K&N 57i Series Induction Kits are specifically designed for each different vehicle and will free your car from the size restriction that comes with the factory air box. These economical kits can take a variety of different forms based on vehicle characteristics and available space under the hood. Each kit is designed to provide power throughout the RPM range. The extra surface area of these open-air air filters provide even more airflow at lower restriction than a K&N O/E replacement filter which is always limited to the size of the factory air box. The larger air filter also captures and holds more dirt increasing its service life before a cleaning is required (up to 100,000 miles). The filter is either directly attached to the engine carburetor or throttle body or indirectly through a tube assembly running from the filter to the engine. All adapters are made from high quality materials such as steel, aluminum, silicon or reinforced nylon to ensure long life. 57i Intakes are not legal for use in California and other US States adopting California emission standards.

Customer Feedback

I'm a bit surprised that in the testimonials and info re K&N filters that there is not much said about increases in fuel mileage?
Most comments and info relates to extra HP?
I've been using K&N filters for 18 years now and apart from the performance gains, my fuel milage increased quite substantially.
My N14 Nissan Pular (SR20DE motor) despite being told I could expect about 28-30 m/g,I consistently got 36 m/g in peak hour traffic going back and forward to work.
I traded that car (after 10.5 years) on my current car, a 2002 Nissan S15 200SX (Silvia) The Govenrment Fuel Consumption Guide and friends that also owned the same car, were acheiving only 27-28 m/g...over the eight years I've had my car, I have consistently got 31 m/g! Not a lot, but over the years...?
As for performance, a before and after dyno run showed an increase of 13kW ATW!!

I bought these for my 2015 Nissan 370Z Sport Model. Installed them last month and have been really pleased with their performance. Throttle response has been much better, smoother and more predictable. Engine doesn't seem to be straining and I even saw an increase in gas mileage. Not much, maybe 3 mpg's, but it's better than what it was. Thanks K&N, I'll be back for more of your great products.

Just installed today on my 2008 Nissan Maxima 3.5 SE. Definitely worth the investment. Instructions were easy to follow. Performance: Difference felt once at 2500 RPMs. Quiet on idle but once the CVT is above 3000, you really hear it open up Nice deep growl to it along with a quick response to acceleration Tiptronic shifting keeps the deep growl going as well . It is approved for my state, but keep in mind this isnt CARB exempt. Go 63 series if your state allows it. Worth the extra $$. Thank you K&N!
