Bought a 2004 Hyundai Accent base factory. Bought the car used so it wasn't taken care of. Replaced all the plugs, wires, and fuel filter and jumped gas mileage from 19 to 24. After replacing the air filter with a K & N Filter gas mileage went to 32 MPG !! Changed the oil with synthetic with a K & N oil filter and got 37 MPG next tank !

Have installed K & N air filters on every vehicle ranging from the Hyundai, a 95 Camaro, 2003 Chevrolet Silverado and now a 97 Dodge Avenger. Waiting for the filter on the Avenger to come in, but know it will give performance and gas mileage that is unbelievable.
Found multiple people at auto part stores buying filters before - and told them the advantages of buying a K & N performance filter, and it changed their mind from the $ 6 paper junk filter.

Put an intake kit on my 4.7L Dodge Dakota many years ago. Immediately liked what I heard and felt. Picked up some better mileage too. My poor truck is long gone (RIP). Just got a new setup for my 2008 3.5L Avenger and installing it this weekend. I will let you know what I think after that.

Purchased the k&n drop in air filter for my new 2011 dodge avenger with the 3.6L engine. Dyno'd my car with both the stock air filter and the k&n air filter back to back... The results showed a 7 hp gain at 5400 rpm and a 7 lb/ft gain at 4000 rpm. The hype, to me, is now substantial. K&N filters alone can improve the performance of a vehicle.
