Built for performance and show utilizing the highest quality components, the K&N 77 Series High-Flow Performance Air Intake is a free-flowing mandrel-bent aluminum tube induction system designed for Trucks and Sport Utility Vehicles. 77-Series air intakes come with a Million Mile Limited Warranty. K&N intake systems replace your vehicle's restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing. K&N intakes are designed to dramatically reduce intake restriction as they smooth and straighten air flow. This allows your vehicle's engine to inhale a larger amount of air than the OEM air filter assembly. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine's RPM range. The filters on these kits are washable and reusable. Most of our intake kits are relatively easy to install using tools commonly available (see installation instructions). Some 77 Series Air Intakes are not legal for use in California and other states adopting California emission standards while others are CARB exempt and 50 state legal. Product Reviews Review part 77-3058KP

I recently purchased an 08 Dodge Ram 1500 with the 4.7L engine. Everyone told me that it was a dog and there is nothing I can do to make it run better or increase mileage. Well, I dropped in a K&N filter and a (performance) muffler and I went from 17.5 mpg to 20.5 mpg. I love this product.
I just put one in an 01 GMC Sierra 1500 today and I can't wait to see what I get in return with this truck.

1999 GMC Sierra 1500 4.7L V8 4 speed auto ex-cab - This truck is my in-laws and I got him the replacement air filter about 1 1/2 years ago. I put it in for him. My father in law of course forgot to clean it. So I checked it last week. Opened the air box and from the top it looked new, clean. Now I lifted the filter out and it was black with dirt just hanging there. Now no dirt got past the filter at all. Not even very fine dust that you would expect on a paper filter in the same conditions. Now I don't know how many miles was on it. I'm guessing around 40,000 miles. Not only does your filter give this truck better fuel mileage, response , hp, & the last filer to buy for this truck, but it will with out a doubt stop everthing but clean air from getting through!!!

I just installed a K&N FIPK 2 into my 2004 GMC Sierra 1500 with the 5.3L V8 and from the moment I installed it made a huge difference wise. First of all, the performance was outstanding. You could feel the kick as soon as I went out for the first time. Man it moved great. Next was the appearance. It looked so good and freed up so much space in the engine compartment that I couldn’t believe it. I can now get to the bottom of the engine near the radiator without taking anything out. So far I am very pleased with this product and I am anxious to see what kind of fuel mileage that I get with this on. Also the sound of this thing is not bad at all. It actually is very quiet and will really only make noise when I get on it hard. Very pleased with all your products and please keep up the good job. This is the only product that I have seen that actually works and does not cost you an arm and a leg. Thank you again and keep up the good work.
