The K&N Horsepower Challenge is for competitors in NHRA Pro Stock.  It is held at the Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals in Norwalk, Ohio.  It is open to eight drivers.  The first seven positions will be determined by points earned at NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series races and the eighth position will be decided by fan vote.  The fan vote is where you can help your favorite racer have a shot at the winning the K&N Horsepower Challenge race and the $50,000 that goes to the winner!

As part of the program, a $3,000 bonus is awarded to the No. 1 qualifier at each NHRA national event. The winner of the K&N Horsepower Challenge race wins the $50,000 first prize.  $10,000 will be awarded to the runner-up, $3,000 each to the two semifinalists, and $2,500 each to the four first-round finishers.
