Gentleman:
Here is a testimonial from another satisfied customer.

This is my third air filter that I have installed in my vehicles. On March 9th, I picked up my 2002 Toyota Tacoma V-6 and the first stop I made was at the local automotive store. This truck had four miles on the odometer when I installed a K&N filter. Why did I do it ? This is an excellent product and everything that is advertised about it is 100% true. I use the K&N oil filters too. A high quality product for the value.
Also, I am very impressed with the customer service department. If you have a technical question and write to them, you can expect a reply within 24 hours.
Keep up the great job and put out some new products. I will stand in line to buy K&N parts for my trucks and recommend them to all vehicle owners who appreciate good quality parts.

I recently purchased a K&N air filter for my 2001 Chevrolet Silverado Ext. Cab with the 5.3 Liter V8 Vortec. This is my first K&N Product, I have heard many good things about your products so I figured I would give it a try. After I replaced the stock air filter with the K&N I noticed an immediate change in the response of my truck (especially on the highway) also I have increased my total gas mileage per tank from 378 miles to 415 miles. I just wanted to praise you guys on an awesome product. I will have to try the intake system and oil filters next.

Thanks!

I just wanted to say thank you to the people at K&N for their sponsorship of truck and tractor pulling. I spoke with one of your representatives at the ATPA Winternationals in Fort Wayne, Indiana in January about a new air filter for my 1998 Chevy Blazer. Based on my discussion with that gentleman and seeing how your products improve the performance of my favorite truck and tractor pullers, I decided to purchase an air filter. My gas mileage improved immediately and I did notice a slight increase in power. Following my positive experience my father purchased an air filter for his 1998 Chevrolet truck. My best friend also purchased a filter for his 1999 Chevrolet Silverado. Overall, we are all pleased with this true "bolt-on" increase in power. I am by no means any type of mechanic, but it makes me feel good to be able to add performance to my vehicle. I had heard of your products in the past, but without the sponsorship of pulling, I would have never been pushed over the edge to purchase your products. Thank you!

I bought and installed your miracle filter. Why is it a miracle? Because it has changed my car into a completely different machine. It now has great acceleration and good power at high revolutions and under load. There are many admirers of your filters who have purchased them here in Russia. Thank you for such a great product.

Gentlemen,, I have been a K&N Filtercharger user for approximately 6 years now and I swear by these products. I have installed them in at least 5 different vehicles with different size motors and have always noticed a significant increase in both performance and gas mileage with them. This is a great product and I have recommended your products to each and every person I know and they in turn also now swear by your products.. Thank you and keep them coming.....

I wanted to tell you my experience with your air filter product. Recently, I watched the NHRA race in Pomona that was sponsored by your company. I saw a promo piece during that show about the K&N Filter line and was interested in the things mentioned in that story. I was talking with a friend at work the following Monday. He has a '96 Ford Thunderbird V8 with many enhancements. He told me he had been using your air filter products in his cars for a long time and showed me his slick home-made air intake system. He told me he was sold on your filter and recommended I try one. Next, I went on the 'web' to your site and learned more. I went to other sites and noticed that competitor's were saying things like, "... it's as good as a K&N," or "...it is very similar to a K&N." I realized that if they were comparing theirs to yours, it must make you the leader. I have a 1998 Mazda 626 V6 with 36K miles. I am very picky about the parts I use in my cars so I have been reluctant to replace parts that were not factory marked. This would be a big leap of faith for me. A few months ago I had a Mazda air filter replaced and I had them return the old one to me to see the level of contamination I was accumulating in that period. As I looked at the filter I noticed how poorly made it was. Never mind the paper filter portion, the whole thing was a sloppy piece of junk. This upset me because I was charged nearly $30 for it. So I went over to Trak Auto and looked at a few panel filters similar to the one I would need. I noticed it was a nice product. All the seams were tight and the quality was apparent. I ordered a 33-2157 (made in USA) filter and it arrived in a couple days. I picked it up and dropped it in. I have to admit, I didn't notice a major power jump but I know it's improved. The reason I know is because when I accelerated at a medium level in 'OD' gear, the car always seemed to want to down shift into 3rd immediately. It isn't doing that any more. It moves out steadily and briskly and will not downshift until I really push the pedal down. This is an improvement for me. I never felt this car should be so quick to jump down with medium pressure on the gas pedal. Now, it certainly saves gas and prevents the engine from loading up high RPM's for a routine acceleration. After driving awhile, I have noticed a bit more acceleration and more reaction at the higher end. In addition, I have realized a nice MPG jump on my combo commute (street/freeway) of 50 miles round trip. Previously, I would avg. 21 MPG if I was soft footed. Now I am getting 22.5 avg. with a heavier foot. I think I can get to 23 avg. if I go back to a soft foot. This was a KEY benefit for me. In my opinion, your product has exceeded your claims and that is rare today.

I want you to know that your support of racing on TV deserves notice ONLY if you have the products to warrant notice and I think you do. I am a supporter of auto product companies that support racing and racers. That was the 'hook' that got me to look twice at your company. But it was the product that made us friends. Keep up your research and support of the racing sports and motoring in general.

I recently purchased one of your air filters for my 98 Saturn Coupe. After I installed my air filter, I immediately took my car on the road. I felt a big difference right away, and my gas mileage improved a bit. I wasn't sure how well it was going to work because not many Saturn's have one. I am in the process of making my car fast, and your filter helped me out.

Now that I know how your filters function well, I will always recommend them to my friends. I hope that you continue to put out a good product that works well!

I was told of your fine products by a coworker in Houston, just before driving my 2000 Maxima from Houston to Las Vegas. My poor car was loaded to the gills, which raised the nose to less than optimum angle, not to mention the added weight. Check this (after installing a K&N air filter)...average speed 68 mph, cruise control on, best tank was 31.2 mpg; average for the 1487 mile trip was 28 mpg. Previous best was 29 mpg during break in. This will come into play, since premium here is more expensive than back in Texas. I really don't drive hard, so I can't honestly tell about performance though this car will easily outperform my father's 1999 I30. I did notice that the transmission did not repeatedly shift up and down when maintaining a climb, as it had done in the past. I used to have to disable overdrive to prevent the excessive shifting. Not any more!

I must get one of these for my wife's RX300!

Thank you,

I WOULD LIKE TO TELL YOU WHAT A BIG POWER JUMP YOUR FIPK SYSTEM HAS MADE FOR MY JEEP CHEROKEE. I DO A LOT OF OFF-ROADING AND MY LOW END POWER IS AMAZING PLUS THE TOP END. I HAVE A JEEP CLUB CALLED DAVE'S OFF-ROAD AND ALL MY FRIENDS ARE NOW GOING TO THE SAME SYSTEM FOR THEIR JEEPS. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK

Hello, I just purchased and installed a K&N air filter for my S-10 2.5 liter 4 cylinder engine. I had never heard of your products before as I am not into high performance autos (obviously as I own the S-10 4 cyl.). A co-worker recommended your products. My goal is to gain extended replacement intervals from the new filter. It seems like a good product. I also liked your web site having info and cross reference tables. I learned something!

Your web site confirmed my suspicions about air filter clogging. I have been changing air filters at about 10,000 miles for years even though the filter manufacturer states the filter I was installing was an "extended life filter. "I wish I had moved to your filters a few cars ago. Live and learn....

I have been a big fan of K & N since I started reading all the import car magazines and stuff and I gotta tell you guys I'm impressed. It seems like you focus on the product and the people, not how much you can rip somebody off (like some companies I know, but I won't say any names).

Thanks you,

To Whom It may Concern: I am proud to have one of your K&N Air Filters in my 2000 Chevrolet Silverado, I was very impressed with how much more power it has and it gets about 3 more miles per gallon than the stock air filter that came in the truck. Your FAQ pages make it very easy to maintain your products. Anything that performs like this is a joy to own. I also use your K&N Filters in my son's Yamaha YZ-125 Race Bike. What a difference it made in the performance of this bike. He thought I modified the engine the first time he rode it after I installed it on the bike and didn't tell him until after he rode it. Keep up the good work. Your very well satisfied customer.

I would really like to thank everyone at K&N, I just installed a fuel injection performance kit on my 1990 Ford Bronco. All I did was start it and I could tell a very big improvement. I drove my Bronco a few miles and it is a whole different automobile. I will tell everyone I know to buy K&N filters, they are the best hands down. I just want to thank everyone at K&N, these products are for real, they work as good as the name really is.

I installed a K&N replacement filter in my 1999 Oldsmobile Intrigue w/ 3.8L V-6 and was amazed at the difference in throttle response and power especially at higher rpms. I just turned it in with 43,000. I just picked up my new 2002 Saturn L300 and was pleased that my local parts store stocked a filter for it! My son also installed a replacement filter in his 2000 Trans Am and it too benefits from better response and power. Great filters!

I changed the filter on my 1997 Saab 900 Turbo to a K+N filter. The car already had an uprated ECU (220hp from 185hp). It has really made a difference to the performance. The peak power is slightly improved but the throttle response is dramatically quicker. I think I am seeing slightly better MPG as well.

Recently I was at the local auto parts store to buy a new air filter which I needed to complete my scheduled maintenance on my 1986 Chevy 1500. When looking for a filter I saw they had a K&N air filter in stock to fit my truck. I was skeptical to purchase the K&N at first but decided to give it a try. What could I lose? The 305 motor had 185,000 miles on it at the time and was getting pretty tired, so much so that I could barely scratch the open differential around a right hand turn. Don't get me wrong, I am welder and don't "race" around in my truck but I certainly am one to appreciate some performance. After installing my K&N Filter on my truck I was amazed by the difference in acceleration and torque of my small cubic inch motor. It was like night and day! Not to mention a noticeable mileage increase. All I can say is I am no longer skeptical about K&N filters. THESE FILTERS ARE ALL THEY ARE SAID TO BE AND MORE! Thank you K&N for making such a wonderful product.

PS: Not only does the tire spin freely around those right handers, I get bellowing clouds of smoke.

Just writing to say I'm a K&N filter user for 6 years and I love them, I use them for garden tractor pulling, I got tired of replacing the paper filters so I then bought 4 K&N Filters in 1994 and I clean them 4 times in a year. I average over 16 pulls a year. Thank you for a great product.

I bought a K&N air filter for my car last year. It was the best investment I ever made. I could tell a big difference in performance. I told all my friends about your product. Soon I'm going to get the oil filter you make 4 my car. I'm not ever going to get another air filter again unless it's a K&N filter.

I recently installed a K&N replacement air filter on my 2001 Toyota Tundra (V8). I was anxious to try it out so my family and I took a trip not too far from town. After coming back (on one tank of gas), I refueled to calculate the exact amount of gas used by the vehicle, and then calculated my gas mileage. To my amazement I achieved a fuel economy of 22 mpg on the highway! I still had gas in the tank which would have left me at over 550 miles to a full tank. This mileage is unheard of in a V8 pickup truck. Thank you for helping me take my vehicle to the next level in economy and performance.

AWESOME AIR FILTERS - I've been reading the testimonials on this page and it warms my heart to see that people are seeing the benefits of K&N! I'm 28 years old and my dad and I have been using your products for over 20 years. I have told my friends to buy your products for years. It usually cracks them up because they think I'm a salesman. But when you believe in a product the way I do about yours I can't help but praise it!! My list of vehicles that I have had is too large to get into let's just say I have had over 14 vehicles from motorcycles and ATV's to cars and trucks. Currently my 1972 Chevy 4x4 pickup is equipped with one as well as my 1996 Chevy Tahoe 4x4. I recently put the K&N " FIPK " in the Tahoe but my first impressions with my right foot were as expected from a long time user of your product.

Secondly I have to ask, "Why would anyone settle for anything less than a K&N?" Even if you are replacing your stock air filter. Why buy anymore air filters when you can buy one K&N and probably never have to replace it? As long as you take proper care of it of course!!!

THANKS!!!

Just want to say that you guys have a great product, that gives amazing results. We have two cars and both have the filters in them. In the beginning I was sort of skeptical about it, but after driving a vehicle with one in it and comparing the performance and fuel economy to a similar vehicle with a stock filter, you knew there was something different about the car with the K&N filter. That same day I went to pick one up for my own personal vehicle and dropped it in the next day and I've never looked back. The day my dad got his new car we went to the parts place to order one to go into his car. So we thought we should do some tests since it would be a couple of days before it would arrive. So we took it onto the highway, and took it up to about 120kph and the engine sounded like it was really struggling and it felt like it as well. Then we dropped the filter in, took it back onto the highway, got it up to the same speed and you could actually feel and hear the difference, there was a lot more power and the engine was smooth and quiet.

Thanks K&N for this great product

UPDATE: Actually I just installed a filter in my uncle's 97 Bonneville 2 days ago and he said he's noticed an improvement in the performance, so that's one more happy customer to add to the list, and I got another uncle that has a FIPK for his car and a Filtercharger for his wife's car coming in on Friday, so I'll be busy this weekend!

Thanks again for an exceptional and proven product!

I wanted to share this with skeptics, performance junkies and those who want to save the earth. After recently buying another Jeep Cherokee 4.0L I knew that I needed to begin building it to suit me. I had tried other filtration systems with my old Cherokee so when I purchased this one I figured I would try your FIPK. Since the others that I tried all used K&N filters I figured your kit would work best. Here were the parameters for the test, I'm finishing my PhD so I figured I'd try to apply my knowledge with experiments; temperature 30-35 degrees, tires(215/70/15 radials) inflated cold @35PSI, humidity was around 40%, and i used 93 octane gas from Mobile. The route was a rough loop by my house with highway driving as well as steep mountain grades and curvy roads so speed was between 0-65MPH with most of it at 45-55MPH and acceleration was done in at half-throttle running all stock equipment except when the new FIPK was installed. Without the filter I traveled 136.5 miles using 6.067 gallons. With the FIPK I traveled 121.9 miles using 4.401 gallons. I judged the amount of fuel by filling until the gas flowed out, hey its for science. When you do the math it comes out to be a 23% increase in fuel economy. The down side is that you'll be on the gas accelerating harder than normal with your new found power so perhaps you won't get the MPG increase. Unfortunately I didn't dyno w and w/o the filter because it's too costly. Great product!

I wanted to share this with everyone. I have always believed in K&N filters as an excellent filter for off road. Now I worship them. We took my wife's 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4x4 on a 2200 mile trip to New Mexico last week. This vehicle consistently got 18 miles per gallon best case on the highway. Its a 4.7 liter V8 bone stock other than the factory options. I normally drive the posted speed limit (70 and 75 in N.Mex.). The new K&N filter I bought paid for itself very quickly. On one leg of the trip I hit 24.7 miles per gallon at 75mph. I thought the computer in the Jeep had gone whacko. At the next fuel stop I did the calculation myself. I hit 23.9mpg (had a few hills to go up). The jeep would go up and down these hills like they were not there, with the cruise control on ! My 98 Chev Z71 4x4 has the K&N filter and induction system. I think the old Dodge 4x4 will be next. If you need to convince a customer how good these filters work give them my e-mail I'll give them the facts. Thanks for providing products like K&N.

I had an interesting incident last weekend, that I thought warranted a letter to you.

I was traveling uphill along Hwy 26, approaching Mt. Hood. I was pulling a 24' trailer full of wood we had just cut, behind my 1996 Chevy Tahoe. It rained all day. Shortly after heading for home, it got dark, and the temperature quickly dropped to just below freezing. Naturally several slick spots emerged out of nowhere.

To our shock, the trailer started to jackknife in the direction of downhill, oncoming traffic. We needed immediate power to regain control of the trailer. Thanks to your K&N Filtercharger ® kit, I knew I had the necessary power to save the day. I have driven that route before the upgrade to my vehicle, and the difference was incredible. Had I not have installed your product into my vehicle, I know the resulting accident would have been catastrophic.

I wanted to personally thank you folks for your good work!

Sincerely yours,

I installed a K&N OEM filter in my 96 Honda Civic and I then took a trip to Washington DC. My car holds 12 gallons of gas. I usually get about 340 miles on a full tank for highway trips. That comes out to 28.3 mile to a gallon. Well I drove to DC which is 302 miles from my house in NY and another 60 miles after that on the same tank of gas. And when I pulled over and filled up, because I will literally drive until my car starts sputtering, I only had to put under 10 1/2 gallons of gas in my car. I had gotten 34.5 miles a gallon! If I had kept going, I could have easily gone 400 miles on one tank!

I just wanted to say thanks and keep up the good work! You guys make a great product.

I recently installed a set of K&Ns on my '71 Porsche 911T. The throttle response is great and I love the "suckin" sound that these filters give on my twin carbs - - it sounds like there is no filter at all !! I'm not so interested in the mileage on this vehicle, but am with my others. I will be installing FIPK units on my '00 Grand Cherokee, and '01 Suburban soon. I can't wait to romp on those V8s with a K&N setup!!

Sirs,
I bought a K and N filter intake system for my 1996 Ford Bronco. I have to admit I really did not expect all the stated benefits. Wow was I wrong!!! The acceleration, power and sound are incredible. The intake filter system does all and more than you state! I love it. I now have one for my wife's PT cruiser. Thank you for the truth in advertising.

Follow up: By the way, my wife's PT had the K and N put in today 11-14-01. I am utterly amazed at the difference in that little 4 cylinder engine. The vehicle also shifts better! The throttle response is un-believable. You guys are for real. no hype just the facts...

FIPK, WOW!!

Hey, this is Chad (I'm using my moms email) writing to tell you how well your FIPK worked in my 96 Ford Explorer. I'm 16 years old, and have just entered the car scene. I always thought of my hand-me-down car from my dad as a dog, a slow, heavy "utility" vehicle, with nothing but "Soccer Mom" written all over it. But then again, I needed something with roof racks for my surfboards, and a trailer hitch for carting around my flats skiff. It seemed like the perfect ride until I started reading hot rod magazine, and listening to kids at school talk about their 5.0 Mustangs. Not that I'm into drag racing, but come on, who's going to be impressed by an Explorer with a 4.0 liter v6?

Well, that all changed on Halloween, when after days of debating, ordering, and waiting, I finally got the call from my local Topper Town saying that my FIPK was in. I picked it up, zipped home, and had it on in about 45 minutes, learning a lot along the way thanks to the detailed instructions. The difference was instant, as soon as I started the truck I could hear the suction, and out on the road I was awestruck when that thing started suckin' like a Holley 4 barrel carb, complete with the noise and everything. Now I've always had a passion for cars, but seeing what a difference your kit made and realizing the actual potential of my car has gotten me pretty stoked. I've started learning it inside and out, having successfully installed a trailer hitch, wiring the lights for it, a billet grille, bug deflector, my roof racks, fog lights, and your FIPK all by myself in the past month or so.

So I guess I'd like to thank you for not only increasing my horsepower(12 or so) and gas mileage(3-4mpg), but for starting me down a path to enjoying cars for likely the rest of my life.

Aloha, Chad

Gentlemen,
I usually don't respond to manufactures about how good a product is or isn't, but I had to write you about this. My 17 year old son had previously ordered a FIPK for his '94 Toyota 4Runner and we've been so impressed with his mileage and power improvement I had to have one for my "Z". I ordered a FIPK for my '90 Nissan 300ZX. I just had to comment about the technical instructions and the fit-up of the kit. The detailed instructions are "EXCELLENT"! I have never installed anything automotive with the ease of this kit. My son said it was the same way with the one for the 4Runner. Of course it's too early to tell about the mileage improvement but the power and sound of the engine is already evident. Please pass this on to your tech center guys because the attention to detail is very apparent. I am so impressed with this product I will not only install it on all my future vehicles but have already mentioned it to several of my friends and co-workers. The only thing I don't understand is why ALL new vehicles don't use your products fresh from the factory, WOW, how great would that be??

Thanks for marketing such a great product,

I'm Impressed!!!
I recently was convinced by my brother to buy a K & N Air filter for my 2000 Ford Mustang and I put it to the test. I was soooooo impressed on the improvement of gas mileage I had gained since I replaced the filter. My car feels brand new again!! I'm so impressed that I have been spreading the word to friends and family telling them they need to invest in K & N products for their vehicles. I'm already looking at what else I can put in my car from ya'll!!

My brother recommended the K & N Filter. I told him he must be joking. So to prove how good it was he took me out on a drive in his truck ( '91 Explorer ). I was in that truck before and it was a dog. I was surprised on the performance and even drove it myself to feel the response. I was not disappointed. Before returning home I told him to stop at the auto parts store to get myself a K & N filter. I put it in my '82 S-10 with a 2.8 engine. I was amazed on how good it felt. I was finally able to burn rubber. Not only that, but the uphills would slow me down, they don't anymore. This filter is really cool and since I was still in school when I tried it I recommended it to all my friends and even did what my brother did to me. I took them out on the ride of their life and now they are doing the same. You guys are great coming out with such an invention. Thanks.

I own a 2001 Toyota Tundra V8/4X4 with about 1200 miles on it. I replaced my stock air filter with a K&N. I took a short trip of about 125 miles today. I calculate the mileage will be improved by about one extra mile per gallon, plus the throttle response seems to be better even though I do not have a heavy foot. My new K&N filter improved a truck that seemingly didn't need any improvements.

Hello to everyone at K&N,

This summer I bought a K&N air filter for my brand new 2001 Jeep wrangler. It was the first addition I added to my Jeep. The first time I drove it with the your filter in, I was so impressed. I had to get used to the timing all over again. It seemed like I was driving an all new Jeep, it had so much more pick up. I felt so satisfied with my purchase. I told everyone I know about it, I swear by K&N now and I always will. I did my home work because I wanted the best for my Jeep, and I definitely made the right choice. All other products you guys make are for certain going in my Jeep and vehicles to come. Also I just went out and bought the cleaner set, I intend to take good care of my filter and I'm sure it will take care of me. I'm a consumer of K&N for life. Once again thanks for making a great quality product.

Sincerely,

One word, WOW! I recently installed the K&N FIPK on my 1998 Jeep Cherokee Sport, and what a difference. I would never have believed that a simple 45 minute conversion could give me the added horses, torque, throttle response, and best of all, increased gas mileage. I am now a firm believer in your product, and will be informing the other members of the car club. Thanks for your dedication to the motoring public. One car down and three to go at my home.

Sirs;
I have never written to any company and told them that their product's either good nor bad. Yesterday I received my new FIPK Gen. II for my 2001 Tahoe 5.3 vortec and installed it post haste. I have always run K&N filters on just about every thing that I have owned. This morning I put about 150 quick miles on it to see how it would pan out and I must say it adds much more power than I had expected. I have worked on airplanes all of my life and I'm impressed with how well the kit fits and it's ease of installation. I have found that, that is not the norm in the automotive world. I would like to give you some well deserved Kudos' for the kit.

Thank you

Just wanted to drop a line to say that my K&N air filter for my '98 Ford Ranger with the 4.0 liter engine has noticeably improved my horse power and has improved my mpg by two giving me an extra 30 miles on a tank of fuel.

Thanks!

Now, where do I get one for my boat?

K&N Filters on a Saturn - I own a 92 Saturn SL1 with 140,000 plus miles on it. It has always been a freeway driver averaging about 34-35 MPG. 38 MPG has been the most on long 200+ mile trips when the car was new. I recently drove up to Reno, Nevada from the Bay Area and was astounded at my next fill up. It averaged 46 MPG!!! The car feels like it has as much power or more than when I first bought it. 46 MPG, I am amazed. Every car I get from now on will have K&N filters.

I just replaced my stock paper filter today in my Firebird 2.8L V6 and the whole thing took me less than 10 minutes. Then I took the car out for a test drive and immediately I could feel the power from as little as 2000 RPM to 6500 RPM. This was awesome! I was even able to do a little burnout with my car that I was never able to before! You make some great stuff! Worth the 32 dollars I paid for it! Catch you later

I drive a 2000 Mazda Protege SE with 1.8litre engine. At 30,000km I installed a K&N Filtercharger. The car immediately had more power, I thought wow this is great! After a couple of fill ups I checked the fuel consumption and noted a little less than 15% improvement in km per litre. Why isn't K&N standard equipment on new cars?

I own a 1996 Dodge Ram Sport with the 5.9L 360 in it. I have had your Generation 2 kit installed now for a little over 6 months and I am very happy with the results. I am a do-it-yourselfer and it was very easy to install and once installed I could immediately feel the gain in ponies that this kit provided. I just want to say thank you for your dedication to quality and performance.

I have just completed my second round trip from Edmonton (Canada) to Vancouver Island (Canada), on my first trip two years ago I got an average of 34 miles / gallon with the standard BMW air filter, same car (1995 BMW 325iS) this trip I got up to 41.5 on one leg for an average of 38.27 miles/ gallon with your filter, in both cases I kept to the published speed limits. Thank you for a great product at a very reasonable price, not only am I saving Gas, I get the benefit of never having to replace the filter.

I just installed a K&N filter in my 1995 Chevrolet Blazer. I have used the products on motorcycles and knew they worked there, but wasn't sure I would see much change in a car. I can't believe the improvement and just to make sure it wasn't all in my mind, I let my wife (who is very skeptical) drive the Blazer. She could not believe the improvement either. Easier starts, smoother and quieter running, more power and acceleration. She has me going out today to buy one for her 1999 Camry. Great product, I'm now a lifetime K&N believer.

I have a ' 91 Ford Explorer with a 4.0 engine. I did not believe these filters would make any difference. I guess I was proven wrong after installing my K & N filter. I noticed more power as soon as I took it out of my driveway. This is a great filter; worth every penny. Before I towed jet skis and noticed a lag and too much downshifting on up hills. Now it is a piece of cake. I also got more miles on a full tank (don't know exact amount). This is a great investment. I now recommend it to all my friends. Thanks K & N.

Gentlemen:
I just replaced my factory air filter with a K & N Air Filter on my VW Passat GLX VR6. I now find myself saying is this the same car? I can't believe how much more power there seems to be across the RPM range as well as the fact that this thing really revs-up a lot quicker. My advice to anyone who is considering a K & N replacement air filter for a Fuel injected engine is to DO it now. You've already waited too long. These filters are worth every penny. As a matter of fact, I just ordered one for my Land Rover. I already use K & N Oil filters on both of these vehicles..

You guys have a great product here!

I'd just like to say I love my new Typhoon Intake System. I noticed there were quite a few intake systems on the market. However, I had friends, as well as, mechanics telling me to go with K&N products. I must say I'm not disappointed in the least. The installation instructions you provided were great. I had it installed in about 30 minutes. I immediately noticed the difference in the throttle. My '93 Accord is much more responsive and there's a noticeable increase in horsepower. I also love the sound the intake system makes. I know that it's supposed to increase fuel economy but I certainly don't know how considering the fact it makes the car much more fun to drive. I've included some pics of the intake system in my car.

Thanks.

Dear K & N,
I think you make the best air cleaner in the business. I currently own a 1995 Ford Ranger with the 4.0 L engine and a 1999 Ford Windstar with a 3.8L. I had installed a K&N replacement filter on the Ranger as soon as I bought it and was very pleased with it. When I saw you came out with an FIPK unit, I immediately bought it and installed it. The removal of the old unit and installation of the FIPK took about 30 minutes I installed the filter on the Windstar last year and my wife has noticed a definite increase in power and mileage.

I am very pleased with your products and recommend them to all my friends.

I'm on my 3rd Mazda B3000 4x4 AT pickup. These have proven to be very reliable and they are cheap. I drive about 30,000 miles a year and tow a ATV and trailer with approx 1200 lbs total weight. All of these trucks spark knock something terrible under a load. Since I have a K&N filter on my ATV I thought I'd try one on the truck. Amazing, my gas mileage has picked up an average of 1.66 MPG and with a move to a medium grade fuel the knock is gone. I had tried the higher octane fuel before to no avail. The old adage holds true, you get what you pay for. Hats off to a fine product."

"A month ago, I purchased a K@N air filter and installed it in my 1999 Ford Expedition with the 4.6 liter V8. My engine has more power and is more responsive and my mileage went from an average of 13.5mpg to a consistent 15.6mpg."

Thank you K@N,
