K&N air intake systems replace your vehicle's restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing. K&N intakes are designed to dramatically reduce intake restriction as they smooth and straighten air flow. This allows your vehicle's engine to inhale a larger amount of air than the OEM air filter assembly. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine's RPM range. The filters on these kits are washable and reusable. Most of our intake kits are relatively easy to install using tools commonly available (see installation instructions). 63 Series Intakes are street legal in most states. Recently purchased a 2006 V6 4 Runner Sport Edition. Love the
truck but gas mileage and engine performance were just ok. I was getting
18.5 to 19.5 in town if I was careful. Just installed the K & N Air
Charger System. I'm not a great mechanic but still found it relatively
simple with your directions. It's hard for me to believe but gas mileage
has increased to 23.5 to 24 if I can keep my foot out of it. Love the
engine sound. Everything about the vehicle is smoother and with the price
of gas this will pay for itself in no time. The truck is quicker off the
start and pulls much harder all the way through the power band.
You guys claim an increase of 9.5 HP but the seat of my pants say your selling
yourself short. Love the product.

When I heard about K & N filters I was a bit skeptical. I first got my mechanic's opinion before making a purchase. Bottom line was that it cost $22 more initially than a standard Toyota air filter, but I was banking on the longevity of the filter to be a good investment. I usually drive my vehicles about 200,000 miles before a new purchase.
We just returned from a five state, 3,273 mile road trip. I drive a 2005 Toyota 4 Runner and never got over 20.9 MPG before my K & N install. On this trip I got up to 24.3 MPG, but never less than 22.5 MPG. Overall average was about 23.5 MPG. In effect the filter has already paid for itself, and I am confident that this will be the last filter I need to buy for this vehicle. Good for me and good for the environment.
My only regret? I didn't do this sooner. Any plans for the future? Yep! I'll be buying K & Ns for my other vehicles....

By living in the high desert valley of Las Vegas, NV., the environment can produce dust and contaminants that can clog a traditional air filter much sooner than it's scheduled service time. This is why I use your product. The K&N Air Filter that I use in my 2010 Toyota Venza is amazing! It was the first thing that I brought after I purchased it. The city/highway mpg rating for the car was 20/29. Now(according the info center on the vehicle)I average 24.8 miles per gallon in the city and 32 on the highway. Not only have I seen a marked improvement in my fuel mileage ratings per gallon, the 2.7 liter power-train has increased power and torque. If motorist do not realize how incredible this product is, they are missing something BIG!!! I have not used traditional filters in 8 year and I will never commit that sin to a vehicle again.
