A sister product to our 57 Series FIPK, our 63 Series AirCharger® Air Intake Systems are guaranteed to increase horsepower and come with a Million Mile Limited Warranty. K&N air intake systems replace your vehicle's restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing. K&N intakes are designed to dramatically reduce intake restriction as they smooth and straighten air flow. This allows your vehicle's engine to inhale a larger amount of air than the OEM air filter assembly. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine's RPM range. The filters on these kits are washable and reusable. Most of our intake kits are relatively easy to install using tools commonly available (see installation instructions). 63 Series Intakes are street legal in most states. Great air filters. I have bought two. Both vehicles have noticeable improvements in MPG and power.
2011 Ford Fiesta SES hatchback, automatic, 1600 CC 4 cylinder. This
vehicle has great MPG even before installing the K&N at 30 city/40 highway. My actual mileage, before the installing the K&N filter, was
about 32-33 City/42-43 Highway. AFTER installing the K&N air filter and driving about 500 miles, I noticed an uptick in my city MPG of about 2 additional MPG and in my highway MPG about 3 additional MPG.
The low end torque is better as is mid-range and highway cruising.
2009 Dodge Challenger R/T, 5.7L HEMI, automatic. This vehicles is equipped with a fuel saver mode which shuts down 4 of the 8 cylinders at highway speed, giving it a factory rated 19 city/25 highway. My
Challenger was doing about 20 city/27 highway before installing the
K&N air filter. With the K&N filter installed, my city MPG has jumped about 1 MPG and my highway MPG has jump by about 2 MPG. I also notice a slight increase in torque at all engine speeds.
I highly recommend K&N filters.
