K&N intake systems replace your vehicle's restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing. K&N intakes are designed to dramatically reduce intake restriction as they smooth and straighten air flow. This allows your vehicle's engine to inhale a larger amount of air than the OEM air filter assembly. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine's RPM range. The filters on these kits are washable and reusable. Most of our intake kits are relatively easy to install using tools commonly available (see installation instructions). Some 77 Series Air Intakes are not legal for use in California and other states adopting California emission standards while others are CARB exempt and 50 state legal. I purchased the 77 Series for my Dodge Ram 1500. Easy installation. The performance is out this world. More torque and horsepower and really increased the sound of my truck. The extra airflow makes aggressive sound. If you drive slower you will be able to see the fuel savings. GREAT PRODUCT!! I will tell my friends and everyone.

I want to thank K@N for everything. I ordered my air intake on May 7th around 7 p.m. cst time. K@N shipped my order the same night and I recieved it on May 13th. In the mean time I studied the install intructions several times. So tonight when it arrived it didn't take anytime (about 90 minutes) to install in in my 09 Dodge Ram 1500 with a 4.7 engine. The sound is magical, what a differance. I will write back after I have had some time to see if there is a fuel difference.

I received my K&N 77-1561KP Typhoon cold air induction for my my 2011 Ram 1500 last Friday. I am really pleaseed with it!! It really compliments the kat-back dual exhaust I installed a couple of months back, Even better sound!! Lots more power than when the truck was new. Well worth the money.
