Regardless of the angle or offset diameter of the air intake, there is probably a K&N Universal air filter for your equipment. All filters are constructed with ultra-strong molded pliable rubber flanges which absorb vibration and allow for secure attachment and can also be stretched for up to 1/16" (1.5mm) to fit in-between sizes. I've tried all the aftermarket oil filters for my Kawasaki ZRX1100 and found the KN-401 to be as good as the original Kawasaki unit. There are two rubber oil seals in the cartridge metal body that need to fit tightly around the oil pick up bolt (Kawasaki calls this part an oil filter valve). Only the K&N fits like the Kawasaki 16099-003 oil filter.
And another big plus is both O rings come with each K&N filter!

I recently tested a K&N MX XStream Air Filiter on one of my Team Babbitt’s Kawasaki engines. After having been a foam filter advocate for most of my career, I was quite surprised to find a noticeable improvement in throttle response and horsepower. The additional airflow that the MX XStream filter provided was immediately obvious.

Hi K&N
I have a Kawasaki KR150, it's a 2 stroke little beast machine with an awesome stock power but I just wanted to get more.Then I ordered one from one of your authorized dealer here, RU-0800 type,well it's way much bigger for my 28 carb, but you guys said that there's no problem installing a bigger ones instead which has advantages in a longer cleaning interval...the part arrived, installed the air filter, adjusted the jetting and it is awesome..gives much, a way much better throttle response and she accelerates like crazy.
K&N air filter..simply the best air filter in the world!!
