Built for performance and show utilizing the highest quality components, the K&N 77 Series High-Flow Performance Air Intake is a free-flowing mandrel-bent aluminum tube induction system designed for Trucks and Sport Utility Vehicles. 77-Series air intakes come with a Million Mile Limited Warranty. K&N intake systems replace your vehicle's restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing. K&N intakes are designed to dramatically reduce intake restriction as they smooth and straighten air flow. This allows your vehicle's engine to inhale a larger amount of air than the OEM air filter assembly. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine's RPM range. The filters on these kits are washable and reusable. Most of our intake kits are relatively easy to install using tools commonly available (see installation instructions). Some 77 Series Air Intakes are not legal for use in California and other states adopting California emission standards while others are CARB exempt and 50 state legal. Check the K&N catalog or website vehicle parts search for specific CARB status. [MORE]

Review part 77-1538KP
Installed a 77-1563KP on my 2011 Dodge Durango Citadel with Hemi. Has noticeable power increase and fuel mileage increase. Also the additional sound it makes under acceleration is great. Took approx. 30-40 mins to install. Love this product.

About a year ago, I installed a K&N cold air intake system on my 2000 Dodge Durango with the 4.7L V8. I told my wife it was for increased gas mileage, I really wanted to improve torque and HP. It took a little over an hour to install and we went for a test drive. I instantly noticed a difference in HP and torque and even the sound was more aggressive. The best part is that my wife liked the fact that I went from 17 on the highway to about 22 with cruise set. She now no longer doubts what I want to do with my vehicles because this was a great idea.
