The 57 Series Generation II air intake, also referred to as an FIPK®, is K&N's ultimate performance product. Dave McClelland was right - "Nothing gives you more horsepower for your dollar". I have a '93 GMC K1500 on which I recently mounted 33's (rather than the stock 29's, with a 350 TBI. It was absolutely gutless after the tire change, wouldn't climb grades without downshifting, and would run out of air over 3500. I had heard about K&N but was skeptical about the performance claims. I thought I should spend a pile of money on a chip or something. When I finally decided that Dave M. couldn't be wrong and sprung the few bucks for one of your filters, I was amazed. The truck has heaps of power, and doesn't shift anymore climbing the same grades (and we have some steep ones around here). I really notice the difference when passing. I can feel it in the back of my seat, in the throttle response, and I can see it in my lower fuel bills. In fact, I am so sold on this product, I got one for a friend's '01 Dodge today, and it really woke up that truck too. Why don't all vehicles come with a K&N from the factory?

Just purchased/installed the 63-3070 on my 2011 GMC Sierra Z60 HP 4X4 with the LS327 motor. I already love the unit, very noticeable performance gain, hoping my alredy pretty decent MPG get's even better.

Great job K & N, I did my homework and couldn't find any of your competitors that even came close to the value and perfomance numbers!!

I replaced the standard K&N box filter in my 2001 GMC Sierra C3 with the Cold Air Intake version (FIPK). It took me about an hour to install, (I'm not a mechanic). I immediately noticed a difference in the sound (under the hood)and performance. I have a trip computer in the vehicle and the mileage has also improved, about 2mpg on the highway. I can really feel the difference when I step on the accelerator. The engine fired right up and went through some adjustment (like the idle). I drove it for about an hour. The second time I started it up it seemed to improve even more. So far so good, I like this product.
