K&N Engineering, Inc. is the presenting sponsor for the 2007 USAC Silver Crown
Series. K&N is also supporting a new Silver Crown team in conjunction with

2007 USAC Silver Crown season.
“K&N is excited to partner with Penske Racing and Western Speed Racing to
provide Billy Wease an opportunity to compete for the 2007 USAC Silver Crown

“The Silver Crown Series is the top tier of USAC,” said Rick Gerhardt, President
of Western Speed Racing. “Last season we worked with Billy in the midget
division and believe he is ready for the challenge of competing for his first
Silver Crown title. K&N is high on performance and makes a great product. It’s a
winning combination and we hope to win the championship.”
Winning the 2006 Turkey Night at Irwindale was a dream come true for
20-year old Billy Wease. The Penske Racing development driver from Indiana has
been racing for 14 years, but has never competed for a full-season title.
