The K&N 57-1508 FIPK air intake system replaces the restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing in some Dodge Viper V10 models. K&N intakes are designed to dramatically reduce intake restriction as they smooth and straighten air flow. This allows your engine to inhale a larger amount of air than the factory air filter assembly. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine’s RPM range. The 57-1508 air intake comes with dual chrome topped K&N high-flow air filters housed within an ultra-lightweight carbon fiber heat shield box that installs into the previous air box space. Air is directed through the aerodynamically engineered intake tubes and into the engine’s throttle bodies for a guaranteed power gain. The air intake assembly accommodates the factory air temperature sensor, speed control hose and a replacement silicone vent hose. The oversized oval cone-shaped air filters can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is needed depending on driving conditions. K&N 57 Series FIPK's are street legal in all 50 US states and come with K&N's Million Mile Limited Warranty.

Customer Feedback

I have used this product for years on Vehicle air filters. I've also used it on a Late Model Stock Car with our race team. It always worked well under those adverse conditions. So, it works very well on normal street cars. I will be using the filter oil on a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and a 2015 Dodge RT Hemi Challenger. I'm confident that it will work well, from previous experiences with this product.

I have been familiar with K&N Filters for many years. Have used them in various cars I have owned. I was with a Stock Car Racing Team (Late Model)and we always used K&N Filters. I was responsible for cleaning the filters for the air intake and the crankcase after every race. So, I know how they work. I have noticed that putting a K&N Filter on My 2015 Dodge RT Hemi Challenger has made the throttle response quicker than it already was. Plus, the sound of the engine is even more awesome than before. My wife and I were out for a drive last weekend and there was a VW Sedan messing around going 35 in a 55MPH zone, when the coast was clear, I hit it, and about stood the Challenger on end. You should have heard my wife. :-) The car only has 1400 miles on it, and the dealership said I'd really notice a difference in the way the car responds. It's almost scary at times. According to the computer in the car we have gained 1.5 MPG Average since I installed the filter. I am averaging 27.5 MPG out of this Hemi V-8 on the recommended 89 octane gasoline.

Replaced the stock air filter on my 2001 Ford F150 with a K&N replacement filter. I noticed an immediate increase in responsiveness and from the first full tank an increase in my gas mileage. Since this is vehicle is used more around town the gas mileage is low but I increased by at about 2 MPG. Considering a standard air filter cost about $40 per replacement this will be a financial savings after two replacements. I typically replace the filter ever 8k miles since I do some dirt road travel, this will be an easy wash and reinstall. Highly recommend these filters, should have done this sooner. I have replaced the standard air filter on my 2014 Dodge Charger with the same results and will replace the filter on my daughters 2013 Ford Focus shortly.
