power! Idling, Dodge Hemi smoothly cruises with ease and no throttle. Large air intake coupled with Dodges larger exhaust make the static losses small and drive the larger power gains...

This was so simple and intuitive to install. Watched the online video for a Dodge Magnum and then put it in my Dodge Charger R/T 5.7L with absolutely no issues. I forgot to check how long it took but eaisly under 40 minutes ... in my garage, by myself at 10:30 at night with one shop light ... very easy. The change in the tone of the exhast note was imediately noticable. You can actually hear the engine breathing easier now. The change in excelleration off the line was imediately noticable. In retrospect, it was readily apparent how restrictive the factory intake was copmared to this performance intake.

I was looking for a simple way to boost performance on my 2010 Dodge Challenger SE 3.5L. In addition, I wanted to do the work myself to learn more about my car. After speaking with a few people they mentioned a performance intake kit would be the perfect beginners project and a simple way to boost performance. After doing some research, I purchased the K&N intake kit. Coming from someone who has never worked on a car, the instructions were very simple and easy to follow. In about 90 minutes I had removed the stock air filter and replaced it with the K&N system without any issues. The boost in performance was immediately noticeable (I could feel the increase in responsiveness / acceleration and the engine had more of a growl to it.) My car is definitely even more fun to drive. Very satisfied with my purchase.
