K&N Fuel Injection Performance Kits (FIPK®) contain a high flow K&N air filter with uniquely designed adapters. This creates a radius entry allowing the engine to ingest air with less restriction compared to the factory intake system. FIPK's are street legal in all 50 US states and come with a Million Mile Limited Warranty. K&N air intake systems replace your vehicle's restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing. K&N intakes are designed to dramatically reduce intake restriction as they smooth and straighten air flow. More air means more usable power and acceleration for your car or truck. The filters on these kits are washable and reusable. Most of our intake kits are relatively easy to install using tools commonly available (see installation instructions). [MORE]

Product Reviews    Review part 57-5504-1

I used the same K&N drop-in filter on my 1990 Eagle Talon TSi AWD from 2002 to 2007, when I sold it.  The new owner of the car is still using the filter I purchased years ago.  I'm now using K&N air filters on my 1993 Mazda Miata, and my 1991 Mitsubishi Galant VR4.  It has made a night-and-day difference on the Miata, especially in low-end torque.  On the Galant, I now hit boost 200-300 RPM sooner, and I can definitely feel the difference in power.  Not only are K&N air filters proven to perform, they are also built to last.

Plus, K&N oil filters always have a nut welded on to the end of each filter.  As someone who changes my own oil, that's a godsend.

After two years of ridiculously hard riding, rev-limiter burnouts, and repeated wheelies we thought we had our 1200 Sportsters at their peak performance. After several referrals to change our Screamin' Eagle Performance Filters out for K&N Charger Intakes, we finally gave in. First impression was that the K&N Charger system looked very cool and added to the performance look of the bikes. We were worried that aside from its good looks the protruding tube and filter might get in the way of our riding maneuvers.

The installation was very simple and only required some very basic tools and very little mechanical knowledge. Everything fit perfectly and had great finishes that matched the bikes factory equipment.

After installation we noticed that the tube/filter does not protrude out from the motorcycle near as much as we thought and fits the profile of the bikes perfectly.

On the first ride we could tell an immediate difference in initial throttle response and torque off the line. Continuously pushing the motor at extreme temps through burnouts or into wheelies generally produced less and less throttle response/power as the bikes reached maximum operating temps with Screamin' Eagle intakes. The K&N Charger Intakes have eliminated those effects and power loss felt at max operating temp giving us longer intervals to perform our v-twin motorcycle exhibitions!

We ride and push our bikes beyond the limits that most riders will ever face on the road. Don't let inferior performance products keep you from enjoying the throttle response and power you deserve from your motorcycle! I know we won't...K&N for life!

I use your cold air intakes on my 1996 Bronco, a 1998 Eagle Talon and a 2005 Legacy GT wagon.

I'm dissapointed you don't offer an intake for my 2010 MX-5 2.0L. I'd love to replace the stock intake and eliminate the sound enhancement through the firewall! Unfortunately, MazdaSpeed doesn't offer an air intake either.
