I have recently installed a K&N air filter in my DOHC 2.0 liter Neon and there is a definite increase in throttle response as well as an increase in gas mileage. The engine also revs quicker and higher. This is a true performance deal for the money! Thanks K&N!

Wow!
I bought a K&N for my Mazda B2500 about a year and a half ago. Man, could I tell the difference! I went from 300 miles per tank to 315 miles per tank. Needless to say, "I love this filter!" About a month ago I realized that it needed to be cleaned. I bought the cleaning/oiling kit and noticed the FIPK series, OOhhhhhhh Boy! I couldn't resist. I quickly installed it later that day and went from 315 miles per tank to 335-345 miles to the tank. The power! The Torque! The Sound! I have more acceleration than I know what to do with! I can't believe how much of a difference it has made in my truck! I tell all my friends about it, but they refuse to believe me! Idiots.
Thanks!

Hola from Spain
Dear Sirs.
I have used your K&N filters since 1988, when I bought the 1st one to fit it in my Yamaha FJ 1100. I covered 165,000 km with your filter in 1993. Today, my bike with more than 200,000 km, runs like new and your filter is inside! Good inversion! Since then, I have owned 7 motorbikes, and I have used your filters in all of them, and I have recommended your filter to a lot of friends, who have bought it.
Outstanding product!, I can prove it, you see. It is the minimum that I can do to thank you for making your fantastic product. You have saved me (and my friends) a lot of money in air filters and in motor care: here in Tenerife we have a lot of dust, more when there are Sahara winds (a pair of weeks during a year), and I know that my motor is safe because I have read tests in independent sources that say K&N air filters work better in dusty climates.... and I have checked it! When I have opened the carbs to clean them in my various bikes, the carb's float bowl sumps were always clean (last time in my FZS 600 Fazer after 44,000 km put on in 1 and half years)! In some friend's bikes, I have observed that there is always a little quantity of red-sand in the carbs: the Sahara winds have lot of this sand in suspension, and It seems that their components (Sahara sand, you know) surpasses the filters... but not my K&N filter! HA HA HA
Best regards from a forever client

Just got my Honda Accord (V-6, 6 speed manual), and drove the car for 3 days before installing a drop-in K&N filter. The car starts quicker than the first few days and for a car that accelerates well it seems to rev even easier. Drove the car on a 1700 mile trip mainly on interstate and 65-75 mph. The first tank of gas was 32 mpg, and the next 3 tanks increased to 33 mpg. Not bad when the car is rated for 20-30 mpg. The filter should pay for itself in the next 3-4 months on gas savings, and engine response is a plus-plus bonus.
All four of the cars in my household are equipped with K&N filters (3 standard replacement filters and the Civic EX has a typhoon kit) The other 3 cars have had K&N filters installed for over a year. Each shows the same benefits - easier starting, more responsive throttle, and improved (10-15%) gas mileage.

Thanks for a great product.
Few months ago, I bought a new car for my wife and started driving her Grand Cherokee with 65,000 miles on it. The Jeep has a 4.7 V8 but I always thought it was too civilized. It already had a K&N air filter so the first thing I did was install a catback exhaust. I noticed a little gain but nothing to write home about. Then I installed a FIPK and you know what? One word - WOW! I noticed the added power instantly. And the sound.... too cool. Best money that I ever spent.

Last year I was cleaning my K&N filter from use of about a year and a half. This was the 3rd time I cleaned my K&N. I was using the normal procedure: spray, tap, wash, let air dry and so on. While I was letting the filter dry I took a white wiper to clean out the down side of my air box. I got what I expected, black as black can be. Then for giggles, I decided to use a new wiper and clean the up side of the air box (that goes to the engine) I had to wipe 3 or 4 times. THE WIPER WAS COMPLETELY CLEAN! I was completely amazed.
I WILL NEVER BY A PAPER AIR FILTER AGAIN!

I just wanted to say thanks so much for the detailed installation instructions that was included in my FIPK Kit. My 02 Ford Expedition now really sings. I'm no mechanic by any means. I change my own oil and fluids but that's about the extent of my skills. I was really hesitant at first about buying a FIPK kit because I wasn't really sure I could do it. Kudos to your website. I printed installation instructions before I even ever bought the kit to see if it was something I might could do. After reading the instructions and identifying parts in the motor, I decided to go out and purchase the kit. In under 1.5 hours, I had it installed and back on the road. Once again, thanks SO MUCH for the great pics and instructions. I never would have attempted it without the great support.

WOW!
Hi. Recently purchased a 2001 Toyota Solara, only 11022 miles when I first took it for a test drive. The salesman suggested that it was traded in cause it was slightly underpowered, just a 4 cylinder engine. In fact, the next year Toyota added 22 horsepower to the engine. Anyway, as much as I liked the car, it was sluggish going uphill, so after a month or so I called the Toyota service department and asked them what I could do to improve the performance. He said the best thing I could do was to install a K & N air filter. I had just read that the ideal ratio of air to gas is 14.75 parts air to 1 part gas, so, essentially, a car engine is an air pump, so if it pumps air more efficiently, it ought to run better. Called my local parts dealer, had the filter the next morning, I went on a 120 mile trip and voila!, now I can actually accelerate going uphill! Just want to thank you for a making a great product that really makes a difference!

I just recently installed a filter charger on my '03 Ford Explorer Sport. I had been unhappy with the 15.5 miles per gallon I was averaging for suburban-Chicago driving. I can proudly say that I achieved 17.5 miles per gallon on the first tank with the new filter. At today's gas prices, this filter will be paid for in a couple of months!!! I have noticed an increase in power, most notably at speeds between 30 and 60. I do hear rushing air now when accelerating, but it doesn't bother me a bit, especially with more power and better fuel performance. Thanks for the great product!

I purchased a K & N air filter for my Nissan safari vehicle some 2.5 years ago. Today for the first time I purchased a recharger kit and cleaned and re-oiled the filter.
After 2.5 years the filter was very dirty but with the recharger kit it came up as new.
I use my Nissan a lot off road and I know I should have cleaned the filter well before now.
I was very impressed with the recharger kit and the quality of the filters.
You certainly make a great product. I will also be purchasing another filter for my wife's car and one for my jet boat.
I know you probably get lots of messages like this but I thought I would take the time to say great products.

Dear K&N:
I just installed and test drove your FIPK kit for my '99 Jeep Cherokee 4.0L.
The results were immediate and obvious. It is faster through the whole range, and downshifts much less. This can only result in improved fuel economy. The infamous "Cherokee growl" is now a low rumble. There is a definite sound of rushing air when under load, which might bother some but I didn't expect it to sound stock.
I found everything to be of a high quality, the instructions were clear, and installation very easy. All as claimed.
I'm sold.

First time buyer of your air filter
First of all I'd like to say what a fine job you folks are doing. I have a Dodge Ram quad cab 1500 with a 4.7 motor in it. I love my truck but I hate the gas it sucks up, so I decide to buy an air filter from you because my friend has one on his motorcycle. He told me that it made a big deference on his bike so I put it in my truck and man I gained 2 more miles to the gallon right off the bat. I can't believe it but it does work so my next move is to put one in my motorcycle and I'm going to get the oil filter too. Once again keep up the good work.

Dear K&N Employees,
I just recently purchased a K&N filter (33-2042 - Drop In) for my '01 Chevy Blazer(4.3L V-6). I have put some miles on it before the new filter, and with it installed. All I can say is "WOW"!! What a HUGE difference your air filter makes. The hills where it would shift, it didn't! It has more acceleration. My MPG went up around 1 1/2 to 2 MPG. You have constructed a masterpiece! My Praises go out to your Team. I even convinced my dad to get a K&N Air Filter for his Ford F-150. He tows his camper behind it, and HE has seen a difference in 1 trip!! It's INSTANTLY Noticed!! Thanks again for your fine products you provide. When I have available funds, I plan on Upgrading to the FIPK! I can't Wait.

Having used k&N panel filters for a number of years on Vauxhalls and BMWs I cannot for the life of me see why these filters don't come as standard!!!
My current BMW 535i SE automatic now drives smooth as a nut between the gears and doesn't hunt anymore as well as feeling the throttle response being there for you instead of having to work it. Many thanks for a great product !!!

I'm a huge car freak. I've always believed in K&N's before I even got one! One day I finally made some money, so I got one (33-2006) for my mother's '94 Grand Caravan SE, with the awesome 3.3L V6, I put it in right in the "parts store" parking lot (I mean come on, only 2 clips & done) driving back home, I definitely noticed more response, better top end "pull", more torque. It could spin the tires easier, shhhh, don't tell her that..., & it sounded great. Now almost 2 years later the van has a gutted airbox (before the filter), turbo muffler, 3" inch tip, performance wires & plugs, & the darn thing still pulls & sounds great!!! & it has almost 180K on it!
On my 16th birthday I got a '79 Malibu. After I put a 350 in, I finally nabbed a K&N from a friend who wasn't using it anymore, & noticed more top end, & sounded great (4 barrels rule!) it gets dirty quick though, but that doesn't matter, it reuses the dirt as filter media, so I don't have to clean it as much as when I had to replace the paper filters! I've always pushed the K&N name, & still always will!!! Thanks for making a great product!

I have to say first off that I was a very skeptical buyer. My brother put a filter in his truck and couldn't say enough about it. Yet I was still leery of the claims made by people that use K&N products. Well, it came to a point where I had to replace the stock airbox in my truck because it had been damaged. I could have spent about the same amount for either a factory unit or for a K&N FIPK unit. I opted for the K&N, if nothing else for the filter. I drive about 20 to 25 thousand miles a year and any less maintenance I need to do, including changing the air filter, is fine with me.
After I installed the FIPK, the first thing I noticed was the noticeable difference in noise under moderate to heavy throttle. So I got a low maintenance, high quality filter and a better sounding engine. I would have been happy with just that, but there was more to come. My truck has never been on a dyno, and it never will be. I have no idea how much power the FIPK added, but it is noticeable. There are some hills on the freeway that when driving at 70 with the cruise on my truck would have to downshift in order to maintain speed. Now, my truck takes the same hills without downshifting. And to top it all off, through the first two tanks since I put the unit on, I'm averaging about 1 3/4 MPG better fuel economy. That is with me running the engine faster than I normally do so I can hear more of that growl.
I have to admit, I'll never doubt anyone when they claim great things for a K&N product again. I was rather pleasantly surprised that the hype is true. Now I just have to wait until K&N puts out an airbox for my quad!

I have a RX7 and I put an Ebay purchased paper filter and heard a small difference from my 2,500 dollar exhaust system which was decent but I had a little extra money on me. A few months later and decided to go ahead and
give the K and N a shot to see what the hype was about so I did and boy was it better. My gas mileage went down and the performance dyno read 13 more horsepower and my exhaust roars! I don't know if it was because the OEM filter was dirty or not but Ill take it and this is to say thanks. I am forever a KandN fan. One question though how do you guys keep profits when you only sell one filter for life? Well anyway thanks.

Just got my new filter for my 99 Park Avenue today.....what a difference, the wife even commented as I started it up, we went for a drive, I never realized how sluggish the car was until today, it was worth the 57 dollars....the sound of air was almost a winding sound, turbine like.... now I have all my Vehicles equipped. If you have a bike get one for that too, they are great in the rain.

Hi, I have just fitted a 57i kit to my 1.5 2000 Nissan Almera. Wow what a difference, the car accelerates much better than before and the noise from under the hood is amazing. Took me about an hour to fit the kit by myself. When I first started the engine after fitting the kit I fit the throttle hard and you could hear the engine taking a huge gulp of air.
All I have to do is fit a new back box.
Cheers for making a great product

2004 Porsche Cayenne with K&N
No words can describe the increased performance increase on my 2004 Cayenne S after installing the K&N (replacement filter & not even an intake system, because K&N does not offer one at this time)! My stock Cayenne was a powerful beast to begin with, but what the heck, I decided & but skeptical to test out to see if the K&Ns would even make me recognize even a bit of increase I can really feel. I'm talkin' FEEL & not statistics & I can feel the increased performance at overall conditions of my driving. I don't understand why K&N does not come as OEM of the Cayenne & all other automakers out there. This is the most effective & worthy modification I've done to my Baby & not avoiding a factory warranty?!?! & not to mention, COST-EFFECTIVE for the value of the performance tweak you can achieve!! Truly feels like I now have Cayenne turbo & saved $$$$$! $^~^.Highly praise it & recommend K&N for any autos in this planet.
Thanks K&N!!~!!

I recently purchased a 2003 2WD Mitsubishi Outlander and installed a K&N air filter. The 2004 Outlander has 20 more horsepower and the critics had been saying the 2003 was underpowered. Well, it made a big difference, the acceleration is much better and I have no problems in the passing lane. I recently did a test to check gas mileage. The 2003 2WD is rated at 21/26. I took it out for a pure highway drive between fill-ups and got 28.3 mpg on the highway. I've purchase a K&N filter for my wife's Mazda 6 and can't wait to see the results. I just got back from my "test flight" after installing the FIPK system on my 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 with a 4.7 liter V8- WOW! I started the engine upon completion of the install and could hear that huge air filter sucking in big air and when I revved the motor, my wife stood there and watched me running around the yard grunting like Tim Allen on "Tool Time". On the test drive, of course the first thing I did was stick my foot into it and it sounded like a lion roaring under the hood (my family and I used to raise African lions so I do know what they sound like) and I did notice a difference in throttle response and acceleration. I admit I balked at the initial cost of the kit but between it and the new free flowing exhaust scheduled to go in this week, it will pay for itself in a relatively short time. I currently run a K&N air filter on my '77 Jeep CJ7 and have always run K&N filters on previous vehicles.
Thanks again for making my truck seem brand new again...

Hi, I have just fitted a filter (YA-1199) to my Yamaha XVS1100 Classic cycle and do feel that it is breathing better, but will not fully feel the difference until the machine is run in a bit longer. Have also fitted it to a 350 Chevy powered Holden SS Commodore and have noticed quite a big effect in that machine, it also gives the intake quite a growl on acceleration.
Thanks for making a good product!

Why I only use K&N filters
Years ago, I only used foam filters - OEM, (brand names removed) on my motocross bikes. If I over-oiled the filter, the bikes ran too rich and ran poorly. Every now and then I'd get too little oil in part of the foam, allowing dirt into the motor. We called this "sanding" the motor. I had to re-bore the motor, and replace the piston, rings and sometime the crank and bearings. You could only re-bore the cylinder a few times before replacement was required. At the time, it seemed to be "one of those things" that all of us racers had to endure.
When I purchased a used CAN-AM motocross bike, it had a K&N filter. Due to the placement and design of the airbox, I found I could remove the seat and bang the rubber top of the filter to knock off the loose stuff, and re-oil. It didn't seem to matter if I put too much oil on it, since excess oil would drain off overnight. So much easier, and I never had to re-bore that engine. So, I guess I was using your filters because I was lazy and it was easy. And it worked better. Soon I would learn how much better...
I won all three motos (heats) at a track with a lot of sand and dust. I noticed the bike seemed to be running richer at top RPMs as the race went on. I still won, so I just assumed the filter was a litter clogged. Back at home, I removed the seat and saw the filter was completely buried in sand! A section of the rear fender broke off, allowing the rear tire to fill the airbox with sand. I was shocked that it even ran. I tore down the motor, figuring I sanded it. Nope. The inside of the motor, carb and intake were completely clean. I put the motor back together and raced it another 2 years before I sold it.
There is no doubt in my mind that a foam filter would have cost me the race, and I would have sanded the motor. My formula for long lasting engines is simple - good gas, good oil, proper break-in and a K&N filter. I've never lost a K&N-equipped motor since.
Thanks for making such a great product. It has saved me a pile of money over the years.
(PS - Feel free to edit this if you want. Folks need to know your filters really DO work better, not just last longer and make more horsepower.)
NOTE FROM K&N - We do not recommend over-oiling your filter especially on vehicles with fuel injected engines.

Dear K&N,
I have been using the filter for 3 yrs, but recently just caved and sprung for the whole intake kit, a new chip, and high flow exhaust. I have a 4.3l 2002 Chevy 1500 and the combined results on the Dyno was 36hpb (143 went up to 179) rear wheel horses or approximately +48 fly wheel horsies for the cheaters out there. Any ways I am glad I went with you guys in my upgrade package. The directions were easy to read, and the whole intake swap from removal to restart only took me and my little brother 25 minutes. Thanks for the Fine Product.

I was a skeptical about K&N... what a fool I was...
Wanted to drop you a line and let you know that the K&N filters are exactly as advertised and then some. I purchased a drop in filter for my 2002 F350. I am going to start some regular towing and wanted to help the 5.4L V8 out. I put in a high performance muffler, K&N air filter and wow, what a difference. She has more pep and sounds great. I spent a lot of time researching your product and quite frankly doubted the performance gains. There is no doubt, K&N is the filter everyone should own. I am going to pick up the FIPK kit for my truck, if a drop in did this much, I can imagine how the whole kit will do.
Thanks K&N!

I just wanted you to know that I have been wanting to increase the horse power of my Dodge Ram 5.9L Truck and I first got a good exhaust system and replacement K&N filter for the air intake. The filter increased the gas mileage by 2 miles to the gallon. Well I still was not satisfied with just that because I wanted more power to the rear wheels so I got a engine controller and it helped quite a bit. The potential was still there and it got good acceleration all the way through 95 but it was still not what I wanted. So I read the results of other customers on your web site and I decided to give the FIPK a try and I wanted good looks as well. So when I put the kit in I test drove the truck and I can feel the torque that the filter system gives to the engine and the acceleration is super. I don't know of a better way to thank you for such of a good product other than to tell everyone that I talk cars to about your product. By the way the 2 miles a gallon that I increased with just the replacement filter, has turned to raw power for me and I need to settle down and stop playing with the gas peddle to see what kind of gas mileage I am really getting. I will let you know as soon as I can. Thanks,

I installed a high-flow air FilterCharger to my 02, CBR 1100 XX Super Blackbird and the throttle response is outstanding. Of course I also installed high performance slip ons and installed a pc 3 and remapped the fuel injection, dyno, 134 hp/78 ft lbs torque. However the K&N enhances all the mods and is as important as each one. I have one on my '87 Volks Westphalia and have had one on many other vehicles with all the same results, easy installation, increased gas mileage and performance. Great product!!

I recently installed an FIPK unit on my 2000 Chevy Blazer 4.3L. WOW, what a difference in power, acceleration, and overall performance. I have used K&N filters in my 1987 IROC Z-28, Harley Sportster and the family van and the results are never disappointing. These filters are worth every penny and save me money in the long run.
Great job on the simple to follow instructions with the FIPK and keep these great products flowing.

Just wanted to let you know that I'm very happy with the purchase of the replacement filter. I have a 2000 Cadillac Escalade and I wanted to find something to increase horsepower and save on gas mileage. You know how these V8 SUVs are, a bunch of gas eaters. Plus, I felt like I have to do the Fred Flintstone in order to make it run faster. So with that I've researched about your product all over the internet trying to decide which filters to use rather than the ole paper filter. Searched thru a couple of forums and other sites to gather opinions on your products and finally decided after reading the Testimonials on your site, I was a little hesitant, but figured I might as well give it a try since everyone else is saying that it's a good product.
Let's put it this way, once I've installed the filter and took it for a run, I was totally shocked on the immediate response, I felt the increase in power almost instantaneously. I can tell you that because before I had to practically floor it in order to increase power, now it just takes off. Totally surprised how smooth it runs now and I've driven 50 miles and I can tell you that I actually had more mpg for my buck. This looks like a good investment. Finally a product that actually says what it does. Thank you for making such a filter, I don't think I'll ever go back to paper, this looks like my permanent change!

Subject: Performance Truth
Dear K&N,
This past month I purchased a replacement filter for my wife's 2003 Ford Escape and what a difference it made, power you can feel. The Escape now to me has better throttle response. On another note my 2000 Mustang GT was also greatly helped by the FIPK 57-2519-3 P/N. It too had better throttle response over the K&N filter replacement. When the replacement filter was dropped in the canister the car did better than the stock filter, but then I installed the FIPK and WOW!!! what a difference. The other positive was the detailed instruction that had picture after picture that showed every detail. My father and I installed the FIPK in about 90 minutes not rushing. I have purchased many things but not with instructions this simple. Thanks K&N.
PS My father was so impressed with the drop in filter in my wife's Escape that he had me go order a K&N replacement filter for his 1991 GMC. Another positive, my assigned POLICE car, a 1997 Crown Victoria, has a K&N drop in filter that I purchased on my own, it too made a difference.
Thanks again for your time and engineering. Job well done.

THE FIPK is awesome
2 days ago I purchased and installed your FIPK system in my '93 Ford F-150 4x4 302 V8. What a huge difference, even over the K&N panel filter I had before. I don't have any numbers to give, but the amount of acceleration and power gain is awesome. Along with the custom exhaust I have installed, the ominous throaty sound that I usually only heard from the back, now come from the front as well, making the truck sound like there's a built 460ci under the hood when entering the highway. Many people have taken notice and asked what I've done. I proudly tell them of the quick and simple upgrade and highly recommend they do the same. Too bad this isn't factory installed, standard equipment.
Thanks for a great product,

I REPLACED MY AIR FILTER IN MY WIFE'S CAR, K+N FILTER, GOT ON THE FREEWAY RAMP TO GET GAS IN THE CAR. AT THE BASE OF THE RAMP I PUNCHED THE THROTTLE ,IN THE PERFORMANCE SHIFT MODE. WHEN IT SHIFTED IN TO SECOND IT CHIRPED THE TIRES, IT NEVER DID THAT BEFORE. THE K+N FILTER REALLY WORKS ,MORE POWER AND RUNS BETTER. THANK YOU K+N!!!!!!!

Hello. I purchased one of your panel filters for my 1988 5.0 Mustang and after two years replaced it with one of your conical filters. After that I transferred it to my wife's 1989 5.0 and here is the story. I have been having many many problems with the car running right. Every time it rains or snows the car dies and runs horrible. I eventually made my way back to your K&N filter and it was full of water and so was the intake track. Ok, so I washed out your filter about 6 times no less and purchased one of your recharger kits! After all the water, ice, mud, snow, and other garbage that found its way into the filter it is like brand new again!? Can you find a better story than this? This is a incredible testament to your product. If you saw the water when I washed out the filter and how long before I even removed it from the air box!? words cannot describe how tuff your filter must be. I drag race and do a little street fun here and there. I have yet to even look at the conical filter. In the end whoever owned the car before my wife removed the inner plastic fender wells and all of the road garbage found its way under the hood.

I have purchased a few vehicles over the last couple years, an 89 Ranger, 86 Cutlass, 94 Acheiva, and a 93 Ranger 4x4. currently working on a 94 Eagle Vision TSI. The very first thing I do to the car or truck is install a K&N filter. They just help performance and mileage so well that not having one is completely stupid. They easily pay for themselves after a month or so of driving. The response of all the vehicles was increased. There is always a K&N for the auto I am working on, which just makes it so much nicer. I recommend them to anyone. They are the best.

Dear K&N,
I recently purchased your 14" X-Stream Air Flow Filter Top and a Stubstack (Holley Square Bore with Milled Choke Horn) for my 73' Plymouth Cuda (340 4bbl, 4sp) that my father and I restored and the results are amazing. The motor is far from stock but still primarily designed for the street, however I was never able to get the 650 Holley (double pumper / mechanical secondaries) adjusted right, the car just wouldn't choke the fuel which I always thought was kind of strange. This was partly caused by the lack of hood clearance, forcing the use of a 1-1/4 drop base and a filter height of 2-13/16". Even with the air filter assembly off, the car still seemed to bog a bit under full throttle and ran worse towards the top end, most likely due to the air flow going over the top of the carburetor instead of down into it. With the help of the information on your website I decided to take a chance and see what the parts above would do. As soon as my order arrived I installed the parts, which took all of 2 minutes, warmed up the car and headed out for a test run not sure what to expect but never expecting what I got. In 1st gear from about a 5mph start, usually I would have had to be running 25mph or 3,000 RPM, I let it loose and found that I was driving a whole new car as it caught rubber from 1st to 2nd before I had to get out of it. I always knew the motor was strong, that's what I had it built for, but until I installed the X-Stream and the Stubstack the car was never reaching its full potential. The Cuda runs stronger than ever now and the drivability is on a completely different scale. All I can say is Bravo, I'm beyond impressed.

Dear K&N,
Today I purchased a high flow air filter for my 1985 Honda Accord. After I installed it, I took it for a test drive, and I couldn't believe what happened. The car was performing better than it had new. It shaved at least 2 seconds off my 0-60 mph time. It also gave it a great boost in horse power. The other thing that it did that I am really happy about is the sound. I have a 4 1/2 inch cherry muffler and it gave it a more crisp LOUD sound. THANK YOU K&N FOR THIS WONDERFUL PRODUCT!!!

I recently bought your air filter for my 96' Accord, 2.2L , and I think it made a moderate change. The engine idles at 400rpms instead of 500rpms, and it seems to want to rev higher, and its a lot smoother. But I bought the filter to save me money in the long run. My Accord only has 60K miles, and I figured that I am going to spend more than 40 bucks on air filters.
High quality product, and easy to install. Good Job!

K&N,
I just purchased a K&N round filter (OEM replacement) for my '70 Chevelle. I have a 402 big block with considerable modifications. Of course, the original paper element filter had seen better days, so I decided to replace it with a K&N. All I can say is "WOW!" I have had K&Ns in the past with no problems, but have never felt the performance increase as I did on my Chevelle. I am awaiting to get on the Dyno for more accurate info, but if I could guess, I would say about a 4-5% increase in HP. Great product, well worth the money. Thanks.

I installed a K&N replacement filter into my 2000 intrepid R/T with a 3.5L V6 over one year ago. I track my mileage consistently and have been averaging between 27 an 29 MPG. (factory rating is 26 highway). I like the product so much I installed one in my wife's dodge caravan this evening.
Thanks for a great product.

I own a 1992 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera with the 3300 V-6 Engine. I noticed it still had a old air filter in it and ran it awhile and got about 315 miles to a tank of gas. My husband is a great fan of your filters so I got a air filter for the car and noticed the performance increase right away, the mileage went from 315 to 350 miles to a tank of gas. I love this air filter. I kept the old air filter to use in car when cleaning this air filter. My husband pulls garden tractors and uses 4 K&N Air Filters on them. He has ran those filters for over 13 years on the tractors. Thank You for great products.
Best of Luck,

Okay, okay, you have convinced me. After talking with several friends, checking out the website and reading testimonials, I was skeptical. One guy even said he noticed the difference while backing out of the parking lot after he got his air filter. I thought, "right pal." Then I figured, what have I got to lose?
I called a local distributor, he met me after work, and helped me install the air filter. It was true! I noticed the difference immediately! Before I bought the air filter, I had noticed a 'lag' when I hit the gas. Afterwards, there was no 'lag.' Instead, there was instant power. Not only has this helped me with horsepower and gas mileage. I feel much safer with a vehicle that responds quicker than before. I have now ordered one for my wife's vehicle and am talking my mom and dad into putting K & N into their vehicles too!
Thanks K & N, I only wish I had know about you sooner.

Oh My!!!! I have a 99 Ford Ranger 4x4 4.0L V-6. I installed your filter. A friend had installed one in his 99 Ranger 4.0L 4x4. I started my Ranger and went down the street, I immediately noticed how smooth the engine and transmission were working...no more hesitation. I took my Ranger to the freeway....again Oh My!! the usual sluggish performance between 50 and 70mph was gone. As a matter of fact 100 miles per hour came up so quick that the motor governor kicked in and shut me down. I now pass trucks & cars on 2 lane roads with ease. My Ranger had a range of 220 miles per tank full on the highway...My range is now 300 miles per tank full.
I talked my father in-law into one for his 2001 Nissan Pathfinder 3.5L V-6. He is a speed demon by nature. He was very happy with the increased performance and gas mileage. He now achieves 19 miles per gallon up from 17 miles per gallon on the highway. It is truly sad that the American Auto Industry does not include K & N Filters as standard equipment with all vehicles.
K & N will be in any vehicle that I own from now on. I will continue to recommend K&N to all my friends and business associates.
