I was not one who gives into all the hype about a product until I saw the in store demo, that is what sold me on the product. I have also found the part number for my other vehicle which I will now go to the store and buy because it is on the road 5 days a week for work and the cost of gas continues to rise. I am sure this will help. Also I tell all my friends and family about this product. Hopefully they listen to me.

K&N Filter
Hi, back again with more praise for the great product you produce, this time fitted to a Yamaha XJR1300S 2004 cycle and hey what a difference these things make to it. The "darn" thing just fires up fine and runs like a dream, sure glad it was fitted and I do not care about the fuel savings (I know they do exist) together with precious metal plugs this bike is terrific.

Fan-Freakin'-Tastic
I bought a FIPK last fall for my '99 Durango and what a difference it made! I couldn't believe how incredibly bad the factory air box restricted the flow!!! The throttle response has improved drastically and so has the acceleration and power! I even get 297 miles out of about a 3/4 tank of gas where I used to only get about 273 miles. Just a word of thanks from a very satisfied customer. Now I need one for an '05 Toyota Matrix XR 4WD!!! When is it coming?!?! Thanks a bazillion!

K&N - Infinity I35
I recently purchased a 2003 Infinity I35 and had checked the mpg after three tanks of fuel. I purchase your product and watched the fuel economy go up 1.5 mpg. It really accelerates better also.
Great product! Thank you.

Hey I bought a Gen. II Cold air intake for my 1996 Chevy Blazer that has a 4.3L. I would like to say it's great! Very clear instructions and easy to put together with no modifying. I'm very satisfied with your product and will highly recommend to friends of mine. I could tell the difference in power when I got onto the freeway and also gained 3.7 MPG.
Thanks again,

Grand Prix GTP - I replaced the stock filter with the K&N filter and box 3 years ago at 18k miles. Car has 72k now. I instantly noticed more power and mileage increase about 2.5 MPG on the highway and 2 mpg around town. Recently I put the stock air box and filter back in for 1 month to see the difference.... You could notice right away the drop in power and mileage back to factory numbers. Re-installed the K&N.........Back to 2.5 mpg gain and noticeable increased power right away. Even my wife noticed it ! Great products and easy to maintain. Why these filters aren't stock in all new vehicles is beyond me! I now have them in all of our cars.

AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!
To the great minds at K & N,
I just installed the fipk generation 2 on my 1999 Ford Ranger 4.0 liter v6 and I can't believe the throttle response. It is like I installed a 4 barrel where I had a 2 barrel and actually the roar from under the hood reminds me of the sound the muscle cars of the 60's when you put the peddle down to the floor. I haven't had a chance to check if the fipk is going to save me any gas because I get a kick out of the look on people's faces when I run it through 1st and second gear hard. K & N has really made a believer out of me...Worth every penny and really easy to install....Just 40 minutes from start to roar.....BRAVO ZULU!!!

I have used a K&N filter in every car and motorcycle I've ever owned. I have used them ever since a friend referred me to them and have seen fuel efficiency gains up to 10% and horsepower gains up to 15 hp. Thank you for the many years of dependable quality products. Anyone concerned with gas prices i.e. everyone, should get one.

2002 Porsche Boxster S
Just dropped in your filter to replace the stock paper filter last night...reset computer on the car this AM. Car idles very smoothly at 700rpm. When driving there is a noticeable improvement in throttle response through out the entire rpm range....but put the peddle to the floor and you can hear and feel the difference. With the gas peddle floored I can tell a distinct difference in performance and the exhaust now sounds much more aggressive (actually kind of "mean", I like that!)...car only has approx. 21,000 miles, but the K&N has made a distinct difference. I also have one in my 95 Cherokee that I've owned for eight years...bought with 59,000 miles and now has 170,000 miles and still runs like new....

I Can't Believe It
I can't believe it, but it's true what people are saying about the KN filter. I'm using the KN filter for the first time and what a big improvement it made for my 2005 Chevy Avalanche. Now my wife wants it placed in her SUV 2005 Equinox and my son as well in looking forward to purchasing the high performance. With gas prices on the rise this is a great way to save money and bring better performance to your new or old vehicle. My son has me thinking about the high performance air charger (air intake) as well as the oil filter. A customer for life...

I originally installed a K&N filter in a 1984 S10 Blazer with a 2.8liter engine. I noticed a difference at startup. It used to hesitate when starting, but not anymore. I have since, sold the Blazer and have installed K&N filters on every car I've owned. Most recently is my 1999 Dodge Dakota which I installed a FIPK II and noticed results in performance and fuel economy. I was also in the Coast Guard for four years. K&N filters are used in the Patrol boat and in both of the Motor Life Boats that I was stationed with.
Keep up the good work,

I just wanted you to know we have many opportunities to verify hp improvements with K&N Filters and were always impressed even in custom applications we fabricate using a K&N Filter and our intake tubes. Recently we ran a 1999 Pontiac Firebird 5.7 on our Dynapack chassis dyno and saw a 10 hp improvement @ the wheels in a completely stock vehicle with the stock replacement K&N part number 33-2118. We must say that no matter what K&N is a huge improvement over stock. If you are questioning whether or not you should purchase one, stop now and pull out your checkbook and order yours today! Once again my hands are in the air.

All I can say is this filter is AMAZING! I installed your stock replacement filter into my 2002 Jeep Liberty with 80,000 miles on it and it seems that I am just baaaarely touching the gas and am cruising along at highway speeds. It's unbelievable how great these filters make a car run! I'm absolutely positive I am going to get MUCH better gas mileage which is going to be great since gas prices are getting up so high. I was getting only 19 highway with the old stock air filter which must have needed replaced badly. I know that my gas mileage is going to improve beyond what I was hoping for. I'm gonna guess near 30 Highway with what I have seen so far. I would use almost a half tank of gas in a week poking around town, and after my first week, have barely used a quarter. It seems I am having to use the brakes more now because the car just keeps on going and going (a welcome side effect). I was going to get a different car, but now I am once again loving driving the Jeep. I am ordering 2 more filters for our Volvo 240's and I'm telling everyone I know about these awesome filters! You live up to your claim of "The Worlds Best Air Filter" and I wish I had heard of you years ago!

Dear K&N filters,
This product has improved gas mileage on my 2002 honda 6 cylinder engine as I tested between 55 to 60 mile per hour going to work. It has increase from approximately from 29.58235 to 31.72 mpg and perhaps even better with non stop trips. This product is a must for rising gas prices.

K&N,
About 2 weeks after getting my 04 Tiburon I bought your drop in filter for my car and it did good, saw about a 2 mpg increase, of an average of about 24.3mpg on the highway. But then that wasn't enough, so I went down and ordered your typhoon intake(69-5300ts) from a local speed shop, and all I can say is "WOWZA!". I installed it in about 45 minutes and I couldn't believe the difference it made and the sound is awesome! Just to let you know my friends say it sounds like i have an exhaust but I don't it sounds that good!! I recently went to a dyno and saw about a 13 whp over stock and 14 wtq over stock (just shows you how restrictive that stock intake system is) and the best part is I now get about 28mpg on the highway when I keep my foot out of it that is. I was just wanting to tell you guys thank you so much for a great product it rocks!! You have a customer for life!!! (note: I have had the intake for about 1/2 a year and it still performs awesome!)
Thank you,

Thanks K&N, I have seen an 8hp improvement and 10.2lb/ft torque improvement over stock. I drag race at Rock Falls Raceway in EauClaire, WI, and I have seen a .25 second improvement. MPG gains have been 5-6, which is great, considering the tall gears the Sentra has.

Dear sirs:
All I can say is most people won't believe this but then it's their loss...in miles per gallon that is. I Own 2 Harleys, a 1979 HD Sportster that several years ago I put a K&N air filter on and felt like it doubled it's performance, and a 1999 FLSTF Fat Boy. I didn't rest there, as a year ago I put a K&N on my 2001 Dodge Ram Quad cab Cummins turbo diesel and also felt the increase in performance not to mention the scream of that turbo that I had never really heard from the factory.
Recently two of my buddies and I went on a motorcycle trip to Stecoah, N.C. Before going on the trip I changed all my fluids and serviced the whole bike. I decided to buy a K&N air filter and pitch the stock one. They were riding a 2003 Honda Goldwing, a 2005 Harley Davidson Roadking and I took my 99 Fat Boy. Prior to installing the K&N my Fat Boy got between 40 & 43 MPG. As we went from fuel stop to fuel stop my mileage was as follows: 43 MPG, 47 MPG, 46 MPG, 48 MPG and 52 MPG EVERY tank after that. My buddies only mustered 44 -46 MPG. Most people would ask what about the weight and the speed. Well both my saddle bags were packed, I had a bag with 20 lbs. on my luggage rack, plus my TBags weighed in at about 50 lbs. The weight we carried was all about the same. The motorcycle weights were different, but not enough to warrant the major difference in MPG. Also mine is carbureted and theirs are fuel injected. As far as the speeds, we were cruising on the interstate at 70 to 80 MPH through a whole fuel run which was about 200 miles. Even when I was on the tail of the dragon, which is 318 turns in 11 miles, my mileage stayed at 52 MPG. All I can say is after over 1700 miles on that trip the K&N definitely paid for itself with the increase of 9-12 MPG.
So everyone has a choice. you can pay at the pumps or spend that money on the LAST air filter you will EVER buy.

I just installed the K & N system on my 2004 4.6 Ford Explorer. My gas mileage has improves around town by 2 mpg & 4 mpg on highway. The throttle response is amazing. I can tell HP has improved. I have a performance rear end so it really moves for an SUV. Next step s to get filter for my 1997 Acura 3.5 RL with only 49,000 miles.
Just a great product.

Hi to all at K&N,
A great product launched in India. I Was the first to buy the filter for my Fiat Palio 1.2. It Was lacking the horses in my car as it is only a 1.2 but after I replaced my old filter with yours, man my car moves now!! Really very happy with the product and I am looking forward to fit it on my new car, a Maruti Baleno 1.6. The Mumbai, India dealer was a great help in convincing me to buy this filter for my car.
Keep up the good work.

Yesterday I switched out my (competitor air intake name removed) to the 69 Series Typhoon (CCA). I drive a 2004 Nismo Failady Z, and all I can say is WOW!!!!!! This system kicks A**! The throttle response is out of control, as is the quicker acceleration from a dead stop or at 70-100mph rolling on it. It also sounds cool. You can hear the air being forced into the intake (similar sound to a Turbo) as is the response (quick). This product was definitely made for the Nissan Z. We dyno'd it 3x today. It shows an increase or 13HP, 10WHP. I am now pushing over 400 at the motor and just under 400 at the wheels. After the Twin Turbo is installed, who knows where I'll be. I want to thank K&N for being loyal to their followers and continuing to produce the best street series parts that will rock your world.
P.S.
To any 350Z owners, this is a no brain-er. Get one, you WILL NOT BE SORRY. I do not like sharing my HP secrets but what the heck, this is worth sharing. Thanks K&N!!!!

Honda Civic '94
I was driving a Civic for 4 years before I sold it 2 years ago. The car is superbly fast in acceleration after I used the K&N replacement filter. My other friends on the same car model can feel great difference when they test drove my car. Now I bought a new Nissan Sunny, I am going to purchase a K&N filter as I strongly believe it will help its acceleration and petrol consumption!

Last week I installed the 63 Series Gen II FIPK in my 2004 F-150 4x4 5.4L 3V Lariat and I have been raving about it ever since, so I figured I would let you guys know as well. It sounds great for a bonus, but the real deal is the definite difference in acceleration, and more importantly, improved towing. I just towed my boat for the first time 180 miles roundtrip, and where I could never use o/d due to constant rpm revving, since installing the FIPK, I literally don't notice the boat behind me with o/d on, as the rpm's never had to rev up. Great product and I have told all my Ford truck owning friends! Oh, and did I mention a 5 mpg improvement on highway driving?

57 Series FIPK for 2002 Chevy Tahoe
This past week I installed a 57 Series FIPK on my 2002 Chevy Tahoe 5.3 liter V-8 4WD. There was an instant increase in throttle response and power. This 8 Cylinder can finally breath and the sound it makes when it does is beautiful. Seeing is believing. So I've proudly demonstrated the increase in performance to others and have a convinced a few to buy one for their vehicles.
I don't know how I went so long without one.

I am a quarter midget mom and we use the K&N air filters on our car. It is a weekly ritual for me to clean the air filters. I usually bring the filter home and clean it with dawn dish soap in my kitchen sink. Recently our local pep boys store had a sale running on the air filter kit which we decided to buy for the oil but that kit also contained the cleaner which I had never used on our micro sprint nor the quarter midget in our past 8 years of racing. So anyway I read the directions and sprayed the cleaner on the filter and let it sit in my kitchen sink to soak for the 10 minutes, I got busy and had to run out of the house so it ended up sitting there for a few hours. When I got home I went to continue cleaning the filter and low and behold when I picked up the filter there was a beautiful white spot in my very old porcelain sink. So I grabbed the cleaner a sprayed the entire sink left it soak for awhile rubbed (not scrub) over it with a brush and I now have a very white shiny sink. I have tried everything to clean this sink and nothing would take away that dingy yellow old hard water stains until now. I will be using the cleaner from now on (and maybe even trying it in the bathroom).
I also wanted to add that the filter, cleaner, and oil all work excellent for there intended purpose (keeping a lot of the dirt from ruining our engines) as well. Thanks!

Just want to say thanks for an AMAZING product. I recently purchased your Gen1 FIPK for my '92 F-150 5.0L... The motor runs smoother than ever, the increase in acceleration is tremendous, and the sound this kit makes is jaw-dropping. It's a real head-turner! Thanks, K&N!

Dear K & N,
A little over a year ago, I purchased a replacement K & N Air Filter Element for my 2003 Toyota Highlander SUV. At that time, the Highlander had about 15,000 miles. This Highlander is powered by Toyota's V6 and has 4WD. Most of my driving is highway with about 5% city driving. Being in New England, the AC in the summer and the 4WD in the winter provides for additional operating costs. With the ever increasing price of gas, I was looking for some ways to save on fuel costs and your filter provided such a possibility. My initial checks determined an increase of 4.38 % with your air filter installed in place of the factory original.
I am please to let you know that overall, after nearly 25,000 additional miles of this type of driving, I am still experiencing this 4% increase in fuel economy. With today's gas prices soaring, the monetary return on this modest investment is ever greater and with a shorter pay back time. Your sales must be booming - Thanks!
Thanks again!!!!!!

Okay this story started with my 1998 Honda Valkyrie (bought new and regularly serviced). After being told to change the filter for over a year by some other rider/mechanic friends, I finally gave in and bought the K&N filter. I had to recheck my numbers several times before I believed the results. This bike went from an average of 28-30 MPG to 35 MPG......This just couldn't be right? So I tried it again on my 1999 F150 and got good results but the final straw was last week. I bought a 1999 Jeep Wrangler with the 4.0 six cylinder with 46000 miles. Now these 4X4's are fun but not known as economical. I replaced the air intake with a (K&N) FIPK system and again had to smile at the results. Better than 19 MPG on the highway???? Are you guys kidding me???? I've told everyone that would listen about my results (and some that didn't ask). Can I have a job guys? I want to tell everybody about these systems. I've just written to your product line looking for a FIPK for my RV....if there isn't one produced yet, there dang sure should be!
No kidding, I'd be proud to represent your company......I'm really jazzed.
Thanks,

Just wanted to pass on my Kudos to such a great product. I have a 2003 Suburban with the 5.3l engine. I installed the 77-3023 kit about a month ago and have not looked back. I tow a boat on the weekends and just last week took a trip up in the mountains of Colorado. The true "performance" of the kit really showed while going up several steep mountain grades. Other vehicles had emergency flashers on because they could not keep their speed up while going up the hill. Not so with the my Suburban and the K&N 77 kit loaded down with luggage and family. It was not only able to keep up speed, but had plenty of power in reserve.

I love it! I have only had my air filter for two days. I instantly noticed a dramatic difference! Throttle response is totally different. MUCH IMPROVED!! I haven't had it long enough to see the improvement in gas mileage, but I'm eagerly anticipating it. And the value, I'll spend the same amount for one k&n filter that I'll spend on a years worth of other filters, but I will never buy another again!!! Well at least until I buy another vehicle and then I will Immediately buy a K&N for it!!! I LOVE IT and I'll never use another brand!!!!

GREAT PRODUCT
I work for a parts house in Cincinnati Ohio and I have bought 2 of these units for my soon to be wife's 2001 Pontiac Aztek and my parent's 2001 E-150 4.2 v-6 and I love these air filters. The quality of the filter is top notch and couldn't be better plus on the Aztek if you've ever had to change the air filter you know it is in a pain of a place to replace every 15,000 mile so .... not only will I have to clean it less often (which saves me heads because of where it is) but she gets better gas mileage better acc. and more BHP, out of a FWD SUV....makes me and her happy.... as far as my parents E-150 $78.00 fill up, every little mpg COUNTS and like I said before the filter is top notch and the acceleration and BHP is increased.....great product and keep up the good work....

Dear K&N,
I have a 2004 Ford Ranger 4.0L V6. I recently installed your K&N replacement panel filter into the vehicle. I quickly saw an increase in gas mileage from 19 (with OEM) to 21 (with K&N). This is a great improvement in mileage for this engine. I have had the filter installed for about a year now and am proud to say that the filtered side of the intake pipe is spotless, and the MAF sensor that sits just inches from the K&N is clean and spotless. I am truly convinced that this filter does a great job filtering, AND increases gas mileage. Thanks!

Greetings K&N,
At the suggestion of my friend who is a car enthusiast, I installed a K&N in my '73 Mustang restoration because I wanted increased H.P. with a stock look. WOW!!... what a difference in performance!
OK... 12 years later during this gas crunch, I was looking for every bit of mileage I could get out of my Taurus Wagon (it is hard letting go) so I bought a K&N filter. The results were UNBELIEVABLE. I thought I made a math error but it was no mistake; my mileage jumped from 20 to 25 MPG with two flips of the retainers!
Congratulations K & N, your team just dropped my local gas price by 40 cents a gallon.

Just thought I'd pass along my first impressions about your products. I bought a K&N air filter today from my local "auto" store for my 2004 F-150 Super Crew. I had to wait for two days for one to come in as my store was NIS. By the time I drove my truck approximately 25 miles to another part of town the filter's performance convinced me to buy another one for my daughter's F-150 Super Crew. So I stopped in at another location and bought the second filter for her truck. You guys have convinced me without a shadow of a doubt. thanks!

Hi There
Just thought I would drop a line from the other side of the planet (New Zealand), I have a K&N Pod filter fitted to my 4WD, and the other day while 4wding I managed to do a end over roll with a double sideway roll into a Pond, landing upside down, the whole vehicle was submerged. As a result the snorkel that is usually at the top is now buried in mud. As you would expect this caused the motor to ingest some water thru the K&N filter. I am now in the process of cleaning out everything including the filter. The water in the motor was clean and grit free, the intake pipe from filter to throttle body had crushed flat. I have just removed the filter from its housing and was astounded to see the outer completely clogged with mud, and the inside of the filter very clean. Your filters are great for air, but work equally well under water!! I have attached a couple of photos for you to look at.
Impressed,

Back in April I mentioned that I put one of your air filters in my 2004 f 150 telling that it worked great. Gas mileage was better and throttle response was noticeable. Well since then I decided to go all the way with your FIPK 2 intake system and wow...what a difference. Throttle response was amazing and I am now saving about 1/4 of a tank a week in gas. I didn't know that air flow could make such a difference! Thanks again

MABUHAY!! I'm from the Philippines. I Own a 2004 Chevrolet Venture LT 3.0 V6 and a 2000 Ford Lynx GHIA 1.6 both fitted with K&N air filters. First on the Chevy venture on straight highways I achieve 11.63 km/l, on city driving (traffic) only 5.5 km/l but from the stock filter the fuel efficiency was only around 10 km/l on highways and 5 km/l on city driving. For the Ford Lynx the fuel efficiency was from 7 km/l to 8.2 km/l this was tested for 3000 km. This product is good in the sense that you won't replace filters anymore, it has great air flow, gives power and increase your mpg.. I recommend this to all car owners who love their cars.

Hi,
Just a quick note to thank you for the air filter for my Citroen C5 2.2 HDi. Fuel consumption was up to over 40mpg with much better throttle response and acceleration. I bought your replacement filter for my 1996 Ford Explorer 4wd. The first thing I noticed was the increase in the engine power, and gas improvement. Before I installed it I was getting around 21 highway and after I installed it I was getting 25 mpg! I was so impressed after the first month I went out and bought the FIPK. I am IMPRESSED! This improved almost everything from fuel economy to sound to acceleration! It cut my 0-60 time from 8.2 seconds to 6.9 seconds! This is by far the BEST product I have EVER bought for my Explorer!
Thanks.

The increase in performance is amazing, even with a light touch on the pedal....and with the first tank of gas after installation I had an increase in MPG of 10%....more go and less fuel...sounds like a winning combination for my Mazda and K&N....now we just put one in our Grand Am...can't wait to see the improvements.

I run K&N air filters in both of my auto's and have been getting excellent performance and mileage. When I purchased my Saturn new the same week I pulled the restrictive factory filter and replaced it with a K&N.

I have the generation 2 injection system (FIPK) on my 2001 Dodge diesel. My truck is dyno charted at 425 Hp and 850 ft/lbs torque and I just wanted to let K&N know how great I think the air filter is on my truck. Now I have a greater turbo boost, added Hp, greater air flow and sounds awesome helping the turbo breath. Thanks K&N

WOW!!!
After a few years of getting lousy gas mileage out of my 2002 Chevy Trailblazer LTZ, I finally listened to my father, who has been a loyal K&N customer for years. He had been telling me that I would most definitely see a considerable difference in fuel consumption. He was right! I installed your air filter in it three weeks ago, and instead of averaging 15 mpg (city and highway), I am now averaging 20.9 mpg. I was so happy that I put one in my 2002 Impala LS, and my 1997 Camry XLE. I guess the moral of my story is "father knows best". Thank you for making such a great product.

K&N-there is no substitute.
I've been a K&N filter user for a few years now, but it's my newest K&N purchase that deserves the spotlight and was/is well worth the money. My 02 Mustang GT Conv has just acquired a Generation II FIPK® kit and boy does it make a difference! The purchase experience was a nightmare due to "package tampering", but after 2 trips back to XYZ retailer, it all worked out. This unit, along with my "performance" mufflers, has put some serious kick in my pony's tail! Both performance items were added at the same time, so I'm unable to determine which part played the more dramatic increase role. But who can argue with a 10+HP gain just by using more air. And cleaner air at that! I've noticed extremely smooth acceleration and even smoother throttle lift-off. The car sounds better at idle, gave me a few more MPG's in 'normal' driving situations over the course of 400 miles this weekend...but more important of these perks is the instant throttle response and power you can feel from 1500-3500 rpm. And of course, the all out full throttle test is a no brainer. The car now screams in 2nd gear! Amazing. Like others on this message board, I've been reluctant about purchasing a major $ item like this...but know this: If you are interested in a simple, 40 minute horsepower gain without the headache that can plague many aftermarket parts.. BUY THIS PRODUCT! K&N knows filters and K&N has made horsepower accessible to anyone with a screwdriver.

I installed a K&N Air Filter in our 2003 Mini Cooper about 1 Year ago. What a difference it made. The hesitation that I had when I gave it the Gas is gone. The Gas Mileage, which was Great to begin with, also improved. I was so impressed that when we bought Our New 2005 Saturn Quad Cope Last week for our second Car I bought a K&N Air Filter for it & installed it the 3rd day after the purchase. Now our Mini & our Saturn have the Best Air Filter in them. The vehicle we traded in for the Saturn also had a K&N Filter. It is a Great Product. Thanks.
