K&N 57i Series Induction Kits are specifically designed for each different vehicle and will free your car from the size restriction that comes with the factory air box. These economical kits can take a variety of different forms based on vehicle characteristics and available space under the hood. Each kit is designed to provide power throughout the RPM range. The extra surface area of these open-air air filters provide even more airflow at lower restriction than a K&N O/E replacement filter which is always limited to the size of the factory air box. The larger air filter also captures and holds more dirt increasing its service life before a cleaning is required (up to 100,000 miles). The filter is either directly attached to the engine carburetor or throttle body or indirectly through a tube assembly running from the filter to the engine. All adapters are made from high quality materials such as steel, aluminum, silicon or reinforced nylon to ensure long life. 57i Intakes are not legal for use in California and other US States adopting California emission standards. Night and Day I have a 1997 Land Rover Defender 90 and replaced the old dirty factory filter with a new KN filter and it works fantastic. Not only does the motor sound throatier, but the truck really breathes better pulling hills on the highway and comes off the line from a stop with a lot less effort. When I have been 4-Wheeling, I notice very little lag at high elevations and can now tap the gas pedal to get over obstacles much more easily.

Thank you for a superior product, I should have install a KN filter years ago.

I have just installed K&N 57i air filter system to my 1992 3.9 V8 Range Rover Classic. The motor has more poke to it when putting pedal to the floor, plus it looks very nice on the V8 motor. Recommend to any one reading these testimonials to fit one sooner than later, you will not be disappointed.

I purchased the 57i MPI Induction Kit for my 1998 Rover Mini. The sound is great and definitely sets my little Mini apart from the rest! With already 45mpg, I didn't buy this kit for the gas mileage, I knew the great products that K&N makes. Definitely more power on the Autobahn, barely getting to 140kph (84mph) before, I can now go 160kph (96mph) easy! Love the product! Thank you!
