Well what can I say - I have been riding a Yamaha Dragstar XVS 650cc for some years now with standard air filter, and after replacing it with a K&N air filter I shall never go back to the standard - once you start up the bike you can instantly hear the air intake and the throttle response is so much faster.  I would recommend K&N over standard bike air filters any day.

Intake Kit

I have a 2004 Ford Focus with a 2.3L.  I installed a K&N Aircharger part # 63-1101 in about 30 minutes.  What a difference.  The throttle response and drive-ability increase was unbelievable.  Its clear you spent a lot of time developing this part.  Thank you it was definitely worth the money.

Thanks so much
I just installed your cold are intake and I am very impressed with the change.  I own a 2001 Silverado with the 5.3 V8.  I did get 18-19 mpg, but now I'm managing 21-22mpg.  That's incredible for a V8 4X4.  Take off is outstanding compared to previously.  Also the sound is a big improvement.  On hard take offs, (very common in my daily driving) you can actually hear it pull so much more air.  And at cruising, (90-95mph) it has a slight whistle to it.  I love it.  It is the best thing I have done for any of my vehicles.  I advise it to anyone with an engine of any type.  Thanks so much for your product.  I really do appreciate it.

Increased Fuel Economy

I imagine that stories such as this are not unusual for you to receive.  I installed an FIPK (air intake) on my 2002 Ford F-250 S Crew Super Duty Off Road 4x4 pickup truck.  The best mileage I could get before this, even with a K&N Filter replacing the factory cartridge was 11.5 mpg.  I installed the FIPK and drove it around town for about a week before I left on a trip driving from Pittsburgh to Detroit.  The around town performance increased in reference to power on the hills we have around here.  On the trip to Detroit which is mostly on Interstates was uneventful except that when I filled up after getting to Michigan my calculator told me that I got 16 mpg!  I thought I'd made some mistake!  I never expected to recognize that much of an increase!  I zeroed out my trip meter and kept track of the mileage all over again.  The next time I filled up it came out to 15.8 mpg!  I ran the test one more time during the last part of the trip and got 15.9 mpg!  I was in shocked disbelief.  I had recorded all the other figures for fuel consumption and miles and gave them to my buddy to double check my figures I thought maybe my calculator was broken but he came up with the same figures.

I never expected to get a 4.5 mpg increase!  I've been cautious about telling anyone else about the improvement because I didn't think they would believe me.  With 87 octane gasoline at $2.29 per gallon I figure the FIPK should pay for itself very quickly.

MY K&N
I put one in my 2000 Dodge Ram a couple yeas ago and I love the way it works for me.  Better gas mileage and performance and it also looks sharp.  Never a second thought.

I put a K&N air filter on my 1994 Toyota 4Runner when I purchased it new in September of 1993.  220,000 miles and 12 1/2 years later the K&N filter is in perfect shape, with just routine cleaning and oiling.

I know I have saved a bundle not buying replacement air filters over the years.  Thanks for a great product.

Super Duty drivers take note

I just purchased the entire K&N system (intake) for my 2004 Ford F-350 super duty.  The power improvement is there all right, and the mpg went from 11 mpg to 14 mpg.  Even under while plowing snow in four wheel drive the truck performs far better.  Thank you for such a great product.

My expectations have been exceeded.  I already had faith in the use of a K&N filter increasing performance and gas mileage, but I never expected this!  What a difference, in 2 minutes my 1998 Jeep Cherokee 4.0L 4x4 could finally take in a deep breath of clean air!  I use my truck for highway and off road use and the extra bit of "get er' done" really makes it fun out on the trails.  I don't have any data to prove any of this, but you can definitely feel the difference when you step on it.  I had previously upgraded my exhaust with a "performance" muffler which has a flow through design.  After I did this I did notice a small increase in power and the sound was nice too...the real reason I bring this up is because after I added the K&N replacement filter the sound improved greatly and it really does get up and go now!  I am very impressed with this product and will definitely recommend it to all of my friends, family and strangers I meet at Canadian Tire buying a paper filter!!  DON'T DO IT!  I know I have already gotten my money's worth out of this filter.  The gas mileage, the extra power, the better sound...and not to mention the added protection of such a well designed filter which never has to be replaced!  This is great!  Less garbage at the landfills, which I am a huge fan of and did I mention you never have to replace it...oh how my Jeep loves your product.  A great investment for any automobile enthusiast or environmentally conscious driver.   Remember you're saving gas which pollutes the air plus saving it from ending up in a landfill!  Think of how many air filters are being tossed out every year assuming the average driver would hopefully change it once a year.  You get the picture and I hope now you switch to K&N.  I highly recommend it!

I put a K&N Cone filter on my 96 Chevy S-10 about 60,000 miles ago and its still holding up GREAT.  Gave me a little bit more power.  I love the Sound it makes when you gas it!!! It makes my exhaust louder too.  I'm very impressed, love the K&N cone filter!!! I will always buy K&N!!!!!

Hello:
I own the very first car I ever was a passenger in: a '66 Oldsmobile Delta 88, and recently purchased a K&N filter for it after I had the 425 under the hood partially rebuilt.  This is not the first K&N I have owned, and it will not be the last.  I have always been impressed with the money I have saved by buying these reusable filters, and have noticed a slight improvement in throttle response and fuel economy.

Both my 425 and I thank you for such a good product!

Now if you could make a K&N cabin filter for my '02 Pontiac Montana ...

The amazing K&N air filter

I put a K&N in my 1992 Jeep Cherokee and immediately noticed a big difference.  I now have 183,000 miles on my Jeep and still average about twenty to twenty two mile per gallon.  As a mechanic I believe with a paper filter my results would be far different, keep up the good work guys.

My neighbor that owns a Honda Civic suggested that I buy a K & N Air Filter for my Toyota Tercel.  After reading some of the comments posted on this site, I decided to look into it.  The average price for a filter for the Tercel was $46 so I went ahead and ordered one.  I installed it a few days ago and went on a 5 hour road trip yesterday.  I could not believe the difference in the amount of power my car has.  I didn't do anything but install the K&N Air Filter.  I also noted that after 5 hours of driving my gas tank would normally be almost empty, but yesterday I still had a little over 1/4 of a tank.  I haven't figured out my gas mileage yet, but there is no doubt that it has improved.  I would highly recommend one of these filters.  The difference in the way the car drives and the extra gas mileage makes it well worth it.  If you do a lot of driving like I do, the cost of buying this filter will pay for itself in gas savings.  I wish someone would have told me about K&N Filters earlier.  GREAT PRODUCT!!!

K&N Aircharger
Just had your Aircharger (Air Intake) installed on my 2006 mustang GT and I’m VERY pleased with the results, I can definitely tell a difference in the acceleration.  I had a set of (performance) mufflers put on about a week before and between the two my Mustang sounds and runs really good.  THANKS for a wonderful product.

Toyota 75 Series Ute.

I owned a 1995 Toyota 75 series 4.2 litre Ute.  I could not drive from Cloncurry to Longreach on one tank of fuel.  I was lucky to get 495 kilometers to 84 litres of fuel at 2,600 revs. which is about 112 kmh Plus the vechicle was sluggish and had to be driven hard to get up and going.  It was recommended by a friend I fit a K&N filter.  I noticed the difference immediately driving in town.  The vechicle would pull in 5th gear at 40kmh and keep gaining speed without having to put the pedal to the metal.  I left Southport on the Gold Coast and drove to the main highway rounabout at Rockhampton before switching to the front tank.  Odometer read 712 klm's on one tank the vechicle was fitted with two fuel tanks.  I could get 84 litres out of the rear tank and 87 litres out of the front tank.  I drove 1466 kilometers at 2,600rpm on both tanks of fuel.  I could achieve 600+ around town because the vechicle didn't require hard driving to get to speed.  The vechicle went from returning around 5.5 klm's to a litre to around 8.57 klm's a litre.  I would recommend the fitting of a K&N air filter to any vechicle.  I have one fitted to my wife's Mitsubishi Galant GSR. and have now fitted one to my Landrover Discovery Tdi

I bought and installed a replacement filter for my 05 Mitsubishi Eclipse GTS yesterday (# 33-2072).  I noticed a big difference right away, better acceleration, more power and my exhaust sounds better.  I wasn't expecting that big of a change, it exceeds all my expectations.  Thanks for a great product, keep up the good work!

The first thing I do when I buy a new car is get a K&N Air Filter.  I learned years ago that no other filter can match your K&N.  At today's gas prices a little gain in mileage is worth the money and of course everyone likes a few more horses under the hood.  You have nothing to loose and a lot to gain.

Thank you so much K&N for an excellent product.  One I learned that really works for a small amount of money. That is a hard deal to beat.

K&N FIPK on a 2004 Crown Victoria Sport

Gentlemen: I installed a FIPK system on my 2004 Crown Vic LX Sport this AM.  I purchased this automobile new in May of 2004.  The stock dual mufflers were changed to 10" glasspacks the day of purchase.  This car now has 34,000 miles on it & runs much better than any of my previous Crown Vics (1993 & 1999).  I immediately noticed & felt a vast improvement in the acceleration of this car when the FIPK system was installed.  The car shows an improvement in acceleration while in OD at 70 + mph.  The system cannot be heard at normal driving speeds but when "putting your foot in it" the increased intake can be heard with the sound of the duals.  The owner of the Ford dealership, after driving my car, ordered a system for his Lincoln Town car.

To everyone at K&N,
I recently purchased and installed a K&N typhoon kit for my 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier.  The vehicle has the Ecotec engine new to GM's small car line.  The installation was a breeze.  The instructions you sent me, truly made this a one hour job. (very easy, and fun) The fit and finish of the Typhoon kit was perfect, everything laid right into place with ease, and was very well designed.  While shopping for my intake, I noticed that K&N was the only company that included a Manual transmission clutch reservoir relocation bracket in the kit. (because my car's reservoir was built onto the stock airbox that was replaced by the Typhoon kit)  Other intake brands charged extra for this piece.  To make a long story short, the intake showed a 6hp gain to the wheels on my vehicle, which is a 2.2l four cyl. with 140hp stock.  This gain can be felt at the mid to top end of the rpm range.  Another great thing about this intake, is that it remains quiet, and inaudible in tone, and then gives a great sound at wide open throttle.  So you don't constantly have to hear the tone of the intake, until you're ready to use it.  All in all I found this intake kit to be well worth the money and I would install one on other cars in the future!  Keep making a quality product for Sport Compacts and I will keep buying them!

Thanks K&N!

Dear K & N,
I have just purchased a K & N air filter for my 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 with the 5.7 L Hemi.  I am truly impressed! The increase in throttle response and overall "pep" is amazing.  The 5.7 L Hemi is an amazing engine in it own right, however your product has made an excellent engine even better.  Thanks to all of you for such a high quality product that truly delivers. You have yet another very satisfied customer.

Thanks K&N Filters,
We race super late models in the Nascar Dodge weekly racing series in Las Vegas, Nevada.  We installed a K&N oil filter HP5001 in place of brand-X and noticed after one race when we would normally change our oil, that we could go at least two races.  After two races we noticed that we still didn't have to change our oil.  "What is going on we asked" so we called the tech staff and they started laughing at what we were saying because they already knew what the capabilities of the filter were. They told us: don't be surprised if you don't have to change your oil for 4-5 races. Wow our maintenance budget was cut 2/3rds. We race with K&N oil filters and only with K&N oil filters. To top it all off, the filter is cheaper than brand-x!

Dear k&n.

I am really happy with k&n 33-2145-1 air filter. Fuel economy and acceleration improved a lot.

Thank you k&n.

UPDATE - February 7, 2006: The fuel economy has increased dramatically from 12.5L/100 to 9.2L/100. Easy to start the vehicle. Better acceleration. Quick gear change.  Basically I feel like I am driving a completely new car.

Dear K & N:
I recently purchased an Air Charger for my 2006 Dodge Charger RT with the 5.7 liter multi displacement Hemi engine. The immediate increase in horse power on a car that already packs plenty of muscle was incredible! My Charger takes off like a rocket and simply is not the same care.

To my absolute shock, however, is the dramatic increase in fuel economy. I am getting an average of 3 more miles per gallon for city driving and 2 more miles per gallon for steady highway driving.

Installing a K & N Air Charger system on a 2006 Dodge Charger RT must have been what Dodge had in mind when they went public with a national television advertisement campaign to inform viewers that the "Charger had been unleashed." After installing a K & N Air Charger system my Charger truly has been unleashed!

Just a few lines to say that I am a confirmed K&N customer and I believe that your oil filters are the best and I buy enough to keep my Chevy powered Jaguar supplied for 12 months at a time. The reason that new vehicle manufacturers don't fit your great products is that they must have vested interests elsewhere; they probably make more moola from the ever suffering public who are only cannon fodder for the RICH.

Thanks for giving the "Average Joe" a fair deal!! Merry Xmas to All ....

Great results with K&N 57i induction kit.

Hi There,
I would like to thank you all at k&n for producing great filters and kits. Recently I bought one of your induction kits(57i kit) for the Volkswagen Polo 1.6 mpi, the difference is astounding, WHAT A NOISE, also increased power and torque, Brilliant. Engine was ok stock but now it's brilliant, It breathes so much better and responds so much quicker, and the car now sounds awesome, 3rd gear and floor it and it flies!!!!!!. Should have got one much earlier. It was my friend who introduced me to them. He had kits on his fiesta and escort.

THANK YOU.

I installed a K&N air filter about three years ago in my 99 F-150. 4X since then I've put about a 75,000 miles on it, during that I've been through all types of mud, dirt, and sand. I figured it was time for cleaning the other day so I bought a cleaning kit and when I pulled the filter out it was filthy on the outside, but the inside of it was a lot spotless, and absolutely no dirt in the intake tube. I am completely 100% percent satisfied with your product.

LAST YEAR I PURCHASED ONE OF YOUR AIR FILTERS FOR MY 1996 MERCURY GRAND MARQUIS AND WAS SO IMPRESSED WITH IT. WE MADE A TRIP OUT TO COLORADO AND THE CAR PREFORMED AND GOT BETTER GAS MILEAGE FULLY LOADED WITH THE K&N AIR FILTER THAN IT DID EMPTY WITH A "PAPER" AIR FILTER. I WAS SO IMPRESSED WITH IT I TOLD MY DAD ABOUT IT AND HE BOUGHT ONE FOR HIS NEW CHEVY AND HIS MECHANIC SAID IT WAS ONE OF BEST INVESTMENTS HE COULD OF MADE FOR HIS CAR.

I JUST PURCHASED A CAR ON E-BAY AND DROVE IT FROM WASHINGTON TO GA BUT BEFORE IT LEFT WASHINGTON I PUT A K&N AIR FILTER ON IT. IT WILL BE THE ONLY AIR FILTER THAT CAR OR ANY OF MY CARS WILL EVER OWN.

MY ONLY REGRET IS THAT K&N DOES NOT MAKE AIR FILTERS FOR MY AIRPLANE (HINT- HINT)

IT IS REFRESHING TO FIND A COMPANY THAT MAKES A PRODUCT THAT ACTUALLY LIVES UP TO IT CLAIMS.

Hi!
I have replaced my regular paper filter with a K&N factory replacement filter in my 1.2L Palio NV Sport 2004.
The results are worth the effort. Some of the differences I see are:

1. Lesser engine vibration specially when trying to lift from lighter gear (2 or 3) on flyovers.
2. Car engine doesn't show any sign of AC getting started.
3. Acceleration is extremely smoother than before.
4. Pickup is marginally better.
5. Ignition is more crisp than before.
6. Can't comment on mileage since I had only two gas-fills after the replacement.

Cheers.......

It's nice to know that you don't have to spend an arm or a leg to get a little more out of your vehicle's. I get the best of both worlds more speed for less fuel. For every car or motorcycle I purchase it does not leave the showroom with out its filter. Not is it my household requirement. It's now the whole family's requirements. 21 cars in total and still growing.

2001 FORD EXPEDITION WITH 5.4 ENGINE

I INSTALLED THE K&N FIPK ON THIS SUV ABOUT A YEAR AGO AND CAN TRULY SAY IT WAS WORTH THE MONEY. MY PERFORMANCE AND MY GAS MILEAGE BOTH INCREASED. I HAVE DRIVEN THIS SUV 600 MILES ON A TANK OF GAS ON THE HIGHWAY WITH 4 PASSENGERS AND LUGGAGE FOR A WEEK. WITH FUEL PRICES THE WAY THEY ARE, YOU CAN STILL LIVE WITH YOUR SUV. THANKS K&N FOR SUCH A GREAT PRODUCT, I AM GOING TO INSTALL 4 MORE FIPK KITS FOR MY FRIENDS.

Dear K&N team,
You encourage your customers to send you their results. So these are mine:

I am from southern Germany. I used to drive an old VW Golf from 1988. A few years ago I replaced the original foam filter with a K&N filter charger. Because I had driven the car a few years at that time I immediately recognized a slight improvement of performance; moreover, my car had more torque and needed less fuel. But the effect was really just above to be noticed.

Now I have a new car, brand new this time, a Toyota Yaris 1,0L. I replaced the original air filter after about 4000 kilometers with a K&N filter charger. I noticed during change that the K&N is VERY thin compared with the original filter (which is cotton too, I think). I even breathed through the original, what left me exhausted ;) because it was so thick. I never had any problems with the K&N filter while it was in my VW Golf, so I put that thin thing into my new car and took it for a ride. What shall I say? The effect was overwhelming. My car now has more torque, more power, goes faster AND needs less fuel. I know this sounds impossible, but it is true. I can drive 140 to 150 kilometers per hours with about 6,5 or even 6,0 liters of fuel! I calculated after a few weeks and I found out that my car now needs about 0,5 to 0,75 liters less fuel than before the filter change!

I will recommend K&N filters to all my friends & family. I should mention that the reason I bought K&N filters was in the first place for making my car more environment-friendly. That they did help me with for both of my cars.

Thank you very much for this high-quality product!

All the best & greetings from Germany,

Thank you from a loyal customer
I would just like to express my thanks to you, the webmaster, and K&N. The K&N filter facts page on your website is incredibly informative, I have learned much by reading it. I have a 2001 Kia Spectra and have noticed a very pleasant increase in performance after ordering a K&N filter, and I assure you, no matter what I drive, I will be a customer for life.

K&N Keeps My Engine Lubricated and Breathing!
I'm from Anchorage, Alaska, and I have a 1990 Chevy K1500 that originally came with the 4.3L V6, and that engine eventually broke down. I had a friend install a 350 V8, and due to budget restrictions, we reused the small 10 air cleaner from the V6, severely restricting the new V8's ability to breath. But before my old V6 died, I had purchased a K&N Air Filter replacement, so when I installed it on my V8, my performance and mileage improved considerably! I gained an extra 100 miles per tank of gas. I intend to give this filter to a friend with an older S10 Blazer and purchase an FIPK II for my V8!

I also have replaced the old oil filter with a K&N Gold oil filter, and I now average 40-50 psi instead of 30 psi with a standard oil filter. It also stays much cleaner, extending my oil changes to every 5000-7500 miles instead of every 3000.
Thanks K&N!

Using these filters both on my stock motor and built motor, the K&N is the best bang for the buck. Very nice sound and only need to buy one per the life of the car! We use them at the shop as well, have tried all the others... they're just a joke.

K & N Air Filters
I just wanted to congratulate you on producing such a simple, yet effective product. Last weekend, I pulled my K & N out of my 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo with over 207,000 miles (my Grocery Getter) to clean it off after who knows how long. I always keep a temporary paper replacement air filter to use when I clean the K & N. So I found myself driving my Grocery Getter around last weekend, wondering what was wrong with her, poor acceleration, more frequent highway transmission downshifting, etc. Well, Sunday before I went to work, I reoiled the K & N and put it back in. WOW! What a difference! It's like having rockets it there- I'm that impressed. I was so impressed, that Sunday night I went on line from work and ordered a K & N for the wife's 2002 Jeep Liberty Sport. It came Fed-ex today. And I'll say one thing, I used to call it the "Liberator", now it's the "Liber-racer." I'm just really impressed with you're great product. I'll put one in every vehicle I get and inform everyone about how great I think your product is. I'm thinking about getting the whole air system for my 1995 Jeep Wrangler. Thanks again for such a great product.

Please feel free to use this letter and my name.

Hey- I forgot one thing- I'm averaging between 20 and 21 miles per gallon in the Grand Cherokee with 207,000 miles- not that bad!

Sincerely,

Joe Zindle

Awesome Filter
I'm from Mexico and I purchased a K&N Filter for my VW Jetta 2.0 and you can not imagine the benefits that K&N filter gave to my car... the engine sound, performance fuel economy... I strongly recommend for any car.

Great Filter
Purchased a filter for the bike (as listed in your testimonials) and now for car and it sure does everything you state as on the Motorcycle, so I'm positive it will give me great service in the Commodore as well. Fuel over this way is at this moment $1.29 a litre (that's $5.80 a imperial gallon) and I will be happy to see an improvement on this area but also the get up and go department as well.

Noticeable Difference!
I just wanted to let your readers know that I installed a K&N cold air intake system on my new 06 Mustang GT and WOW what a difference. So easy, so affordable, and so responsive over the stock set up! The increased power was very noticeable right away and so far I seem to be getting about 2 miles per gallon better gas mileage if I drive sanely. Another benefit is the sound factor. My car really sounds like a muscle car now!

This is without a doubt the best bolt on performance value out there for any car. DO IT NOW, you won’t be disappointed!!!

I have a 95 Nissan Quest V6 3.0. It had been giving out steady mileage of 19.5 with highway and local combined commuting. After I installed K&N air filter last year, I can get average 20.5 miles per gallon and repeatable tanks after tanks of gas driving under the same traffic condition as before. Also the van shifts more smoothly and became more responsive to the gas pedal. Thanks for such a good product.

Mileage Improvement
I installed a K&N air filter in my 1984 Mercedes 380 SL last spring. My gas mileage immediately increased 15% on the highway and my wife (who drives it the most) noticed an improvement in acceleration the first time she drove it with the new filter. I also installed one in my 1987 Porsche in the spring and the performance increase was very noticeable. I just picked up a 97 Ford Ranger and an air filter is on the way here right now. Thanks for a great product!!!

THIS IS MY TESTIMONY
I REPLACED THE OEM AIR FILTER SYSTEM ON MY 2004 NISSAN TITAN WITH A K&N HIGH PERFORMANCE AIR FILTER. I CAN NOT BELIEVE THE CHANGE. IT IS LIKE DRIVING A DIFFERENT TRUCK. THE TITAN WAS QUICK BEFORE THE CHANGE. IT IS SO MUCH QUICKER NOW. I DROVE FROM FLORIDA TO MINNESOTA DRIVING NOT OVER 70 MPH AND WAS GETTING BETWEEN 18.5 AND 19.5MPG THAT WAS OFF THE FACTORY DIAGNOSTIC GAUGES. MOST THE TIME IN TOWN I WILL AVERAGE ABOUT 16MPG. IF THE PAVEMENT IS A LITTLE WET I HAVE TO USE CAUTION. IT WILL BREAK THE STOCK 18" TIRES LOOSE. BEST MONEY I EVER SPENT ON ANY HIGH PERFORMANCE PRODUCT.

I'd been thinking about getting an induction kit for a while, wasn't really sure which one to get or how to fit it. Problem solved with K&N! Kit was designed specifically for the model and manufacturer of car, fitted perfectly. The clear and concise colour instructions I received with it allows a complete modification novice to rip bits out from under the hood and replace with confidence. Took about an hour, spent ages working out how to remove the standard air box! (Big and heavy in comparison) Sounds fantastic, my car finally doesn't sound as if it's going to explode when pushed a little, may get a bit annoying on long journeys though. Performance wise... there was never going to be anything special on a 1.2i but acceleration is smoother, (no lag time when back on the gas after changing gear) engine feels more responsive, and I'm not sure but I could swear I'm not using quite as much fuel. Add to the above never having to replace the filter again. I'm a very satisfied customer, think I'll be fitting one of these on every car I get from now on!

Great product, great design, great instructions, great value for money, perfectly delivered, thank you K&N!

I just installed my new K&N air filter in my 2000 Chevy Monte Carlo 3.4L. My brother in law gave it to me for my birthday. I noticed an immediate increase in performance. The car was quick before, now it seems to just want to fly. It has distinctive growl now, too. I am not sure what my gas mileage will be, as I did just install it, but according to the other letters on your site, I can not wait to see.

Hey Guy's: I'm not a pro, but I do a bit of my own work on my cars. Currently my project is a 1992 Subaru Wagon with a Turbo. I was getting about 15 MPG. Well after the K&N Filter I was not only getting better mileage but a kick in the pants too. You see the car isn't stock and the boost has been as high as 21 lbs! It is a real kick to drive and here in the Rocky Mountains it is a lot of fun. The suspension has been breathed on too as well as adding disc brakes all around. It is a sleeper in the best sense. With my friend getting a K&N filter for his car when we did a tune-up that makes a bakers dozen I've installed in vehicles! 13 satisfied people some of whom had never heard of you. I'm so happy you make such a good product that I feel VERY confident recommending them. I've been working on cars since the early 70's and got my first K&N in the early 80's and haven't turned back.

Thanks again
Sincerely,

2005 Chevy Silverado 1500

Dear K&N,
I just put a 63 series intake kit on my new 2005 Silverado, Crew Cab, Short Bed, and I love it. I was going for the gas savings and was quite happy. I was averaging 15.2 MPG around town. I put a fiberglass top on the bed to cut wind resistance and got about 16.2 MPG. I said there has to be another way, so I researched and added a 63 series intake kit to see what I could get. I am now at around 18.6 around town and 20.9 on the highway. Not bad for a full size truck with 4 doors. I have to say I was not looking for the added power but it is a welcome side effect when entering traffic. Thanks for a quality product that really looks good. Would recommend this product to anyone who wants to save gas and have a little more power when needed. Thanks again.

K & N are the absolute best air filters available. I increased my MPG on my 2001 F-150 Four (4) miles per gallon by just using your product. When I bought a new truck, I drove one tank completely empty and averaged 14 mpg. I dropped the K & N in and I average 17 mpg. I recommend your product to everyone and anyone. Can I get a commission? Never mind, my commission is less $$$ at the pump.

Thanks K & N:

KNFilters. 33-2042, GMC Sonoma

I bought a 03 Sonoma ZR2 Highrider in '04, 190 horse, 3-speed/OD, bells and whistles. While 0-60 felt doggish, I thought it was okay. I always, from the time I bought it, thought that the truck just needed a little something. I dreamt of a KN cold induction, but was quoted an installation estimate and balked. While in a local parts store I saw the filter only (no replacement induction parts). I took a chance and bought the filter. I continued to the quickie-lube, had them pop it in, as I was due for an OLF. We left the service station and pulled out into 70km posted speed limit road. I Couldn't Believe It !! Felt like a cars acceleration. I asked my wife, "Did you feel that?" She of course responded "no what". We ran a few errands, visited with some friends. Four beers later My wife became the driver. She didn't believe what I claimed as added pep. She drove home, we live 15 miles from any town. We have three stops on the way home. Every one of them was left with a couple of black rubber marks!! Wow!

So far the best 80 bucks (Canadian) I ever spent on my Baby. Thanks K&N

Dear K&N:
Just wanted to let you know that I have put your filter in three cars and all have better throttle response and acceleration. The first car was a 2003 Nissan Altima and it was nice to be able to speed up on the freeway and not have to shift down. The second was a 1996 Toyota Tercel that definitely needed any edge it could get and once again the filter performed beyond my expectations. Finally I recently traded in the Nissan and bought a 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan and put in the filter today and immediately noticed a huge acceleration difference and will report back on the gas mileage. Not sure what the difference in mileage was with the other cars but I know it was better just based on how far I could go. In the Nissan Altima after installing the filter and nothing else, I went from Phoenix to Vegas and back in 100+ temps and a/c running and car loaded with family and luggage and made the entire trip which was 555 miles on one tank, which is incredible.
