I have an Econoline 150 van, with a K&N air and oil filter on. The van is a 300 ci in line 6-cylinder engine, which stock runs around 14 mpg. With these upgrades I am able to achieve 30 mpg at 55 mph or 22 mpg at highway speeds of 65-70 mph. The overall engine performance is phenomenal, excellent throttle response and an added (at least) 20 horsepower altogether. Torque has also improved tremendously over the OEM equipment. The most noticeable difference is climbing the steep hills around Lake Michigan, before the "dog" would struggle up, you could tell there was an airflow issue. After I installed the air filter, she powers right up those hills without missing a beat. I couldn't imagine running without these excellent products. My active lifestyle demands performance with frequent 1000+ miles trips, including those to the deserts of Nevada and New Mexico. Thanks K&N!

Dear K&N:
I just wanted to let you know that I had purchased the cold air induction system for my Tahoe and was very pleased with the performance increase that I gained from applying your system. I've bragged enough that my father purchased one for his 97 Ford F-2450 that had "lost it's spunk." He was ecstatic when he felt the difference after we put it on and went down the road, he said it drove and responded better than new. Thanks for making an "old dad" happy with his "old truck."

I installed an air filter in my 1989 Grand Wagoneer (Jeep/5.9L V8) it made a HUGE difference. The engine idles smoothly and starts immediately.

I installed an air induction kit on my 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland (4.7 HO V8). It was already a very responsive engine, but now it is monster (in a good way). It gets much better mileage, idles at 600 rpm instead of 1,100 rpm, has excellent throttle response, and sounds wonderful.

Thank you for such great products.

I purchased a K&N filter today with some money I got for Christmas, I wanted to spend money on my car but didn't know what to get. I have been thinking about modifying my intake to allow more air flow to reach the filter but had never actually thought of just upgrading the OE filter. Well I'm glad I did, it has made a huge difference to the acceleration and over all responsiveness of my vehicle and just thought I'd send an e-mail to say thank you and keep up the good work... Thank you again

UPDATE 1/20/05: I purchased a K&N OE replacement filter on Boxing day and sent you an e-mail in regards to how happy I was with the power/torque increase. I now have more feedback for you this time in regards to fuel consumption. Sorry to say the information I have worked out is metric so it may need converting from Litres/100km to Miles/Gallon.
The results are as follows:
With OE Filter still fitted- City 23L/100Kkm, Highway 17L/100km With K&N Filter fitted- City 17L/100km, Highway 14L/100km

These figures are with the car running on LPG (as fuel pump is currently not working) the Auto in 'Power' mode and using cruise control at 100km/h in highway conditions. I would also like to add that I don't take it easy off the line so I tend to chew through fuel.

Hope this information is useful to you, all the best

Dear K&N
Like many of your customers I too am not prone to taking the time to write a manufacturer in order to congratulate them on a product well made. I am making an exception today, however. In November, 2004 I had my 400cid Pontiac V-8 totally rebuilt, run, and tuned on the engine rebuilding shop's engine dynamometer. For our last pull on the dyno we placed a K&N filter and X-Stream Air Flow top onto my Quadrajet and realized both a 10 hp and 10 lb/ft gain at the respective peaks. Based on these results I will most definitely be installing both a K&N filter and an X-Stream Air Flow top on my Trans Am in the spring. As my engine builder said, "That filter is the 10 least expensive horsepower in that engine". Well done, K&N.

UPDATE - For the record, and I wish I had been more clear on this in my previous e-mail, the 10 hp and 10 lb/ft difference was between just the carburetor alone, (no air filter of any kind), and then the addition of your filter and X-Stream Air Flow top. I was impressed.

Air Charger for a 2004 Pontiac GTO
WOW.....I just spent half the day putting a K&N Air Charger (I'm old), in my 2004 Pontiac GTO. I have never wasted my time giving feedback on products before, but I just had to tell someone about the pure beauty of this air/filter system. After I finished putting everything together, I started her up. I could tell right away that something was different. She was kind of rock'in side to side with a low rumble. A test drive is in order I thought; wouldn't want to be a slacker. So off we went.
I could tell immediately the 5.7L had more beef, more punch, hell, it just kicked a$$. I'll stop now; don't want to babble, but I'll tell you it was definitely worth every penny.....but then joy is always worth more than $$.

I put your cold air injection kit on 2004 Dodge pickup 2500 with the Cummins 5.9L diesel and wow what a difference. I could never believe that doing this would change my power so much. My take off is really changed and my fuel mileage as changed for the better. This the second time I've used a K & N filter. The first time I put one on my 1990 dodge pickup 2500 with the Cummins and just changing to your filter there was a big change for the better.

Gentlepersons:
Seldom do I write an accolade for a product; however, this is one of those rare occasions. I received and installed a K&N air filter in my '92 Landcruiser three days ago and found out for myself that the "hype" surrounding K&N products is not hype at all. During my driving sessions around town, I immediately noticed a much smoother idle. I did not notice an appreciable increase in "horsepower" until I took my vehicle up a very steep grade on one of our many Los Angeles freeways. At freeway speed, the horses really kicked in, and the car had more passing power. You see, my Landcruiser, although I wouldn't give it up for almost anything, has a V-6, 4.0 litter engine--- very underpowered for a vehicle of its size. The 60 bucks (including shipping) I laid down for the K&N air filter actually changed, in quite significant ways, the manner in which my Landcruiser idled, passed at freeway speeds, and the overall "feel" of the vehicle. Even my wife noticed the difference in idle. What a steal! My highest congratulations go out to you folks at K&N, and I wish your fine company the very best in the years to come.

I have a k&n universal filter in my 2001 Suzuki Zen MPFI. It's a previous generation of the Alto here in India. It has a 993cc MPFI engine. After I fitted the k&n filter, the roar of my engine after 3000rpm is so awesome that I don't put on the AC I just rip the engine inside tunnels. Also there is a noticeable improvement in the performance and any lay person can feel it. The fuel economy has also improved by about 1 km/liter if driven conservatively. I had this filter since 2002 but never got the time to comment on this site.

I am really grateful to you for having made such a lovely product. At the time there was no dealer in India so I had to import it through a friend in the US. It's an absolute value for money. Now that Methods online in India has started stocking it many others will get to experience this great experience.
keep up the good work.

We purchased our 2002 Kia Sedona van from a friend who no longer needed such a large vehicle. He always stated that it only achieved no better than 21mpg on the highway. Well, the first thing I did was to find a K&N filter on the web and get one for this van. In town mileage improved somewhat but after changing the oil with synthetic and having the plugs changed, mileage really improved. We just returned from a 1600 mile Texas vacation and got a high of 24.4mpg at an average of 70mph! To clarify things a bit more, our friend mostly traveled alone and this trip to Texas was just my wife and I; although we did bring back lots of souvenirs, gifts and Christmas presents. I didn't check the mileage on the trip home because I know the added weight of "stuff" helped drop it. I'm just glad to know that the mpg has gone up period. I also like the growl it makes when I accelerate hard.

Thanks,

I own a 2004 Honda Civic 1.7liter ex coupe, and about two months ago I installed the 69-1008TB Typhoon Short-Ram Air Intake. WOW! I can't believe the difference! My car always felt like it struggled some when it was accelerating with the stock air box, so I got the K&N replacement air filter to help out some. I noticed a slight increase in performance, but the stock inlet tube was right next to the fender wall, getting hardly any air! If you own an 04 civic, save up for the Typhoon kit. My engine looks so much cleaner with the typhoon, sounds MUCH sweeter, and I have noticed a 20 to 25 mpg increase in my fuel mileage (I have an auto transmission). Excellent product, K&N! The drastic change in my acceleration is unbelievable! Your magazine ad is true, it put boost in my drive! Every time I accelerate (especially if I punch it) I smile from ear to ear. One of the biggest changes I love the most is the new sound that roars from underneath my hood when I accelerate! This sound alone is enough reason to buy this kit! I simply cannot wait until I am able to hook up a cat-back exhaust system to my civic....the sweet roar of the Typhoon coupled with the low rumble of the cat-back! All of this talk about the typhoon has made me want to go driving. Thanks, K&N, for all of your research, development, and hard work! I love your products, and 3 oil changes ago I switched to synthetic motor oil and the K&N Performance Gold Oil Filter.
Rock on!

I just installed a K&N Apollo on a 98 Volvo V70 2.3 T5. All I have to say is awesome! For the first time since we got the car you can actually hear the turbo working sucking in small children and such things! You can even hear the waste gate working when you take your foot off the gas! It feels like there is a whole new engine under the bonnet and the whole car feels like it has a massive rocket booster even with a full tank of fuel! THANK YOU K&N!

Best filter around. My dad ran them in his racing bikes in the late 60's early 70's. The first thing I do when I buy a vehicle is order one. For the skeptics out there that think you're going to get more dirt in your engine, because of the increased air flow: My best friend is a mechanic and has changed my oil since day one. He actually complimented me on having really clean oil. No sign what so ever of sludge, build-up, or dirt.

I just returned from a trip after installing a 77 series intake on my 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe that has a 5.3 flex-fuel V8. I am glad to say that I averaged 18 miles per gallon cruising at 70 miles per hour. That is much better than the 15 mpg I was getting prior to installation.

The performance value is noticed also. It is more responsive to the throttle at any speed. Again, I am very satisfied with another K & N product.

I have been working for NAPA Auto Parts for nearly five years. When we first started carrying your line of products I immediately put a filter on all my vehicles figuring they would pay themselves off by cleaning them. After purchasing my new 2002 Silverado I decided to upgrade to the FIPK. This kit is awesome and it gives me a change to really support a product that I enjoy selling to people. Bringing people out to my truck to show them I actually have the product I am trying to sell them is awesome and when they hear me kick the throttle and the intake takes that big gulp of air they are sold as was I. Great product and I will continue to be a proud owner of a K&N fipk kit.

Dear K&N,
A week ago I fitted my 1979 Fiat 128 with a universal clamp-on-K&N filter, and WOW. The car roars under acceleration like never before, and the acceleration and throttle response. The car just leaps when I hit the gas pedal. I haven't yet checked the fuel consumption, but I haven't turned on the stereo since I installed it cos I just love to hear that roar, K&N THANK YOU:)
keep up the good work ..

Great Product
I purchased a complete K & N Kit last week for my 2004 Dodge Ram 5.7 V8 Hemi and man...this is just great. I have a NOTICEABLE power increase as well as a great sound under the hood. This is what the HEMI is supposed to be like. I have told all my friends that they should consider this upgrade. I also have noticed an increase in my gas mileage as well. Thank you K & N !!!

I recently purchased a K&N FIPK for my 2003 Ford 150 4x4, with a 5.4L engine. I have already noticed a huge performance difference, plus getting 2 miles to the gallon more on the highway at 70mph. The throaty sound when you put your foot into is also really nice. The FIPK along with the Cat-Back System I installed really made a noticeable difference. Great filter system!!!

Thank you for a great well engineered product. I just installed the short ram system on my Celica GT-S. The instructions were simple and easy to follow. Every thing fit perfectly. The increase in performance and sound was immediately evident. I am very pleased and would recommend this intake system as a first step in performance improvement to any enthusiast.

Approximately four weeks ago we purchased K&N filters for our 1999 Nissan Frontier SE 4X4 V6 and 2003 Subaru Outback Wagon 2.5L. The filters were purchased primarily to improve our gas mileage. We had the mindset that more horsepower and torque would equal better gas mileage. Your site does not support this thinking. But we did end with something else!! Read on.
My wife's Nissan was the first vehicle to receive the K&N "treatment". Her filter had not been replaced in a year and was in dire need. I figured if your filters are as good as you and everyone else says, she would notice a difference. I drove back to the house from the auto parts store in her truck with the filter in, but did not notice a difference. She drove soon after on an errand and noticed an improvement pulling out of the driveway! She stated "It has more pickup!". She kept repeating that on our trip. She still mentions it, frequently when she comes home from work or errands. Her gas mileage has consistently been 18 mpg in combined city and highway speed driving. My Subaru became a changed car after I replaced the "new" air filter the dealer had put in only 4000 miles before. It was pretty well shot when I took it out. We took a 300 mile highway trip the next day in this car. Running at 65 - 75 for most of that trip, the Subaru returned a respectable 27 mpg for the entire trip. The K&N filter has changed the throttle response and overall performance of this car. On this trip, with the A/C on, this 4 cylinder would ACCELERATE up hill on the cruise control. I would have to tap the brake from getting too close to other cars that were "struggling" up the same hill. We have also taken two more long trips with the car in past weeks and the same mileage and power are there. In my daily driving I enjoy the broader torque, thank god I bought this car with a 5 speed, and power curves. I have seen the gas mileage on the Subaru return to the levels it is EPA rated. I have been consistently getting 24 mpg in "city" driving, and the 27 mpg on those highway trips. I guess what I am trying to say in all of this is that my wife and I both love the way our cars perform with the K&N filters in our stock intakes. For us it is a economical and appropriate for our needs. As well it saved me $300 for a cold air intake from a company that does not have your reputation for quality and performance. We are converted and I plan to replace the filter in ANY new car that we purchase right after we get it home:) with a K&N. Thanks for a great product!

I recently purchased one of your FIPK Generation II kits for my 2004 4.8L GMC Sierra and have seen good improvements. Before I was averaging 19mpg on the highway and 17mpg in town. Now I'm consistently averaging 22 on the highway and 19 in town. And the deep throatie sound makes the kit worth while by itself.....Great product!!!!

My filter results!

I just installed a K&N air filter into my '91 BMW 325iX and I've noticed a little more power that I can actually feel! I've also gone from 22 MPG to 25 in the city! I was skeptical about the gains until I tried it. K&N works great! Thanks for such a great product!

Dear Readers
I purchased my K/N filter before we left on our trip to Maine. I have a 2002 Kountry Star 38 ft. motor home.
I was only getting 6.5 to7.1 MPG. After the first tank of gas with the K/N filter I received 8.1MPG. The engine is the 8.1Vortec. I also had more horsepower. When going up steep grades it only downshifted from overdrive to fourth, it was great. Thank you K/N for more horses and better mileage.

I just wanted to let you know that I purchased a K&N filter to fit my 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I had heard that with your filters and added air flow I could increase my gas mileage. Well since I installed the filter I went from 18 mpg to 22 in day to day driving and from 26 mpg to 30 mpg on long highway driving... I realize that individual results will vary from person to person, but I thought I would pass this along to you.... I purchased another filter for my 2003 Dodge Dakota pickup, I will advise you when I get the results.

thanks

WOW what a difference. I purchased a K&N air filter after repeated conversations with one of my friends. I have a 2004, GMC, Sierra, 4X4, crew cab, long bed, with a 8.1 vortex that was only averaging 8.5 MPG, mixed driving. After installing the K&N air filter a week ago I'm now averaging 10.2 MPG and that all in town. I have run the numbers on this product and it will pay for its sell in less than 4 fill ups. I'm a believer now and I'm sharing this story with all my friends and family. Thanks K&N.

The car: 1998 Ford Mustang GT 4.6L.
I recently added the K&N FIPK II to my 98 GT. The product looks much better than the stocker under the hood and gave it that performance look. Right away I noticed a definite increase in throttle response and a bit more oats for my pony. Nice gains and great product. I am a K&N fan for life. I had a filter in my 95 V-6 Mustang, an 82 Mustang GT and an 83 Mustang 2.3l.

Dear Sirs,
I am the owner of a BMW R1150RT, this morning I changed my air filter, more of a "maybe it helps" sort of idea. On my drive home I was flabbergasted by the difference. Acceleration response and top end power was really noticeable. I really wish I could explain this in a way your customers could understand. All I can say is try it and you will be REALLY surprised.

I just bought a k&n FIPK generation 2 intake kit for my 1997 Dodge Ram. The installation went great. It took me about two hours to install the product due to some modifications I had to do to the heat shields because I have a three inch lift on the truck which offset the heat shield and the tubing. Other than that the acceleration is great and I can now peel out and make some smoke with my 285's which really wowed me. Thanks for the great product,

I got my K&N just a couple days ago for my 04 Suzuki SV650 and all I can say is it is worth every penny! The increase in performance and responsiveness is simply incredible for such a low-cost component. I've read public websites who have tried the K&N filters and reported power increases that you would normally see after replacing an exhaust, or something similarly expensive. I was slightly skeptical that an air filter could do so much, but now I am a believer! Thanks for a fantastic product!

2004 Z71 Tahoe results

I own a 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe Z71 4X4 and my fuel mileage increased by 3MPG (from 14.6 to 17.6) with the installation of your stock replacement filter. Amazing! I cannot brag about your products enough and I recommend them to all Chevrolet/GMC truck/SUV owners due to excellent results that I received. Thank you for the efficiency and power.

I ride my small Enduro XR 200 R Honda motorcycle in altitudes that go from 4200 to 9000 ft in the sierra of Chihuahua México and specially when the weather is cold and humid the engine misfires because of so rich jetting that going up the very steep roads making the ride painful and changing the jetting on an old model ( 1985 ) is a problem here in México, so I changed the foam filter and installed the HA-2584 air filter and MAGIC ¡¡¡ AMAZING PERFORMANCE , not a single misfire , the exhaust pipe just a tan color and no carbon on my finger tip, the spark plug no carbon deposit, the ceramic tip white after 1600 miles of dirt riding.

Thank you for your excellent product.

Just wanted to say thanks for such a great product. I have a '94 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup with a 3.9L V6 that was averaging about 19 mpg. After installing your FIPK kit, a high-performance muffler, and switching from the engine-mounted cooling fan to a radiator-mounted electric, I now get 23 mpg. Not to mention the AWESOME sound the FIPK kit makes.

K&N FIPK GEN II 2000 Dakota 4.7
This has to be the one performance accessory that does exactly what the charts and the reviews say it does. I didn't want the constant loudness or expense of exhaust but wanted a little extra beef in the horsepower and a more throaty sound. The intake gave me everything I wanted just when I wanted it. At idle speed I can't even hear it, which is what I wanted. But from about 2.5k - 4kRPM the difference can't be ignored. The growl resonates and you feel the extra performance through the thick of the power band. The newly found responsiveness in the gas pedal gets you there really fast too. I'm waiting on gas mileage results. However, its been real hard keeping my foot out of it. I think I might have a new bad habit.

I thank K&N for backing up the advertisements with a good product. Even though it was probably the product that created the advertisements. You just don't see that anymore.

Please understand; never in my 52 years have I written any manufacturer to sing the praises of anything. However...I have no idea when you last manufactured a replacement filter for the Yamaha RD400, but I've been riding these smelly little two-stroke wonders since I was a kid. Having fairly recently acquired yet another RD, and once again having begun the never-ending process of building the perfect one, I found, bid on, and won, your part number YA-1200, for the sum of twenty-six bucks on E-Bay. I'd read about your products on some bike site or another, and was disappointed to find that you didn't currently manufacture an OEM part to fit my bike. Given all the glowing testimonials, (which honestly I felt hard to swallow) I thought I should at least try one. So I was pleased to find one, and earlier this evening replaced a brand new factory Yamaha filter with your probably ancient part. A matter of five minutes, two bolts and a couple of thumbscrews. Never before have twenty-six bucks and five minutes of non-work yielded such obvious returns. Really! I just blasted around Chicago's North Side for about an hour and a half, and was summarily impressed. Wider powerband, better low end and midrange, and I was able to wind the damn thing right past eight and a half grand accelerating onto Lake Shore Drive for the first time since I bought it. And I lost the two-stroke surge, (well, most of it anyway) without even touching the air-screws. Jeez, I can't wait to actually tune it. Honestly, short of expansion chambers and re-jetting, a much bigger investment in time, money, and energy, your filter has quickly proven itself to be the most worthwhile single addition to an RD I've ever made. Now you'll have to excuse me, as I'm going to hit the streets again. Just to prove to myself I didn't imagine all this, and that a properly designed and engineered air filter can make such a dramatic improvement in the performance of a thirty-year old two-stroke motorcycle that I haven't even tuned-up yet.

Hi I've fitted a K&N element to my Suzuki DRZ 400 Trail bike and noticed an improved throttle response and found because the bike is used off road the filter can handle the mud and water much better than the standard filter.

The results.... Just wanted to share my experience with K&N.
I keep track of fuel spending because I regularly commute 70 miles one way to work. I am driving a 2003 Chevy Impala, and installed a K&N filter in January of this year.

Here are the results.

26.38282437 Average Mileage PRE-filter change

29.36066422 Average mileage POST-Filter Change.

An increase of 11.28%!

Figuring I have driven 25,500 so far this year, with average gas prices of $1.75, the filter has saved me almost $175. It has truly been worth every penny of the purchase price.

Thanks, K&N!
Yours is truly a product that lives up to the hype.

Dear K&N,
I have a 2004 F150 FX4 with the 5.4L Triton v-8. When I 1st got the truck I put a dual exhaust on it and aside from the sound, I didn't get a whole lot. Now about 2 weeks ago I went ahead and got a chip and programmed it into the computer. the results were amazing! I couldn't believe the power I got from it. Having that said, I didn't really think I could get much more power out of it, but since I had a K&N intake on my 98 V-6 Mustang and it worked wonders on power, I thought I would try it on my truck so I got the 63-1089 complete intake kit. The instructions were awesome! No problem following them! It took me about an hour and a half to install the whole thing. So when I was done I fired it up and went "holy crap is that me!? It growled something fierce! When I hit the gas it just ROARS! and even though I had the chip and the exhaust, it still gave me power I could feel! My shifting is harder and low end torque is amazing! It literally chirps the tires when shifting! I haven't done the gas mileage check on it yet but if it improves the 12 I get now, you bet ill be one happy K&N customer! Not to mention it really makes my engine look less clustered and more powerful with that big a** air filter screamin' out at you!

Wow your filters are great! I just recently put one on my go-ped (motor scooter) and on my 5 hp Briggs mini bike. I really noticed a difference in low and mid range torque on the 2 stroke and low end take off and top end performance on the mini bike.

Just installed a KN Intake on my 02 Ford Lightning...WOW I can't believe the difference in performance. I have the dual KN on my 03 Vette which was installed mostly for looks and sound. This was installed at the same time as an after market exhaust system so I really didn't get the full effect in performance. Even though I wasn't thinking about gas mileage the Vette gets a little over 30 MPG on the road at 80-85 MPH. The truck performance is a different story, I was advised incorrectly that unless I chipped it I would not be able to tell the difference with an air intake. Not true there is a very distinct improvement in low end performance and the super charger sounds awesome with the intake. Don't know the improvement in gas mileage yet but I can sure use help the truck gets 12 on a good day.

I fitted a k&n panel filter in my Peugeot 206 1.4 XR (2001). The difference in power is slightly noticeable, but the car picks up better after shifting, torque has improved too! Not needing another filter again is a big plus too! Worth every cent is my opinion! Together with the other small modifications I made to the car, it runs much better as stock!

Thanks k&n for this great product!

Dear sir ,
May I take this opportunity to thank you for an excellent product. This is the second filter I have bought [this one is in my 2003 focus 1600]. The first one being on a 1993 Sunny 1.4. The difference in drivability is marked. Once again thanks,

Sirs:
I bought a 2002 Camaro with a 3800 V6 about a month ago and two weeks ago I decided to add a K&N air intake kit just to add a little more performance along with a muffler (system) with dual outlet pipes and the first thing I noticed was a increase in the air intake accompanied by increases in performance and an increase in gas mileage from 22 to 25 mpg with mixed driving. I really believe this is one addition to my car that will pay me back in performance and economy. Thanks for a great product.

Dear K&N,
WOW! What a difference. I have a 2002 Honda ACE shadow and bought one of your filters. I was going on a long trip and wanted to test the filter. Well, I'm back from my trip and after about 5,500 km. All I can say, is my bike has NEVER ran as good as it did on my trip. Now I'll telling all my friends to try the filter on their bikes.

Thanks again

I installed one of your filters on my 4.8 2000 Sierra when it was a year old and the difference was remarkable but what sold me on its worth was getting stuck in mud up to its doors and inhaling a large amount of mud, the filter stood up to all the mud caked in it and did not allow any to enter the engine, I drove the truck home 40 miles before I could clean the filter and in my opinion the filter saved my engine.

PS - this was in the jersey pine barrens which has sand laced mud

Dear K&N,
Two months ago I purchased a FIPK 2 for my 2000 GMC Sierra and what a difference it made, power you can feel. The Sierra now to me has a better throttle response.

Thanks Again,

Great Filter!
Dear Sirs,
I installed a K&N filter in my 2002 Cavalier Z24 about 6 months ago, and I have seen a definite improvement in around town gas mileage. I was getting 22mpg but now I am getting around 25mpg since installing the filter. The cars ran really good before the installation but I have noticed a definite improvement in torque and power. Plus, the filter creates a cool sounding intake "roar" under acceleration and now the car has the sound to match the looks. You have sold me on being a lifelong customer and I will be purchasing your filters for every car I own in the future. Keep up the good work!

FIPK Performance - I am on my second 92-95 Honda Civic with a 1.5L non-VETC, and I just wanted to let you know that of all the performance mods that I have done on my cars, my K&N has been the greatest investment I could ever make. With 146,000 miles on the latest car when I bought it, I installed my kit right away. The absolute power that it generates was unbelievable. Within one week I put on nearly 1,500 miles getting around 35 under extreme conditions and more than that when my foot stays out of the gas. I love the feel and the sound of the filter so much that my wife now has one on her 92 Toyota 4x4.

Thank you,

Hey,
I drive a Holden Commodore S pack Ute powered by a 3.8 Ecotec V6. Fitting the K&N filter has improved power, accelerator responsiveness and now gives a crisper note. I didn't write this to sell K&N products instead just to tell it how it is. I would recommend and do recommend putting these filters in your engines as they have worked for me. It would have to be the cheapest "mod" that actually gives results. I could keep writing but will run out of space.

Thanks

I would just like to drop you a line on my experience on K&N Filters. We currently own a 2004 Honda Pilot and get 22 mpg on the highway. I decided to try you product and see if we could perhaps pick up 1 mpg as gas prices are on the rise. I installed my filter and had taken a trip from Raleigh, NC to Virginia Beach, Virginia. With the AC on, 4 people in the car which is 4400 lbs empty we got 26 MPG. I am going to purchase a filter for my other car which is a 98 Honda Accord EX.

Thanks K&N,

Just installed your air filter in my Porsche Carrera 4 having used your product in my Honda. Immediately, I felt and heard the difference in the distinct Porsche "growl".....much smoother and the acceleration seems to be "tweaked". Will update with the fuel economy results. By the way, I get 825km's/ 515 miles per tank on the Honda ( V-Tech).
