K&N,
When I purchased my 1978 Dodge Diplomat Medallion,
2-Door w/318 2brrl lean burn w/62000 miles last summer, the first thing I did
was buy a K&N Air Filter for it. I noticed a difference right away, power
at the pedal was quick and smooth, whether I chomped on it or drove it like
grandma. Plus, a healthy air transfer sound was evident, as well, at the
carburetor with the air cleaner on and sealed. Later that summer on a long
trip to Carlisle, PA's Mopar Nationals event, I got 30 MPG. That is really
unheard of for many Diplomat and 318 owners, just read the web. Many get
up to 22 MPG highway. With the help from K&N my Diplomat easily gets 25
MPG highway, on average. Which, with rising gas prices, is really great
for an eight cylinder engine! Some newer cars don't even get that kind of
mileage, and they have a lighter body, smaller wheel base, smaller engines.
I recently purchased a K&N Oil Filter as well. We will see how she does,
but I am sure that the results will be comparable to the performance of the air
filter. That nut on the end of the filter came in handy with the tight
space, and a short filter. Thanks K&N for a great reusable air filter!

OH my!!
To all this may concern,
Now there was a level of hesitation when I hit the
“Enter” button to complete the order for a 63-3050 (AirCharger Air Intake) for
my 2006 GMC Sierra ½ ton, but now let me tell you the story after I received it.
My level of expertise working on an engine reaches only
as far as an oil change and battery connections for my amplifier. This was EASY
to Install. It took me, from opening the box to starting the engine, 35
minutes to install and I was being very careful to not screw anything up.
By the way, there is really nothing you can do to screw the install up unless
you lose a part or run something over.
Anyway, after starting the engine I didn’t hear too
much of a difference from my upgraded exhaust, but my exhaust is loud enough as
it is anyway. I took it on the freeway and WOW, the take off is amazing
and the sound…. I tell you that there is very nice RUMBLE coming out from
under my hood and resonating out of my exhaust..
The sound/power is not the only thing. I filled
up my gas this morning and took the EXACT same route I take every morning to
work, reset all my gauges to ensure accurate measurement and I couldn’t believe
that I really gained just under 2MPG. I was really, really skeptical about
the claims of MPG gains so this almost blew me away. I was getting 14.7
mpg to work and it went up to 16.5mpg. That’s really good mileage for me
due to the truck being lifted and with heavier tires.
I am the average Joe that was looking for increases in
my truck performance and this exceeded my expectations. Again, I was a
MAJOR skeptic and had the mindset of, “If this thing didn’t show me the
slightest improvement I had no problem sending it back”, so I am proud to say
that K&N took all the doubts away from me and it is a product I recommend to the
folks that are reading these testimonials religiously before taking that big
$250-$300 step just as I did.
K&N all they away, these guys can correct this
statement if I am wrong but I think that K&N are one of the true originators of
intakes so this should tell everyone out there that they’ve got to be doing it
RIGHT!!!!!

Dear K&N:
I installed the Fuel Injection Performance Kit (K&N #57-2553) on my 2003 Ford
Crown Vic.
Boy does it sound MEAN! It'd be worth it just for the sound alone, but the
improvement in the throttle response of the engine was what I was really looking
for and it did not disappoint. The engine's performance now seems so
"effortless" it isn't even funny.
I am not sure about any gas mileage improvement as yet because I haven't
measured it, but it's probably there because with the increased performance
there's less need to be sticking my foot into it all the time.
One unexpected improvement was that the kit seems also to have improved the
car's handling. Don't ask me how....it sounds odd, I know, but perhaps
with a rear wheel drive car like the Crown Vic it just gives you some added
control. Even my brother said he thought so, too.
Thanks a lot for a great product!
You guys should make mufflers.

My feedback on K&N Filters
It has been 8 months since I purchased a K&N 33-2293 for my Mazda 3s, and from
day 1 up until now the filter has given me excellent results!
Immediately after installation I saw a 3-4 mpg increase in fuel economy and and
the engine revs much smoother and sounds more aggressive!
And now, 8 months later, I am typing this while my filter is drying from its
first cleaning, and I can honestly say the the mpg increase, smoothness, and
engine note are still here! The K&N filter's benefits have not dwindled!
Thanks, K&N for making a great product that delivers! I proudly display the K&N
deal in my rear window!

Recently purchased a 2006 V6 4 Runner Sport Edition. Love the
truck but gas mileage and engine performance were just ok. I was getting
18.5 to 19.5 in town if I was careful. Just installed the K & N Air
Charger System. I'm not a great mechanic but still found it relatively
simple with your directions. It's hard for me to believe but gas mileage
has increased to 23.5 to 24 if I can keep my foot out of it. Love the
engine sound. Everything about the vehicle is smoother and with the price
of gas this will pay for itself in no time. The truck is quicker off the
start and pulls much harder all the way through the power band.
You guys claim an increase of 9.5 HP but the seat of my pants say your selling
yourself short. Love the product.

Amazing filter
I have had my 1.3 Endura-e Ford Fiesta for many years and have enjoyed driving
it since new. At 30,000 miles, I did a nice big service and pondered over
ways to improve it. I fitted the K&N 57i induction kit 3 weeks ago and
can't believe it.... My car has come alive with more torque, less revs in each
gear, a lovely low growl and better fuel economy! I have calculated an
increase of an extra 4 mpg and that's in urban areas. That's an extra 35
miles per tank of petrol.
My car sounds better, runs better and has re-kindled my passion for driving the
lovely little Fiesta. I can't believe I didn't fit this from the start,
huge thumbs up to K&N!!!!!

Thanks for making such an awesome product for an '02 Olds Bravada.
I recently purchased a FIPK GEN II for my vehicle and all I can say is WOW!
THE POWER IS AWESOME. THE SOUND IS UNBELIEVABLE. The gas mileage
actually even went up about 4 MPG. In my vehicle that is about 70 miles
per tank. This item will pay for itself in no time. Thank You, K&N
for an awesome product.

To Whom It May Concern:
I just wanted to drop you a line to let you know how pleased
I am with your product! I just had a 6” lift installed on my 2002 Chevy
Silverado! With the lift, it requires (that’s what I told my wife) larger
tires. I was slightly concerned with the drop in gas mileage (losing about
3 to 5mpg with 35’s) and the rep at the shop suggested a K&N Intake and Filter.
I was a bit skeptical, but had heard some good things about K&N, so I figured
why not. Well, the lift is complete, and to my surprise, I lost NO gas
mileage, and there is a NOTICEABLE increase in power. I was shocked.
I immediately went and purchased another one for my wife’s vehicle, and the same
thing happened with hers – increased gas mileage (about 4 MPG), and more power.
Thanks K&N for a product that actually lives up to the advertising.

Extremely happy customer
I chose a K & N filter for my 2002 Roadstar based on two things. The first being
K & N's reputation and second the sleek appearance. Along with exhaust and
carb modifications my bike turned from a meek mouse to a screaming maniac.
I was a happy camper.
Last year the chrome began to peel from the cover after I hit it with high
pressure water. I contacted customer service and a very competent woman
name Lisa handled my concern. A week after sending Lisa a picture of the
filter cover I received a new one free of charge. I still feel the same
about the product but I am now a lifelong committed owner of K & N products.
If you guys made toilet paper I would be the first to buy it.

K&N Testimonials
Way to go K&N!!!! I've just installed a FIPK on my 02 Chevy
Z-71. Very impressed with attention to detail from the installation
process to the finished great sounding intake. If I can restrain and keep
my foot out of throttle, there is no doubt there will be a gas savings that will
pay the cost of the FIPK. The problem lies with the temptation of a cool
sound of when you jump on the gas...

Ok K & N,
So I've always been a skeptic about
enhancements for my vehicle. I just recently purchased an AirCharger (air
intake) for my 05 Tacoma. The throttle response is outstanding, it also
added 40-50 miles a tank for me. I'll make my money back in no time.
I did the calculation..the AirCharger will save me over $3,100 over the next
100,000 miles. There is just no substitute for this product..
Thanks for the gas saver, it's needed now.

I recently sent in an email about the HP upgrades on my '02 Grand Am
GT, now the gas mileage has increased. In a combo of highway and stop and go
traffic, my car would normally get about 225 miles till empty. Now after
about a month and a half of having the filter in my car, I can now get 280 miles
till empty. Given the fact that its cost me $35 to fill it up @ 2.97 a
gallon, this is remarkable!!! Thanks again K&N for simple , affordable and
quality products that AREN'T gimmicks!!! Keep up the good work!!

If people want to know how really good your filters are, then read this. I
have had K & N on my motorcycle since 2001. I have done 40,000 miles,
replacing the oil filter after 4,000. That is 10 filters from K & N.
At 40,000, the engine demands a strip down and overhaul. The engine was in
such good condition, they told me to bring it back when it has done 80,000.
They were simply amazed and all because of a good quality oil and oil filter… I
do not buy elsewhere!

K & N helped my gas mileage
I have a 1992 Nissan 4 cylinder pickup with over 240,000 miles on it.
I was averaging about 24 MPG with my paper filter, but the K&N helped me get
over 28 MPG! I recommend K&N air filters to everyone I meet.
Thank you.

Why don't BMW fit your filters as Standard?
To K&N Staff,
I have just purchased 1 of your filters today, for my
BMW 320 (2.2) 2001 which I have owned since new and it has never been that
smooth with it's power delivery. In the last 5 miles since I have
installed your filter I have seen my car come to life, there is no pinking , no
judder or delay, it is a shame that companies like BMW do not put quality
performance equipment in their cars like your filters.
Well done K&N keep up the good work.

Dear K & N,
I recently cleaned my K & N air filter and was very impressed with
the K & N cleaning kit. The air FilterCharger was purchased 3 - 4 - 1997

and worked like new. I will now have a K &N on every vehicle I own.

K and N Experience
I bought a 33-2128 panel filter for my 2001 Volkswagen GTI, and I felt an

hesitates when accelerating hard. Moreover, my fuel economy has increased

I bought a 2006 Nissan Quest 3.5S Special Edition in Feb.
Because the Van has a computer to calculate the average mpg, it changed my
driving habit. The Average MPG for the first 1880 miles, 20.8 mpg, was
recorded by on-board computer. After installed K&N filter and reset the
computer by disconnecting battery ground line of the Quest VAN for 15 minutes,
then reconnect, and drive for another 900 miles, my on-board computer shows
average 23.3 mpg. With the same driving style and commuting route,
improvement is 12%. I had traded in my 1995 Quest for this van and the
1995 Van's average mpg was raised from 19.5 to 20.5 mpg after using K&N filter
as reported on October 26 2005.

I replaced my OEM filter with a K&N high flow filter in my new 2006
Elantra GLS last week and immediately noticed the difference. Quicker
acceleration and most of all a significant improvement in gas mileage. My
engine is running smoother and the transmission is shifting smoother. I
also noticed it gave my engine a nice sound. When I hit cruising speed
about 60mph on the highway it produces a nice whistle sound with a low roar to
it. Even when running the A/C I still get good acceleration.

A Couple of days ago I bought a K&N Air Filter for my 1998 Ford Explorer. My old
dirty paper air filter really needed to be replaced and I was tired of having to
keep replacing it. I had heard everywhere about K&N Air Filters and I thought I
would give it a try. I would actually be saving money if t worked. And it did. I
could totally tell the difference in the acceleration mostly. I was like wow-
this product actually works. So thank you. Now because of this I’m thinking of
buying some more of your products.

All I can say is wow. I have a 1996 Land Rover
Discovery se-7 these trucks are very durable and strong but gas consumption is
not one of their good points. Before I bought the K&N air filter I was
getting about 13 mpg town and about 18 mpg Highway with stock Land Rover
filters. Once I bought the K&N air filter my results changed very much.
I now average 16 mpg town and 20-22 mpg highway and I have more horsepower plus
on my truck I have 30" tires a steel bumper and steel wheels. The K&N
filters are the best. My mom has one in her Range Rover and the mileage
increased. K&N makes the best air filters in the world BAR NONE.

I just installed a K&N FIPK 2 into my 2004 GMC Sierra 1500 with the
5.3L V8 and from the moment I installed it made a huge difference wise.
First of all, the performance was outstanding. You could feel the kick as
soon as I went out for the first time. Man it moved great. Next was
the appearance. It looked so good and freed up so much space in the engine
compartment that I couldn’t believe it. I can now get to the bottom of the
engine near the radiator without taking anything out. So far I am very
pleased with this product and I am anxious to see what kind of fuel mileage that
I get with this on. Also the sound of this thing is not bad at all.
It actually is very quiet and will really only make noise when I get on it hard.
Very pleased with all your products and please keep up the good job. This
is the only product that I have seen that actually works and does not cost you
an arm and a leg. Thank you again and keep up the good work.

Great results with the AirCharger on my 05 Jeep Liberty 3.7L 4x4
I recently purchased the K&N air charger (air intake) kit for my 2005 Jeep
Liberty 3.7L 4x4. I’m not an auto mechanic by any means, so the very
detailed installation instructions were perfect as I had the kit installed
within the 90 minute estimated install time. After the install, I took it
for a drive and instantly noticed the additional power and the transmission
seemed to be shifting much more smoothly now. A few days after that, I
pulled my ATV from NC to WV through the mountains. When pulling up the big
hills, I could really feel the difference in that the engine didn’t seem to work
as hard. If the engine downshifted, there was more power than before.
I had been tracking my gas mileage prior to the install and after the install.
Consumer Reports rated my Jeep in their “real” test as having 10 city and 22
highway. Before the install, I was getting about 15-16 on my normal drive
(no highway). Now, I am getting 17-18 mpg. That doesn’t sound like
much, but just that much difference can add up to almost 40 more miles per tank
(20 gallon tank). That’s a savings of over 2 gallons of gas per tank at
$3.00/gallon which is about $6.00 per fill up! So, not only did I gain the extra
power, I save money at the pump!

1992 BMW 320i
I have always used K&N air filters on all the vehicles I have owned.
Fitting a K&N air filter is the simplest and easiest way at instantly jumping up
the enjoyment you get from driving your vehicle. My latest vehicle is a
BMW 320i 1992 E36. I drove it around for four painful months with the
standard paper filter and then the day came when I installed the K&N replacement
panel filter. Wow!! What an immediate difference. Now my BMW
320i feels more like a 325, very lively and responsive! I almost have to learn
how do drive my car again. The increased power and mpg are amazing from
such a simple product. My BMW now feels like a weird horse trying to leap
forward at every opportunity. Torque from low down revs right up to red
line has jumped right up! Cruising around, overtaking, off the lights and
motorway driving have improved more than I thought possible! My BMW 320i
is now sheer pleasure to drive everyday! Thanks K&N you have totally
transformed my BMW 320i from a tame coupe into a very sporty coupe with improved
fuel economy of up to 7-10% !!! My K&N replacement panel filter will pay
for itself within the next few months!!
Thank you,

I'm impressed
Dear K&N; Being over 50 years old, I'm not easily impressed anymore. Ya
got me.. my 2000 Silverado 4x4 always got a maximum 350 miles on a tank of reg.
gas. I always reset my trip meter when filling up to keep track in case
the gauge breaks. Well I thought it had broken when I was 350 miles and
still had almost 1/4 on gauge. With emergency safe gas in back, decided to
keep going. made 400 miles and didn't need the 26gal. to fill up, 24gal. did it.
Scratched head for a while, and went on. Next tank, same thing.
What's going on? Then it struck me. I had replaced my stock air
filter, which wasn't really that dirty, with a K&N that cost twice as much as a
stock filter as a result of a floating Ping-Pong ball gizmo I saw at Advance
Auto Parts a few weeks ago. 120,000 miles on truck with maintenance well
kept up with, I thought.

2005 Accord
Have used K&N Air filters since 2000 (my F150). Installed one in my 2005
Accord 2.4L when I bought it new a year ago. I’m getting around 34-35 mpg
with plenty of pep. Had put one in a 2003 Civic after running a paper

understand why they’re not OEM on all cars,

Worth the Money
I recently purchased a K&N Air Filter, and I am already a firm
believer in this product and company! I have an '02 Grand Am GT, which has
a very strong 3.4L V6 under the hood!! Ever since I installed the filter ,
this thing is even more of a monster!!!! Putting in a full tank of gas
would always make the car feel a little sluggish, but now it gets going like it
would with a quarter tank!! You can actually hear the air being taken in
at full and part throttle. This combined with Ram Air has made a good
engine , great!!!!! Installation is a snap and will take all of 5 to 10
minutes!!!!!!! 12 out 10!!!!!!

Awesome filter
I purchased your direct replacement K&N filter for my 94 Jeep Cherokee. I
noticed an increase in both performance and I am close to the original factory
fuel economy again considering the vehicle has over 240 thousand miles.
The sound from the filter box has also changed, giving the vehicle a deeper roar
from under the hood when I step on the gas, really gets attention. I am
also an avid off road enthusiast and just love being able to remove the filter
after a wet, dusty, or even muddy day of fun in the sun and clean it right up.
I have also notice that the inside of my intake hose leading to the TB remains
cleaner than before, which really is a blessing with all the dirt and dust I put
my Jeep through. Thanks for a great product and I look forward to one of
your more direct airflow systems.

Well what can I say - I have been riding a Yamaha Dragstar XVS 650cc
for some years now with standard air filter, and after replacing it with a K&N
air filter I shall never go back to the standard - once you start up the bike
you can instantly hear the air intake and the throttle response is so much
faster. I would recommend K&N over standard bike air filters any day.

Thanks so much
I just installed your cold are intake and I am very
impressed with the change. I own a 2001 Silverado with the 5.3 V8. I
did get 18-19 mpg, but now I'm managing 21-22mpg. That's incredible for a
V8 4X4. Take off is outstanding compared to previously. Also the
sound is a big improvement. On hard take offs, (very common in my daily
driving) you can actually hear it pull so much more air. And at cruising,
(90-95mph) it has a slight whistle to it. I love it. It is the best
thing I have done for any of my vehicles. I advise it to anyone with an
engine of any type. Thanks so much for your product. I really do
appreciate it.

Increased Fuel Economy
I imagine that stories such as this are not unusual for you to receive. I
installed an FIPK (air intake) on my 2002 Ford F-250 S Crew Super Duty Off Road
4x4 pickup truck. The best mileage I could get before this, even with a
K&N Filter replacing the factory cartridge was 11.5 mpg. I installed the
FIPK and drove it around town for about a week before I left on a trip driving
from Pittsburgh to Detroit. The around town performance increased in
reference to power on the hills we have around here. On the trip to
Detroit which is mostly on Interstates was uneventful except that when I filled
up after getting to Michigan my calculator told me that I got 16 mpg! I
thought I'd made some mistake! I never expected to recognize that much of
an increase! I zeroed out my trip meter and kept track of the mileage all
over again. The next time I filled up it came out to 15.8 mpg! I ran
the test one more time during the last part of the trip and got 15.9 mpg!
I was in shocked disbelief. I had recorded all the other figures for fuel
consumption and miles and gave them to my buddy to double check my figures I
thought maybe my calculator was broken but he came up with the same figures.
I never expected to get a 4.5 mpg increase! I've been cautious about
telling anyone else about the improvement because I didn't think they would
believe me. With 87 octane gasoline at $2.29 per gallon I figure the FIPK
should pay for itself very quickly.
Thanks from a satisfied customer,

I put one in my 2000 Dodge Ram a couple yeas ago and I love
the way it works for me. Better gas mileage and performance and it also
looks sharp. Never a second thought.

I put a K&N air filter on my 1994 Toyota 4Runner when I purchased it
new in September of 1993. 220,000 miles and 12 1/2 years later the K&N
filter is in perfect shape, with just routine cleaning and oiling.
I know I have saved a bundle not buying replacement air filters over the years.
Thanks for a great product.

Super Duty drivers take note
I just purchased the entire K&N system (intake) for my
2004 Ford F-350 super duty. The power improvement is there all right, and
the mpg went from 11 mpg to 14 mpg. Even under while plowing snow in four
wheel drive the truck performs far better. Thank you for such a great
product.

My expectations have been exceeded. I already had faith in the
use of a K&N filter increasing performance and gas mileage, but I never expected
this! What a difference, in 2 minutes my 1998 Jeep Cherokee 4.0L 4x4 could
finally take in a deep breath of clean air! I use my truck for highway and
off road use and the extra bit of "get er' done" really makes it fun out on the
trails. I don't have any data to prove any of this, but you can definitely
feel the difference when you step on it. I had previously upgraded my
exhaust with a "performance" muffler which has a flow through design.
After I did this I did notice a small increase in power and the sound was nice
too...the real reason I bring this up is because after I added the K&N
replacement filter the sound improved greatly and it really does get up and go
now! I am very impressed with this product and will definitely recommend
it to all of my friends, family and strangers I meet at Canadian Tire buying a
paper filter!! DON'T DO IT! I know I have already gotten my money's
worth out of this filter. The gas mileage, the extra power, the better
sound...and not to mention the added protection of such a well designed filter
which never has to be replaced! This is great! Less garbage at the
landfills, which I am a huge fan of and did I mention you never have to replace
it...oh how my Jeep loves your product. A great investment for any
automobile enthusiast or environmentally conscious driver. Remember
you're saving gas which pollutes the air plus saving it from ending up in a
landfill! Think of how many air filters are being tossed out every year
assuming the average driver would hopefully change it once a year. You get
the picture and I hope now you switch to K&N. I highly recommend it!

and its still holding up GREAT. Gave me a little bit more power. I
love the Sound it makes when you gas it!!! It makes my exhaust louder too.
I'm very impressed, love the K&N cone filter!!! I will always buy K&N!!!!!

Hello:
I own the very first car I ever was a passenger in: a '66 Oldsmobile Delta 88,
and recently purchased a K&N filter for it after I had the 425 under the hood
partially rebuilt. This is not the first K&N I have owned, and it will not
be the last. I have always been impressed with the money I have saved by
buying these reusable filters, and have noticed a slight improvement in throttle
response and fuel economy.
Both my 425 and I thank you for such a good product!
Now if you could make a K&N cabin filter for my '02 Pontiac Montana ...

The amazing K&N air filter
I put a K&N in my 1992 Jeep Cherokee and immediately noticed a big difference.
I now have 183,000 miles on my Jeep and still average about twenty to twenty two
mile per gallon. As a mechanic I believe with a paper filter my results
would be far different, keep up the good work guys.

My neighbor that owns a Honda Civic suggested that I buy a K & N Air Filter
for my Toyota Tercel. After reading some of the comments posted on this
site, I decided to look into it. The average price for a filter for the
Tercel was $46 so I went ahead and ordered one. I installed it a few days
ago and went on a 5 hour road trip yesterday. I could not believe the
difference in the amount of power my car has. I didn't do anything but
install the K&N Air Filter. I also noted that after 5 hours of driving my
gas tank would normally be almost empty, but yesterday I still had a little over
1/4 of a tank. I haven't figured out my gas mileage yet, but there is no
doubt that it has improved. I would highly recommend one of these filters.
The difference in the way the car drives and the extra gas mileage makes it well
worth it. If you do a lot of driving like I do, the cost of buying this
filter will pay for itself in gas savings. I wish someone would have told
me about K&N Filters earlier. GREAT PRODUCT!!!

K&N Aircharger
Just had your Aircharger (Air Intake) installed on my 2006 mustang GT and I’m
VERY pleased with the results, I can definitely tell a difference in the
acceleration. I had a set of (performance) mufflers put on about a week
before and between the two my Mustang sounds and runs really good. THANKS
for a wonderful product.

Toyota 75 Series Ute.
I owned a 1995 Toyota 75 series 4.2 litre Ute. I could not drive from
Cloncurry to Longreach on one tank of fuel. I was lucky to get 495
kilometers to 84 litres of fuel at 2,600 revs. which is about 112 kmh Plus the
vechicle was sluggish and had to be driven hard to get up and going. It
was recommended by a friend I fit a K&N filter. I noticed the difference
immediately driving in town. The vechicle would pull in 5th gear at 40kmh
and keep gaining speed without having to put the pedal to the metal. I
left Southport on the Gold Coast and drove to the main highway rounabout at
Rockhampton before switching to the front tank. Odometer read 712 klm's on
one tank the vechicle was fitted with two fuel tanks. I could get 84
litres out of the rear tank and 87 litres out of the front tank. I drove
1466 kilometers at 2,600rpm on both tanks of fuel. I could achieve 600+
around town because the vechicle didn't require hard driving to get to speed.
The vechicle went from returning around 5.5 klm's to a litre to around 8.57
klm's a litre. I would recommend the fitting of a K&N air filter to any
vechicle. I have one fitted to my wife's Mitsubishi Galant GSR. and have
now fitted one to my Landrover Discovery Tdi
