K&N is Primary Sponsor for Roush Racing No.6 Truck in NASCAR Craftsman Truck Race
Feb 16, 2007 - K&N Engineering, Inc. is proud to sponsor the Roush Racing No.6 Ford F-150 in
Friday night’s NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season debut. The Daytona
International Speedway event will be broadcast on the Speed channel tonight at
7:30 p.m. EST.
K&N Eingineering is the primary sponsor for Travis Kvapil's No.6 Ford F-150
Travis Kvapil is the pilot for Jack Roush. The 30-year-old was approached by
Roush and is a favorite to win the Craftsman Truck championship. He will be driving the same car Mark Martin won six of 14 races
last season. Kvapil is expected to be a major contender against defending
champion Todd Bodine.
The Janesville, Wisconsin native is the 2003 Trucks champion and is making his first start in a Truck
Series event since November 2004. In 2001, Kvapil won rookie of the year honors
after his first career Truck Series victory at Texas Motor Speedway. He started
in 96 truck races and completed 97 percent of all the laps run between 2001 and
Kvapil has five career wins, 40 top-five and 64 top-10 finishes in the Craftsman
Truck Series and will contend for the 2007 title with his season debut at
