K&N 57i Generation II Induction Kits are built primarily for European vehicles. They come with K&N's Million Mile Limited Warranty™. These intake kits use only non-metallic rotationally molded tubes that can reduce air temperature and decrease intake sound over a metal tube. Restriction can exist BETWEEN an air filter and the engine reducing the benefit of a K&N Air Filter alone. The weakest link in the airflow "chain" robs a vehicle of its natural horsepower. Often that weak point is the factory air path leading to the engine. K&N Air Intake Kits virtually eliminate air path restriction by replacing the air filter and the entire air path to the engine. The aerodynamically engineered tube drives a massive amount of air into an engine, which translates into POWER. 57i Intakes are not legal for use in California and other US States adopting California emission standards. Installed your typhoon kit on a 2008 Toyota Corolla, and what a difference it makes! The car is much peppier than it was stock, and I can go furthur on a tank of gas by about 80km!

I bought a K&N air filter a few months ago for our 1999 Toyota Corolla 1.8L F/I 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission. So what I did just lately was to check the air pressure in all the tires and I put new spark plugs in and I cleaned and reoiled the filter. I am now getting 31/35 MPG in the city and 45/50 MPG on the freeway. The power is very noticeable in passing other cars. And also going up a mountain road. K&N is truely the best air filter I have ever bought. I would recommend the K&N air filter to everyone I know. K&N IS THE WORLD'S BEST AIR FILTER
