The 57 Series Generation II air intake, also referred to as an FIPK®, is K&N's ultimate performance product. These performance intakes are designed to increase power by as much as 10%. 57 Series FIPK's are CARB exempt, street legal in all 50 US states, come with K&N's Million Mile Limited Warranty and are guaranteed to increase power. K&N air intake systems replace your vehicle's restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing. K&N intakes are designed to dramatically reduce intake restriction as they smooth and straighten air flow. This translates into more power and torque for your vehicle. The air filters on these kits are washable and reusable. Most of our air intake systems are easy to install using tools commonly available (see installation instructions). [MORE]

Product Reviews      Review part 57-1512

As a Neon entusiast, I did for a long time consider buying a used Icemann CAI, that are a true cold air intake. They are a bit hard to come by, so I made my own. To build a cai for a 1gn Neon is not easy, and the only place to put the filter, is under the battery. It gets dirty, and a dirty filters don't flow well. After many considerations, I bought the K&N kit. It's a very good quality part. Fit the bay really well and has the emblems molded in! The exit of the intake tube has exactly 55mm opening. Thats the perfect size of opening, and tells me that K&N has done their homework! Nice sound, good looking, solid.
