I recently installed a Universal cone filter in my 2007, 796cc Suzuki Alto (MPFI, Euro III) that has done about 26000Km. This thing really works. The cats roaring like a beast! Sounds like I've installed headers!! Acceleration has become much, much quicker. Cruising on the highway is silky smooth. But put your foot down and the beast is back again. On lifting my foot off on the accelerator pedal the noise from the crankcase breather back to the air intake is clearly audible now, making me feel like I'm in The Fast And The Furious!! Mileage has definately gone up. Now I refuel twice a week, where as needed to refuel thrice a week earlier, for the same commute. And what shocked me was when I did my emission (Same machine, same fuel, same car), the readings showed that CO levels halved from 0.63 to 0.36 %vol now and HC levels reduced by about 58ppm.
Looking forward to some headers and a few confidential gimmics!
You guys at K&N, keep the faith and keep up the good work.
Thanks

I installed the K&N Typhoon system on my 2.4L Cobalt SS and it really opened the engine up. The thing growls! I had watched videos on the internet but I had no idea how beastly it would sound. Plus, it gives me better highway punch, and better low end punch.
Great product!

Over the past half year, I've contemplated whether buying a K&N filter or not. I finally bit the bullet and did it. I have a 2005 Chevy Malibu with a 2.2L 4-Cylinder engine. With a stock paper filter, I was getting anywhere from 30-38 MPG. With this high performance filter, I now get anywhere between 38-44 MPG. WOW!!! I can get over 40 MPG out of a sedan thanks to this filter. That's impressive. My car also feels like it has better throttle response too. This filter is worth the money. I highly recommend this product as this is the only filter you need to buy.

I live out here in the moutains and I have a Ford F150 ext cab with 4.6L. Before I installed the high output intake kit the motor was working hard to get up the hills but now I fly up the hills and the power is awesome. I fly down the roads now and you can hear the power. People turn there heads when I open it up, it's awesome. I am thinking of adding a throttle spacer next to give it a few more horses plus a nice high flow muffler that would be awesome.

My bike is a single cylinder air cooled Apache RTR 160. I got your RC-1060 air filter fixed on the carb with a mild rejetting job. Now the bike has stunning performance with 1.4hp extra power as measured on the dyno. Awesome, truly amazing to see the bike snort and swallow huge gobs of clean air!!!!

I put the air induction system on my 1998 Chevy Blazer, along with a new flowthru 50' series muffler, 3 inch exaust from the catalitic converter back, and changed the fuel filter. Engine 4.3 liter or 260 cubic inches.
My mileage went from 15mi in town to 19mi per gal and 18mpg on road to 23.9 on the road.
Feels like 20 horse power pick up. What do you think?

I have a 2006 Hemi Durango and just installed the FIPK intake system. Man was that an excellent choice. The added power is very nice, it had enough power to begin with, but more is better. As for the sound, that I was not expecting. The engine is a lot louder (in a good way), it sounds like I added an exhaust. My Hemi finally sounds like a HEMI! Gas mileage on the other hand did not really change I was getting 16 MPG average before and still averaging 15.9 to 16.1 per tank after the install. I can’t really complain as my left foot weighs 400 pounds. Oh well I didn’t buy a HEMI for gas mileage. I love this intake, it sounds killer and the power is very sweet. I would recommend this to everyone I talk to. Thank you K&N for making a great product!

I just had to tell you thanks for a terrific air filter. I left my 2002 silverado 1500 6-liter truck in my pole shed when my daughter came home for Christmas break. The mice had a hay day. They took all the fire wall insulation and packed the air filter compartment full. If it wasn't for the strong fiber and wire mesh I could have trashed my engine. What a GREAT product.

Hey K&N, I have a 2006 Dodge Charger R/T with the 5.7 Hemi. I have put performance mufflers on it and just wanted a few more ponies so I chose your knn-69-2526 cold air intake system. So easy to install! It said 90 min, only took 40 min. I took it out to see what it would do, God bless us all! I found Big Foot! He is under my hood & I pissed him off when I punched it. Great sound, but very quiet while cruising. What more can you ask for? I am now around 409H.P. Can't wait to see the mpg! Thanks K&N.

OOOOraaaaaah,
I just bought the typhoon kit cold air intake system and got it installed on my brand new 2009 2.4L Mitsubishi Lancer GT-S. It is Awesome!!!!! It sounds soooo amazing. I find myself not even listening to music on my car. I rather just listen to the air intake, lol. The car pulls harder. U do feel the extra 6 hp that it gives. I recommend that all purchase a K&N intake. Its well worth it....you will be 100% satisified. Very Good Job K&N. I'll be recommending K&N intakes to all my fellow Marines.

April 15 2005 you published a photo of a hybrid system that I made for my Honda powered lawnmower. Well it's now another 4 yrs on and the system still works a treat. I cleaned the filter in May 2005 and that was it. Today I have removed it and checked the snorkel with a clean white cloth. There is NO discoloration apparent. The filter is totally choka with crud and still it stops penetration. Bloody amazing.

I was waiting on your air filter for my LR2, and finally got it. 2 litres per 100 km instant economy. City - it was 14 litres, now 11-12, 13 on highway, now 10-11. I had it before on Altima - the car became irrelevant to the grade of the gasoline - 87,89,91 - fuel economy and power remained the same. Guys, you are awesome designers!

Hallo... liebes K&N Team
Danke K&N

I just bought the basic K&N Filter for my 2009 Camry SE I4 and in an instant the pedal felt better and the acceleration feels more aggressive. I cannot even begin to say in words how much this is needed in every car as a stock option directly from the dealership. If you are doing any performance upgrades or anything of that sort then I highly recommend a K&N Filter. DO NOT LEAVE OUT K&N FILTER WHEN YOU ARE UPGRADING YOUR CAR IN ANY WAY......PERIOD! My used Honda City 1.5 exi(2000) felt dead and almost felt like I was driving with the parking brake on,especially while the aircon was turned on. There was late throttle response and a conspicuous lack in power. It's been a year now since fitting a cartridge type K&N filter and the car runs as if it were tuned by MUGEN HONDA!!!
One complaint though is that the oil and cleaning kits are not available with the dealers in Pune MH India and my filter did not come with the K&N stickers (I love them) .

I wasn't honestly expecting too much from this air filter, but I did get a small but noticable gain on my Vandura (about 2-5hp), which is useful given the sheer weight the Chevy 305 has to move. The real reason I bought it, though, is that it never needs to be replaced which is a real money saver in the long run.
Keep cranking them out, K&N!

Installed on a 94 v6 stang with the air silencer gone, the sweet sound of the k&n filter inhaling air is just beautiful. Though the gains are small depending on your other mods, but this should be a must have for any vehicle whether you want performance or mileage.

I recently installed the cold air intake system on my 2006 Tundra. I'm impressed with the increase in the overall power curve through the RPM range. I recently put a K&N air filter on my 2006 Hyundai Tucson. I travel extensively and on the first trip with the new filter my mileage went from 24-25 MPG average to an amazing 28.950 MPG! This was over the same route and same speeds. The only thing I can contribute this to is the K&N filter. I am convinced!!!

I had fitted R-1060 conical universal filter in my Honda Unicorn, which had already clocked 52000 kilometers. Before fitting the filter, it was returning me an economy of 52 kilometers to a liter of petrol.
I purchased it on 19th Feb 09 from Hardeep at GP Road and was first surprised to see how simple it was to fit. The existing air filter was untouched and the air duct connecting it and the carburetor was removed off. I touched the inside of the duct and was shocked to see grains of sand that had passed through the air filter (I am not sure how it is going to change with K&N). Fitting was done in seconds and my first impression on starting the engine was not good. The sound had changed. There is a roar as if the exhaust had got punctured. The roar was not as loud as damaged exhaust, but it sounded like so. I still do not like the sound :-(
The moment I started to ride, I experienced an apparent increase in torque developed by the engine. Within few meters of driving and gear changes, I could notice that I can shift gears early (I was now able to shift to 5th gear at approx 2000 RPM, which was achieved only at approx 2200 RPM). This gave a hope to improve the fuel economy and there by will justify the cost. I calculated that an even an increase of one kilometer per liter will pay me back with in a month.
I had already had half a tank of fuel and hence I was forced to wait till I hit reserve. I was taken back to see my Unicorn gave me an economy of 55.8 kilometers per liter.
The bike is due to its service and the fuel economy test was done with half tank of fuel consumed with stock air filter. So, with all these, I guess I can obtain more economy.
Readjusting the calculations, now I can take my money back in just 400kms of riding!
I am truly impressed with its performance (but bit sad with the engine note - I would really like the old purr of the engine) and regret my ignorance of driving without it for 52000 kilometers. Again a math surprised me. If I had fitted it on day one (as it does not affect warranty - as claimed by K&N) I would have saved Rs.5000 just on fuel!
It is a must and I would recommend for any hesitant buyer.

Just fitted the K&N Typhoon™ Air Intake System for my Honda Accord 2.4
Type S on a 2003. This system looks great under the bonnet and was fitted in just over a hour, the only problem with the kit is the
jubilee clips supplied with the system are not really up to the job in my opinion (this is only MY opinion). Other than that the car sounds great, can not even hear the intake at normal driving speeds BUT the second you plant the pedal to the floor the engine transforms from a purring cat into growling bulldog. You have to hear it to believe it... and the power gain is noticable between 3000rpm and 5500rpm. Hope this helps anyone thinking of buying one of these systems.

I have a 1998 Cadillac Seville SLS 4.6L Northstar V-8 with under 82,000 miles. Went to a local speed shop and removed factory air filter system and replaced it with K&N cold air intake (short ram air) part No. RE-0950. This was the best thing I could have done, the new intake screams and you can actually feel the g-force difference. Compliments my aftermarket performance exhaust also. 5 stars to K&N. Next on the list is the oil filter.

I just bought a lightly used 2005 Acura MDX and one of the first things I did within my first week of ownership was put the stock replacement K&N air filter in the air box. I had one in my previous car a 98 VW GTI VR6. The K&N air filter is an absolute no brainer. Do not wait any longer this is a decision that will turn out to be one of the best decisions you have ever made, and it's so simple and affordable.
If you know your car... You can hear her finally breathing freely like she has always dreamed of.
...and yes it's true. All of your stats will improve instantly, better gas mileage, and more horsepower.
I am a dedicated K&N owner for life (I'm only 30), and I do almost nothing else to my own cars, they go to the dealer or a certified shop for everything else, but this is so simple you would have to be foolish not to try on your own.
Remember to google yourself some pointers on opening your factory air box properly if you need to.
The whole process took me about 15 minutes.
The best $40-$60 you will ever spend.

Hi,
I recently got my 13 year Suzuki Alto (Maruti 800) fitted with a conical K&N Air filter. The moment I fitted the filter I found a sudden increase in torque in all the gears. I found myself wanting to upshift as soon as possible and the car just lunges forward without hesitation.
I am expecting a increase in mileage too due to lower gear changes and better torque I find my cruising steadily in top gear without experiencing loss of power.
To describe it in a few words K&N filters ROCK

I always looked at the K&N products as I kept buying those replacement air filtration products. Unable to justify the costs of these products built for the same purpose but at such different price points. After spending 2x the amount of your K&N air filter I checked the book for the model No. for the vehicles I'd be buying for. I opened the boxes and examined the deeply red cloth element w/it's soft silicone rubber gasket. This IS an excellent product! My German Grandfather who worked all his life at MACK trucks, earning de-ferments from both world wars his work was so needed. HE would really recognize the Quality+Craftmanship of a co. whose product is made by workers who know its value. My father said Only rich men can afford to buy cheap products and your 1,000,000 quality guaranteed warranty says more than any slogan or t.v. ad could. I bought those filters that day and I put 1 in a 2004 Toyota Corrolla 1.8L, not an image of speed. I had already installed that VORNADO thing on all the vehicles but despite a slight increase in fuel economy not much else. But with the addition of the K&N I felt like I had another 2 cylinders! It breathed much easier, didn't down-shift as often nor easily as it did B4 on over-passes and inclines. It realy sold me on the highway. When passing or just merging it's torque had a more lengthy power-band where it just seemed to have the lungs and determination to just keep on going! I eagerly cleaned & re-oiled it, B4 it needed it but I just love the darn thing! While it was drying, I recommend all to buy the Re-Charger Kit at time of purchase as we all know it's better to have it on hand when needed than to need it and NOT have it on hand! So it's drying and I return the TOYOTA MFG OEM air filter run it around then remove the VORNADO to get the intake area clean. Run it - that w/oem filter, notice even greater dive in performance parameters! When I install the K&N I continue my experiment. Just your filter and it's feeling real eager,I add the Vornado thing again and that combo brings together a increase in driving fun, mpg's and torque & hp though I'm not able to quantify the latter two I sure feel it in the seat of my pants.
I tell all that the small improvements like adding your products and investing in 4 high quality tires for 3 seasons and 4 Blizzak Snow tires for winter and other simple enthusiast upgrades can add to the enjoyment and life of its engine working right to most any car/truck
Keep up the quality and good work-maybe the research into other new products to us loyal devotee's out here!

I put it on as soon as I walked out of the store with it so I could see what it does. I checked the gas mileage on it and I've seen the difference as I was driving it down the road. I put over 70000 miles on my 1995 BMW 325i before I got smart and put in the basic K&N replacement for the floppy OEM filter. What a difference!
A few weeks ago, after rolling over 220,000 miles, my car was in the local BMW specialty shop for a full front to back inspection and tune up. The owner of the shop test drove my car and remarked, when I picked it up, it had more power and torque than any non M type 3 series than he had ever experienced (this coming from a German certified BMW engineer).
He sheepishly admitted to having given it a thorough test drive and asked what I had done to make it so powerful. I replied that all it had was an aftermarket chip and a belatedly added on K&N air filter.
I have, over the years, flogged my 325i up and down mountain back roads and cruised over endless hours of interstate and have never wanted for more power. I still have the same dutifully cleaned and oiled K&N filter too!
Thank you K&N

Not many people have heard of my car which is a Daihatsu Materia and when I found out that K&N has an airfilter kit specifically designed for that car model, I was sold. I checked out some very good info from the website and then found the dealer in Singapore from which to place an order.
The next best thing would be how easy it was to install it yourself based on the pictograph instruction manual included in the kit or the website...made it simple and fun. Self accomplishment adds to the feel-good factor as well, kudos to the thoughtful people at K&N.
Lastly the immediate and noticeable difference after installing the filter kit. The acceleration is smooth and the engine is more responsive during every gear change, so much torque is available on-tap throughout the RPM range. Driving down the highway with a big grin on my face and loving every moment.
Thanks K&N.
