Hey, you guys are great.. keep up the good work. I work at Advance Auto in Hampton and am an avid K&N seller. I installed a factory replacement on my Yj and there is a definite improvement over my previous 14 mpgs. Appreciate the million mile warranty too! That's always a great selling point. Like I said keep it up! I'll continue supporting K&N as much as I can!!

Do yourself a favor and just get one!
I happened to catch a filter sale and purchased the OEM replacement K&N air filter for my 2005 VW Jetta Wagon w/ 1.8L turbo.
I noticed not only a modest increase in MPG (2-4), but where I used to run 70mph at 3000rpm, the revs have dropped to 2600! The engine breaths SO much better now- I had noticed that when exiting the freeway previously, taking my foot off the gas caused a very noticable engine braking effect and loss of speed. Now with the K&N there is a smooth gliding transition to lower speeds. I also feel that my wagon accelerates better than with the stock air filter.
I'm definitely sold.
Thanks K&N!!

Hey Guys,

I installed a K&N Typhoon Kit on my 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer 2.0 L and had a drag race with my friend's same car. There was a one car distance from 30kms to 120 kms and a 2 car distance till 215 kms.
Plus the sound is amazing so my friend ordered it as well.
Moreover the installation is very easy and I did it in my house yard with simple tools.

What can I say besides Thank you K & N.

My Sunday fun machine is a single cylinder air cooled Yamaha 2 stroker, which was ported and polished and even has a chamber bolted on. This set up was good but it got better the moment I got your RC-1060 air filter fixed on the carb with a mild rejetting job. Now the bike is punching 1.4hp extra as measured on the dyno. Awesome, truly amazing to see the bike snort and swallow huge gobs of clean air!!!!

I was looking for an air filter for my 2005 Mitsubishi Pajero and the guy in one of your authorized dealers in Dubai, introduced to me the K&N filter. I am doing desert safari here in Dubai. Ever since I used the K&N filter, I was able to climb the highest desert dune in Dubai which I was not able to do so before. It gave my Pajero more power. Now whenever I drive I feel more confident. Thanks to K&N!

Hi, I have a 2001 Dodge Intrepid R/T, I bought a FIPK system (air intake) for it, man she really pulls on the higher end of the rpm range now, thanks a lot k and n.

I installed a K&N air filter after seeing a K&N display improving airflow using a stock filter VS a K&N filter. What took me 3/4 of a tank of gas to reach New Orleans now takes just less than 1/2 a tank in a 2001 Ford Windstar (Weighed down by product samples). The pickup and acceleration has improved dramatically. I'm sold, the K&N air filter gave me a better performing vehicle with an increased gas mileage.

Hello K&N,
I am ecstatic with your product, allow me to explain why.
I own a Tata sedan (Indigo LX TDi, October 2005, 70000kms)
After 65000+ kms, I found the car had given me a drop in performance - power and fuel efficiency.
Kumar, from Methods Automotive, is a friend who I have relied on for suggestions on performance tuning for my car. He helped me install your OEM Stock Replacement Filter.
The mileage in city has gone up from 14kmpl to 17kmpl, and on highways from 18kmpl to 24kmpl.
The power response has also gone up and the car is super smooth in power delivery.
WOW! Great product!
I plan to install it on my 12 year old TVS-Suzuki Shaolin bike (2 stroke, 140cc, September 1997)

I race a nitrous'd powered sand rail but due to limitations from my fiberglass body I had always ran a 3 filter. I recently changed to a K&N and I could not believe the difference. I went from not being able to pull more than 6,500 rpm.....now I have a 7,000 rpm pill in my MSD box because it just wants to keep pulling! Thanks for the cheap horsepower!

I have a 2005 Yamaha V Star 1100. The only engine modification is the center baffles have been taken out of the mufflers. The bike got 48 MPG. I installed a K&N filter in Feb. of '08. The throttle response was better right away, but the real kick was the MPG jumped to 57! Anything that adds better acceleration and 9 MPG has got to be working. Thanks K&N.

I just got done with my test ride after dropping your air filter into my 2001 YZF-R1. Wow! It's always been a strong machine, but it felt choked on the track at high RPM's. Now I can barely keep the front end down or the grin off my face! Great job K&N, thanks.

I have purchased 4 of your high flow filters and haven't been disappointed as of yet. I am an engineer by profession so being efficient is a forte' of mine both on the job and at home. I have never put one of my vehicles on a dyno, so I can't quote exact numbers. Now that being said I have noticed an improvement in mpg and throttle response in all of my vehicles that I installed a K&N filter on. I have picked up an average of 2 to 3 mpg. I also go a step further and recommend this to all that read this. Change all of your fluids to synthetic. I changed my oil, transmission and rear differential to synthetic for an additional 2 to 3 mpg. and then on my truck I installed a tounneau cover to get another 2mpg. in all I am getting 25mpg city/hwy on my 2004 Dodge Dakota and 28 hwy. Not bad considering the ratings were 19/22. Happy Motoring!!!!

K&N,

Over the years I have installed or worked with many of your products including air intake kits and filter cartidges.  Never have I been more pleased than with the unit I just installed on my 2008 VW R32.  The kit was not listed for my car on your website but I found one that I thought I could make work.  It was the 57i-9500.  There were two main modifications.  First, the heat shield had to be mounted in a slightly different way but the parts included were more than adequate for the job.  I did have to drill two new holes in the shield and I used a single self tapping screw at one point to fasten the shield in place that came from my supplies.  I also relocated one of the K&N supplied brackets but when all was said and done it was very factory looking and almost like it was designed to work that way.  I actually had a lot of parts left over that were not needed for my car.  The other modification was to relocate the cold air inlet/flexi-hose to the front fascia instead of under the car.  It actually rams the air into the flexi hose and works perfectly.  As for performance, the car responded very well to the mod.  Throttle response was amazing and if I didn't gain 30 horsepower I will eat my shirt.  The stock intake on my car was VERY restrictive.  Bottom line is that the kit worked great, installed well and was not even listed for my car.  You should redo this kit for the 2008 VW R32.  I will gladly share photos and instructions with you if you wish. I will be sharing this info with the R32 community on the web.  Thanks for an awesome product.

Sincerely,
Loyal Customer

I have a '98 Malibu that needed a replacement air filter.  I went inside my local auto parts store to purchase just a regular paper filter, but I saw your product demonstration.  After playing with it for about five minutes I decided to give your air filter a try.

As soon as I put it in there was a marked improvement in my start-up and acceleration.  It's weird saying that I love an air filter, but I can't describe it any other way.

I purchased a K&N replacement filter for my 2002 Saturn SL2 this spring mainly to get better gas mileage not a performance boost. There is a engine rebuilding shop next to ours and they highly recommended your product. My commute is a little different than most I have a 2,000 ft hill to travel up and down. My Saturn out of the box would get between 27 to 29 mpg on these trips. After installing your filter my gas mileage went up to 30 to 32 mpg and my combined highway mileage when up to about 35 mpg. Not bad for a car that has over 80,000 miles on it. Installation took about five minutes and fit my stock air filter box perfect. This car was rated new at 27mpg city and 35mpg highway. This was a very good investment. Thank you K&N.

Just installed K&N cold air intake 63 series on my Avy 08, and I must admit there is difference in the way she drives. A little kick is there but most of the engine roars like a true American V8. Thank K&N.

I bought the FIPK Gen II for my wife's '06 Mustang GT, simply because I love the snarl of low-restriction breathers. The 15 hp?  Yeah, OK, like I'm gonna really feel it, if it's even there. Funny thing is, my seat-of-the-pants meter really did pick it up, even through the hype of that terrific growl that always makes you THINK you're accelerating faster than you are. But that's not all. The Mustang has an on-board mpg gauge, and two days after installing, my practical-minded wife asked if it was possible that the FIPK could give the car better gas mileage.  To make a long story short, we have checked this out a couple of times, and on trips we have always gotten about 24 mpg on, we are now getting 26.5 mpg, driving the exact same way. And yes, that's the V-8, 300 hp GT model. And no, the old air filter was not clogged - it was in very good shape. I'm always cynical about manufacturer's claims, and maybe not all GTs will see this improvement, but the on-board computer doesn't lie. This FIPK will literally pay for itself in the next few years. I'm a satisfied customer!

I installed the FIPK for my 2000 Ford F-150 4x4. I am now getting 12 miles a gallon on average around town. I dont know what the truck was getting before that because I hadn't had the truck that long. It has made a huge difference in power!! It will move quick when I step on the gas.

Hi I have a 2006 Nissan Titan SE, 5.6 V8 engine crewcab with a open bed. My truck had 24,000 miles on it when I put the k&n air filter on. My gas rating and power has jumped up. It makes me feel good that I get 20 mpg on the road and 26 mpg on the highway and mine is also flexfuel too so I can e85.

I just recently sold my 1997 Ford Ranger 2.0 4cl manual that I had owned for 8 yrs. One of my first aftermarket purchases for that truck was a K&N factory replacement air filter. What a difference!! The truck actually had power after that filter was installed. Fuel mileage also went up considerably with a best of 26 MPG with an open bed. Also the truck had a rough idle with the stock filter that completely disappeared with the K&N. I put over 120,000 miles on the Ranger (a.k.a Blue) and only had to clean the filter twice. And I must say cleaning the filter was a lot easier than I expected.
Due to my satisifaction with the product I have purchased a K&N for my recently purchased 2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser. The PT has what I consider a dismal 22 mpg combined ( hey for a 4 banger I don't think that's great). I'm looking forward in seeing the increase in mpg with the K&N. That is if I can behave myself now and keep my foot out of it! I've already noticed an increase in acceleration, and a lot smoother idle. Also there was a slight lag in power when I passed cars with the AC on. That lag is no longer present and power production is smooth and uniterupted.

Awesome product, highly recommended.
Anyone thinking the cost of these filters is high, trust me when I say it is worth it. The cost of the filter is quickly recompensated in gas savings and filter replacements.

I have a '00 Explorer and the day I bought it, 2 1/2 years ago, I put the drop in K&N filter in it. I use my truck every single day. I work out of it, commute, road trip, offroad trail riding, mudding, towing everything from the jet ski to hauling my buddy's car back to town. You name it I've put my truck through it. It even sank halfway into a pond, didn't hydrolock the motor. So I think it's safe to say I use my truck a lot harder than your average driver. And with the K&N in it I can tell the difference from a regular paper filter. I don't know how it has affected my gas mileage because my truck is lifted with 31 mud terrains plus I recently put an after market exhaust on it. Today I realized that I had over 54,000 miles on the filter of extremely hard driving on it. I thought that I might have to get a new one with the abuse I've put it through but decided to try the filter recharger kit #99-5000. I had to use the cleaner twice but other than the usual wear and tear like the mesh being a little bent and the rubber being a little worn it looks almost brand new. K&N is awesome, thanks.

I've recently installed K&N air filters on three of my cars a 4.6L, a 3.4L and a 2.7L engines.  All three cars have shown an immediate improvement in lower engine temperature while running, quicker acceleration as well as at least 3-5 miles per gallon improvement.  The 4.6L has had an average of 4 mpg improvement.  The 3.4L SUV is constantly getting 20-23 mpg in city and highway driving, improved from a 15-16 mpg before.  The 2.7L Chrysler has gone up from 24 mpg city driving to a 27-29 mpg average.  AMAZING PERFORMANCE!!!!   Thank you K&N.

When I installed my K&N Air Filter onto my Honda XR125 I instantly noticed a difference both with the look as it looks miles better than the standard eyesore of a linkpipe and the performance, the increase in acceleration is amazing.
The only problem is that I had to use a universal cone filter but to be honest I think that it is just as good as a panel replacement.
Thanks and keep up the good work!

I have installed K&N panel air filters in 4 of my cars, from a 1.6L four cylinder to a 5.7L V8. In all cases the air filter alone resulted in at least 5% power gains as well as reduced fuel consumption by 5-10%. Impressive!!!

I recently purchased a Stock Replacement K&N air filter for my 2006 Suzuki SV650S motorcycle. I noticed improvement right away. The bike has a bit more pep and runs a bit smoother. The new K&N filter did not cause any check engine lights to glow and my bike DID NOT have to be re-mapped to accomodate the new filter. It was a great investment for my motorcycle.

I have a Honda Dio 2008 105cc 6.5bhp. When I installed k&n filters it rocked. It gave me quick pickup and mileage too so I must say that you must give a try to your vehicle. With a k&n filter its like magic when it's installed compared to any other filters that I have known. Now my bike accelerates with a smooth pickup. I am so happy to have a k&n filter installed in my bike.

I had purchased a replacement K&N filter for my 2004 Ford Ranger.  After a few months driving I noticed slightly better fuel economy.  Just recently I installed a K&N Cold Air Intake on my 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 (5.7 HEMI) and all my friends were amazed that the only thing that changed was the intake.  It purs during acceleration as well as having better throttle response and a considerable jump in fuel economy.  My fuel economy gauge stayed steady at 11.8mpg (combination of both highway and city) before the installation.  Now it has leveled off at 14.4mpg with the same driving habits (as well as combination of highway and city driving) that I had before.  It took awhile for me to get over the sound and to stop punching on the gas.

I have just installed K&N 57i air filter system to my 1992 3.9 V8 Range Rover Classic. The motor has more poke to it when putting pedal to the floor, plus it looks very nice on the V8 motor. Recommend to any one reading these testimonials to fit one sooner than later, you will not be disappointed.

Thank you K&N. I have a Tata Indica Xeta. It's a little lazy car so I got the header changed. Still I was losing horsepower. I have been a big fan of K&N. My bike and my old car had it. I checked in the market and did not find a filter that fits the need. So I got a universal filter shiped to India from the U.S. Now my car gets a lot of cool air, the motor doesn't get too heated up, and my header sounds like heaven to me. Thank you for making such a cool filter. Regards.

Love my K&N,  it was damaged by DHL in shipping and K&N took care of me. My friends told me that a engine programmer, throttle body spacer, and a K&N cold air induction was worth the money because of the power and the gas mileage increase. Everyone love the looks of the K&N but I love the power increase. Well I am glad I listened to my friends. Thanks K&N

I recently purchased the intake system for my 2003 Silverado 2500 HD with the 6.0L engine. I had used your drop in filters before on my other cars before and loved them but I am stunned with the difference the complete intake made in my truck. It really woke it up. Throttle response is very crisp now and the power is amazing. The one thing I wasn't expecting was the awesome sound that I also gained. I can not express enough the improvement your prodict made. It is quality made, easy to install, and does what it says it does. It was worth every penny. I only had wished I would have done this upgrade sooner. Thank you!

I have a 1940 Ford Coupe with a GM crate 350, offy manifold with (3) Rochester carbs.  I replaced the old paper filters for three K&N's and expected to be some difference.  But I wasnt expecting it to be such a noticeable difference.  The car has never run better.  It's smoother, quieter and has a noticeable power increase.  Thank you!

I drive a 1985 Nissan Sunny. Been using the stock paper filter for years, then I decided to change to K&N air filter. I'm using the screw on type of air filter on my carb. What I gotta say, better pickup and I like the sound produced when I rev the engine hard. Slight improvement in mileage but most importantly I know I'm using quality stuff and believe me K&N is no joke. Kinda expensive but this is one investment worth making and money well spent.
