This cold air intake is built very well and performs extremely well. The V6 in Jeep Liberty is very underpowered by todays standards. Installing this kit really woke up the engine A few days following, I added a performance exhaust and then a Jet performance chip. These 3 things combined are like night and day from where the engine performed initially. I must say that the KN cold air intake made the single most difference and should be the first upgrade for any enthusiast. I do this to each and every one of my vehicles I buy.

I just recently installed your 77 series intake kit on my 2009 Jeep Liberty Sport 4x4 and what a difference it has made. The 3.7 v6 had decent power but I got your kit because I heard your filters and performance kits gave great results.

This 77 series kit gave the engine new life to it and even though it was only 10hp, this kit helps the engine breath and perform much better. It didn't take me very long to install because I am working as an apprentice mechanic so it took about 40 minutes and it was worth the time! Also I was averaging 490km per tank and this kit brought it up to 540km per tank, which is not too bad for a Jeep.

My next mod is gonna be a lift kit and off road tires.

I have been using K&N filters on all of my vehicles since 1990! In fact, I put one of the flat panel replacement filters on my 3.7 Liter V-6  2004 Jeep Liberty in 2004 then switched it in 2007 (after 24,000 miles) (in the dealer parking lot!)to my 2007 Liberty V-6, then switched it April 12th, 2010 (after a total of 64,000 miles)(again in the dealer parking lot!) to my 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the  3.7 V-6! Both Libertys gained over a mile per gallon-I'll let you know how the Grand Cherokee does.
