Built for performance and show, the 69 Series Typhoon™ Air Intake System is a free-flowing mandrel-bent aluminum tube induction system designed to fit many sport compact performance vehicles. Typhoon intake tubes have a high quality finish that's made to last. K&N intake systems replace your vehicle's restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing. K&N intakes are designed to dramatically reduce intake restriction resulting in additional power and torque. All of them come with a Million Mile Limited Warranty and are guaranteed to increase horsepower. Some Typhoon Air Intakes are not legal for use in California and other states adopting California emission standards while others are CARB exempt and 50 state legal. Check the K&N catalog or website vehicle parts search for specific CARB status. [MORE]

Review part 69-7071TS
I own a 2003 Nissan 350z and dropped in a short ram K&N air intake and it gave me lots of power and it is also good on gas. I also noticed that it sounds way much better when I step on the peddle. It just makes me satistied that k&n can make an air filter and intake that will give performance to your car or truck. I recomend this to everybody!

Yesterday I switched out my (competitor air intake name removed) to the 69 Series Typhoon (CCA). I drive a 2004 Nismo Failady Z, and all I can say is WOW!!!!!! This system kicks A**! The throttle response is out of control, as is the quicker acceleration from a dead stop or at 70-100mph rolling on it. It also sounds cool. You can hear the air being forced into the intake (similar sound to a Turbo) as is the response (quick). This product was definitely made for the Nissan Z. We dyno'd it 3x today. It shows an increase or 13HP, 10WHP. I am now pushing over 400 at the motor and just under 400 at the wheels. After the Twin Turbo is installed, who knows where I'll be. I want to thank K&N for being loyal to their followers and continuing to produce the best street series parts that will rock your world.
P.S.
To any 350Z owners, this is a no brain-er. Get one, you WILL NOT BE SORRY. I do not like sharing my HP secrets but what the heck, this is worth sharing. Thanks K&N!!!!
Sincerely,
Michael Fitzgerald, Norco, California

I installed your cold air performance intake on my 2008 Nissan Titan with the 5.6 Liter flex fuel engine. The difference in performance was immediate. The engine was smoother, it felt more powerful and proved to be more economical. On a trip to Gulf Shores MS, I drove 429 miles at speeds around 70 mph and brought in 21.4 miles per gallon, the best the truck has ever given me. The city mileage increased by 1.5 but the travel mileage has been exceptional.
