K&N Engineering has developed a 57i Series Generation 2 Intake Kit (57i-2503) for the 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 Ford Focus II 2.5 liter engine. The intake tube on this K&N Intake Kit replaces the entire intake track from the original air box.

The silicone hose is connected to the heat shield and is designed to replace the vent hose of the stock air system. In order to prevent hot air from entering the air intake system the K&N Air Filter is positioned in the heat shield away from the engine. K&N designed this kit to achieve maximum horsepower by picking up the coolest air possible.

K&N also provides a stabilizer with brackets. The stabilizer allows the K&N Intake Kit to stay in place. All adaptors are made from high quality materials such as steel, aluminum, silicone or reinforced nylon for longevity.
