Fuel Economy on my 1992 Ford Econoline with a 5.0 V8 is up .5 miles per gallon. This will pay for itself in 6 months.

I recently bought a K&N air filter for my 1995 ford F150 4.9l straight 6.

The filter gave the truck much more power and throttle response, and I'm getting almost 3 MPG better than my old (paper) filter!

I recently purchased a 1996 F-150 with a 5.0L 302Ci V-8 4x4 from my dad. He had a K&N filter in the stock air box and lovingly cared for this truck. This truck has 132000+ miles on it and was having some pinging issues when using 89 octane going up hills. I thought maybe a sensor was bad. I took it in and had Ford plug it up to the computer. They said that it was fine and ran like a truck with 1/4th the amount of miles on it. They thought that maybe my air filter was dirty or that I had some water in a bad batch of gas. So I went down the street to the local performance shop and ordered up an FIPK (I was going to anyway). It took 20 minutes to install and I went from pinging up hills to no ping and noticed a great increase in power. Thanks for the great product and keep up the good work.
