The competition was tough all week long, and Campbell was able to transfer to the A-Feature for three nights and remained in the top 20. A lot of teams experienced car and motor troubles, but Campbell felt confident with his team.

“This was pretty much a shake down for our team,” said Campbell. “Nobody was passing anyone the whole week. This was not one of those times when you are going to battle your way from the back. We are trying a lot of new things this year so East Bay was a testing ground for us.”

Campbell said they are trying to focus on preparing for next weeks race at Volusia Speedway in Barberville, Florida. There will be three nights of All Stars action followed by three nights of World of Outlaws racing.

“The new graphic design on our sprint car drew lots of attention in Florida,” said Katie Schroeder of Jeremy Campbell Motorsports. “It looks like it will be a crowd favorite.”
